This piercing shop is professional, clean and friendly environment. It took maybe 10 minutes to get 2 lobe piercings for $70 total including jewelry. The earrings are titanium studs (with a stone) come in 3 sizes with the option of silver or gold. The piercing was properly centered and done with a needle. You get printed instructions on care afterwards. Cash only. Thanks Kelly for the service. read more

My 5yo woke up the other day and said she wanted to get her ears pierced. I've been anticipating this moment so I was prepared. Kelly came highly recommended in so many of my mom fb groups and he did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, he made my daughter feel so comfortable, at ease and brave. She got to choose her own earrings (she got the unicorn colored studs) and he immediately sprayed the piercing when he finished to alleviate any pain or discomfort. Kelly is so dope! Fast friendly and clean! This place is awesome! Super easy to book just text him! Cash only but has Zelle Venmo and Apple pay so still super convenient! My 16y daughter got her navel and helix done and it's beautiful ! I wouldn't go anywhere else he uses a needle not a gun so it's way less traumatic, he also pierced my youngest when she was an infant and her ears are still perfect! Went to take my twins in for ear piercings, the place was a little hard to find but the owner stayed on the phone and outside the shop for me to find. Was recommended this place and was not disappointed. Service was amazing and great with my kids. He made them feel less nervous, and it was very quick as well, he even gave the twins choices for their piercings and was very excited. After he gave them little treats for doing well, would definitely come back and for sure recommend! read more

From the initial phone inquiry, customer service was excellent! I knew that was the place for my son to come and get his piercing. Upon arrival we saw a family with a newborn coming out after getting pierced, I knew this shop had patience to take kids. Walking in absolutely friendly and genuine welcome. We felt extremely comfortable, shop extremely clean and had cool vibes. He walked my son through his piercing constantly checking if he was ok, and making sure he understood the steps and procedures all the way through the piercing. My son felt so comfortable and he did so well! The piercer also made sure to give both of us instructions on how to clean and what exactly to do. Don't take your kids to Claire's take them to a real piercer who is an expert in the craft. I will be bringing my daughter back for her piercing next month on her birthday! For my daughter's 18th I wanted to fulfill her wish of getting a second ear piercing. Not knowing where to go other than a Claire's or Rowan, I resorted to Yelp. I found Plan 9 Piercing, called to schedule an appointment, and spoke to Kelly. I was disappointed that his shop closed before I could get there and he offered to help me out. He closed his store, and came back two hours later just to see us! That was so special! Definitely not the type of customer service you see anymore. Kelly was super sweet, put everyone at ease, was extremely professional, sanitary, quick, and painless!! My daughter brought her own earrings from home and he even sanitized them in his autoclave and made sure that she was using real gold. As we were paying I was unaware that he only accepted cash, check, or Zelle. Fortunately, someone in the family had cash. But he couldn't make change. So he offered my daughter a cleaning solution! Everything about this place was a legit fabulous business and I would recommend taking anyone from your babies to your grannies and everyone in between to get their piercings here. read more

10/10 would get pierced here again. Kelly was amazing! I went in for a Septum piercing. My husband told me it was the most painful body mod he ever got so I was nervous. Kelly made me feel at ease and relaxed. The piercing was barely painful!! I'm pretty sure getting my ears pierced was more painful. He explained all the aftercare and said to call or text if I have questions. I cannot believe how little this piercing hurts. Even two days later the only "pain" I have is if I bump my nose accidentally or get that twinge of pain when I'm cleaning it because of the crusting. It looks amazing and I could not be happier. If you need a piercing you have got to call him!!!! It's legitimately made me consider other piercings! And if I decide to get some, he's my guy. read more

Came here to get my son's nosed pierced for his birthday. Kelly was perfect with placement. Talked him through each step of the process even saying it would hurt a bit. My son loves how it turned out. I had been wanting to get my flat re pierced for awhile and my daughter decided to get her flat pierced, too. The process was quick, one poke and it was done. It was minimally painful. Kelly has a nice selection of jewelry to choose from and cost is super reasonable. I will definitely recommend anyone and everyone to see Kelly. I didn't make an appointment but was able to be seen as a walk in and was fortunate enough to have been serviced in just a 15 min wait. I would recommend making an appointment though, because it seems that he does get busy. I went for a daith piercing to help with migraines. I had a migraine attack a day before my piercing and also as I walked in, because certain smells trigger it. I kid you not as soon as I got the piercing I felt instant relief. Kelly was reassuring and made me feel comfortable ane Honestly I felt no pain whatsoever with the piercing. It was quick and he is very clean. Post piercing, almost a week old and I haven't had a migraine/headache since then. He advised that everyone is different and may not work, but I would definitely give it a shot if you suffer from migraines or headaches. It is worth trying! Tip: Bring Cash, he only takes cash. read more

BRO 10/10 THIS GUY IS THE COOLEST FUCKIN PERSON EVERRRRR, definitely will be coming back whenever I want any other piercing. He was super comforting the entire time and made sure me and my friends felt welcomed and safe. He joked with us and we spilled some old piercer drama with him and he did an AMAZINGGG job, I've gotten my snake eyes before by someone different and I had taken them out because they were pierced horribly, waited til my tongue healed and came here, now don't trust me when I tell you this because everyone's pain tolerance is different but the pain level for me was about a 1/10, if even that, I will 100% be coming back, thank you for the perfect experience!! read more

But earlier, when discussing pricing, he had mentioned that he could draw something in the range of $50-$200, which made the $100 minimum seem inconsistent. While I felt the situation wasn't handled as clearly as it should have been, Drew, another artist at the shop that did two of our tattoos, was very understanding. He apologized for the confusion and gave us two free shirts to make up for it, which was a nice gesture. I think it would be helpful if the shop's minimum charge were clearly posted somewhere, as we didn't see it. Drew's professionalism definitely stood out, and I would recommend confirming the total price in writing before proceeding with any tattoos here to avoid any misunderstandings. My experience was with a former artist, Lachy, who no longer works at this shop. Although he has…read moresince moved on, this experience took place while he was employed here, and it accurately reflects how my concerns were handled by both the artist and the shop. I spent a lot of time researching tattoo shops because I wanted high-quality work, and after seeing this shop's reviews and Lachy's portfolio, I felt confident booking with him. One thing I wish had been disclosed beforehand was that there would be a language barrier. Communication throughout the appointment was difficult, and I wasn't expecting that. During the tattoo, Lachy also left for about 10 minutes without saying anything, which I found unprofessional. When the tattoo was finished, I immediately noticed that the lines on the dagger weren't symmetrical and pointed it out before leaving. He attempted to make a small adjustment, but ultimately told me to let the tattoo heal for a month because the lines would settle. After it healed, the issues I was concerned about were still there. I also felt that parts of the tattoo appeared darker than I had expected. I contacted the shop to schedule a touch-up, but I felt it was more difficult than it should have been to get back in. I had also left a $200 deposit for a future tattoo. When I explained that I wasn't sure I wanted to move forward until I felt better about my first tattoo, my future appointment was canceled rather than anyone taking the time to address my concerns or reassure me. When I returned for the touch-up, I felt my concerns weren't taken seriously. Two other artists, Harim and another artist, looked at the tattoo and acknowledged that the lines weren't perfectly straight, even though they didn't believe the issue was severe. I appreciated their honesty, but this tattoo is permanent and on my body, so my opinion of the final result mattered. The solution ended up being to make the lines thicker, which helped slightly but did not correct the original issue that bothered me. After the touch-up, Lachy returned my $200 deposit and told me he wouldn't be doing my next tattoo because he doesn't do black-and-gray work. That confused me because his portfolio included black-and-gray tattoos, which was one of the reasons I chose him. The following day, I called the shop and spoke with the manager, Vanessa, hoping to explain why I was disappointed. She told me she already knew why I was calling because Lachy had already spoken with her. During that conversation, I was told that I had "started it." As a paying client who was respectfully expressing concerns about a permanent tattoo, hearing that was incredibly disappointing. I left feeling like I had been labeled a difficult client simply because I wasn't satisfied with the quality of my tattoo and wanted my concerns taken seriously. Four years have passed, and I still feel the same way about both the tattoo and the way my concerns were handled. I liked the concept of the design, but I wasn't satisfied with the execution or the customer service I received afterward. I understand that every client's experience will be different, but this was mine, and I hope it helps others make an informed decision.

I get it, you do a lot of work and everybody wants something different, but I just wanted a name and date, since the size was specified, the only thing left to debate was the type style. For some reason, they couldn't or wouldn't quote me, I was told that there was a good chance it would be the shop minimum, but they couldn't confirm and with it being 110 degrees, I didn't want to be shuffling up and down the strip when any competent shop should have been able to quote me in advance. That did in fact happen here, and when the people at Illuminati were clear and told me they would present me with font choice that didn't elevate their quote, I ended up using them. I have no idea how much money flows through Vegas, but when people come here, they come to spend. Pardon me if I like to know in advance what I'm spending. So unless Yelp has changed their policy that a review is a unique experience, I trust that this detailed account of Revolt satisfies the terms and conditions I agreed to. Walked in to be greeted with the most down to earth and easygoing staff! The place not only looked clean but smelled sterile in a very positive way! Every aspect of the walk-in, from the changing of gloves, proper cleaning technique of tools, and aftercare were incredibly hygienic and safe! Originally came in to just get our doubles done but I ended up getting my third earlobes as well! Started our girls trip off with a impulsive decision to get our ears pierced. Based off google reviews we went straight to the piercing shop. Turns out they are the WORST. So rude, couldn't answer questions and didn't give us the time of day. We didn't want rude girl to put holes in our body. Sorry not sorry. We pulled up, walked in and was greeted so kindly with AC and nice employees. Couldn't have been more grateful for my experience with Kelly--he's literally the coolest. I came in for my appointment at 7PM for standard lobes and a nostril and he was very kind to my mom and I. He took care of my needs and concern for one of my ears that was going to be pierced (had some weird irritation going on there for years). He also makes sure that you like the placement of your piercings and even has a hoop to put in your nostrils to make make sure it's where you want it; ask for his input if you need it, he'll give you a genuine answer. I came in to the shop a little upset with my mom before my piercings and I wanted to get back at her for it so I asked Kelly if he could face me towards my mom when he does my nostril since my mom is squeamish to these kinds of things and he was actually cool enough to do it for me HAHA. I'm planning to come back here in a few weeks to replace my nose stud with a hoop and once I'm 18 to get an industrial and naval done. I seriously love Kelly, thank you for this experience. I never leave reviews for anything but really felt the need to express what an amazing experience my daughter & I had with Kelly. We were planning a dad/daughter trip to Vegas and my 7 year old had been talking about getting her ears pierced, I asked her if she wanted to have it done in Vegas at a legit piercing place and not in the mall with a bunch of shoppers looking on and she thought it was a great idea. I did some searching online and came across Kelly and saw he had worked with many kids in the past. I was also planning on getting a tattoo done so I thought it would make sense to get it done at the same time. I shot him a message and he was very quick to respond. Kelly was super professional right from the start and was able to arrange an excellent artist to join him the day we were planning on coming in. He even had our appointment earlier in the day than usual to avoid the busy afternoon and evening of tattoo/piercing shops. My daughter was super nervous when we arrived but Kelly was kind, patient and talked her through the whole thing. I'm just going to preface this by saying I'm incredibly afraid of needles and I was a nervous wreck when I came in to get my cartilage pierced (I know not even a scary piercing) but I had been putting off getting pierced for over a year and I finally decided to do it!! I was a walk in about 45 minutes till closing, but Kelly was ready immediately to work me in. He was extremely patient and assured me that my piercing wouldn't hurt, as did the entire staff of Enlightened Soul Tattoo where I found him, they're all super nice and funny people. I was still panicking while sitting in the chair that I almost jumped off and changed my mind, and Kelly was so quick that the first thing I said after he stuck the needle through was "oh". It was SO much easier and faster than I had expected, not to mention virtually painless. So I went in today to get my faith pierced on both ears. I was nervous and worried but Kelly took great care of me. He assured me that everything would be fine and after telling him of my fear of needles he made sure that I did not see it at all. He talked me through everything and kept me calm the entire time. It didn't hurt nearly as bad as I thought and I liked that Kelly realized that I was doing them for my migraines. He was quick and skilled and I will totally go back for more piercings. So many good things to say about Kelly. He's extremely professional and great at what he does, but also super friendly and down-to-earth. Both my friend and I went in and got nostril piercings and the procedure was quick, careful, and precise, as well as very sterile. This review is long overdue but for sure deserved! A month ago I came with my boyfriend (for a hand to squeeze during the appointment) to see Kelly to get my nipples pierced. Being completely honest I was pretty nervous about it initially, but honestly though all the worry went away with Kelly's friendly and professionl demeanor. From beginning to end he explained and executed the process very well and I knew what to expect each step of the way including the aftercare of the piercings. STOP SEARCHING, seriously! You can't find a better piercer than Kelly! He is the best I have ever been to. He is very professional and incredibly softhearted. His environment is clean, and the rates are reasonable. I let him decide what to do with my left ear and it looks awesome! He loves what he does and it shows in his work. He took his time and made sure it was done perfectly. I think it took him longer to measure and place the dots than it did to do the piercings. Yesterday I finally decided to get the nose piercing I've been thinking about since I retired. I did some research and found all the 5 star reviews about Kelly. When I called to make an appt that he told me it was not necessary and to come on down. When my husband and I arrived we were greeted warmly and Kelly immediately made me feel very comfortable. He explained everything to me and I settled in the chair. It took less than a minute and I was done. I would recommend him for this "procedure" although I am sure he would be great for whatever you decide to pierce. read more

What really drew me to keep coming back to this shop was because of how considerate and cool Kelly is! When he was piercing my nose he noticed I had keloids on the back of my double helix piercing and took the time to write down a little remedy that I still use today that works like a charm. I really love this place, especially during "friday the 13ths" a lot of people come in and I remember being one of the last people on the waitlist and I kinda felt bad to still come in but he was still so welcoming and took his time. 10/10 experience here! read more

Killer Kelly is da bomb! I called in distress because my pierced earrings were stuck in my ear lobes for at least 10-years. Yeah, it was at least that long and no one could get them out. I found Kelly on yelp. 45-minutes after I called him, they were OUT, painlessly!!!! The price was right too, I would have paid more, his price was more than reasonable. He also salvaged my diamond studs with posts intact. Kelly wouldn't be defeated and I couldn't be happier and I might add the shop was spotless . Kelly, keep up the good work. read more

I got my nipples pierced today by Kelly and he was AMAZING. I was a bit nervous, I mean who wouldn't be, you are going in front of a stranger and having them stick needles thru your nipples lol. But from the very moment me and my friend walked in he was super friendly and welcoming and made this experience the smoothest thing possible. My girlfriend and I both got our nose piercings by Kelly. Everyone was friendly and the shop was clean. Kelly was very nice and professional. He eased our nervousness, happily answered our questions, and explained the whole process beforehand. I don't normal write reviews on anything but I must say (((Killez))) did an outstanding job with all my piercings. I got 5 piercings in one day. He made me feel very comfortable, I would recommend him to anyone who'd like to get GOOD quality piercings. That being said, he is a perfectionist & he does a clean job. My piercings healed so much quicker. Unfortunately she told us we had to allow them to close because it was getting infected. Not wanting this to happen with our 15 month old, we picked titanium earrings with a backing that clasps in the earring itself .. it's flat on the back and does not come out. It worked out for a few months but the earring actually did come out for whatever reason. I came back and she replaced the earring without cost. Piercing Vegas is so professional and I believe they have the highest standards in education and customer service.

I had to remove my simple stud and ring jewelry, I'd had them for 40+ years since the punk rock days, prior to a surgery. After not reinstalling my jewelry for 6+ weeks due to lack of anyone to assist me the holes covered over (slightly) with new skin. Kala said to just come in, no appointment necessary. I went in and he was VERY nice and professional. Kala told me my jewelry was "costume" and that I should replace them with professional titanium versions. I didn't mind paying for new jewelry, I was tired of how hard it was to remove and reinstall the old ones. He fixed me up in no time, for a very low price, for jewelry and service. The shop has SO many beautiful pieces of jewelry, it was hard not to want multiple pieces. The receptionist was super helpful while I looked around, showing me different jewelry options and explaining the pricing. I originally came in because my nose ring had fallen out and I couldn't find the post. Thankfully I still had the jewelry piece itself (it's my favorite nose ring), so I brought it with me. Tony, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He was able to put my nose ring back in and added a new post for me. The post was $15, which seems reasonable. Even though I got my favorite piece fixed, I want a new nose ring soon because Primitive has sooo many gorgeous jewelry options. I'll definitely be coming back once I save up for a piece! I trusted him with exact placement after giving him a general idea. He walked me through the pricing and I felt it was fair for the piece and placement. He got to work quickly and efficiently. After a few minutes I think we both warmed up and he was super nice and easy to talk to. My tattoo is healing perfectly a week later (see pic) and looks great! At no point were we told that dermals were "prohibited." There is a significant difference between a service simply not being offered and being told that something is prohibited. It was also very clear from the interaction that there was a lack of willingness to assist. As for the implication that I was trying to "shield" photos, that makes absolutely no sense. These are pictures I intentionally posted publicly on social media. There was nothing to hide. Regarding the jewelry, you did not "upgrade" my jewelry. You initially forgot to charge me for having it made gold. I was the one who reminded you of the charge. Because you did not want to process another transaction, you ultimately told me it was fine. Those are two very different things. What is most concerning is the response to even semi-negative reviews. Rather than acknowledging legitimate feedback, the tone comes across as dismissive and unwilling to accept any constructive criticism. A business should be able to hear feedback, even when it isn't flattering, without becoming defensive. We will happily be finding a new piercing home, one that welcomes and respects all walks of life and can accept constructive feedback professionally! My sister and I decided to have a girls' day and ended up visiting this piercing and tattoo shop downtown. There is quite a bit of construction in the area, which made getting to the parking lot a little difficult, but as locals, we completely understand that this is sometimes unavoidable and it wasn't an issue for us. Unfortunately, our experience inside the shop was less positive. When we first walked in, we received very little acknowledgment and did not feel particularly welcomed. I recognized the owner from social media and noticed her sitting on a couch in the studio working on a project. A male employee eventually asked how he could assist us, but his overall demeanor came across as noticeably unwelcoming. I was interested in getting a Medusa piercing and had a few reasonable questions about how it might work with my anatomy. I also asked if I could see the specific jewelry I would be pierced with because I wanted to make sure the size and style would be appropriate for my face. I had to ask several times before he brought the jewelry out for me to see. Once he did, I was actually very happy with the piece and appreciated being able to see it beforehand. My questions, however, seemed to be met with visible frustration, which made me feel uncomfortable asking for clarification about a permanent modification to my face. While he was retrieving the jewelry, my sister and I tried making conversation with the owner. We asked whether she had any suggestions for my sister, who already has several facial piercings, and what she personally thought might look cute or be popular right now. We were simply looking for her professional or personal opinion and were not asking her to create anything custom. I ultimately decided to get my piercing, and I am happy with the jewelry and the piercing itself. My sister, however, was so uncomfortable with the overall customer service that she decided not to get anything done. I also feel it is important to mention that we are both African-American women. I cannot say what anyone's intentions were, and I do not want to make an accusation that I cannot substantiate. However, throughout our visit, we both had the uncomfortable feeling that we were not particularly welcomed or that we didn't quite belong in the space. That feeling is difficult to ignore when you are spending money at a business and simply trying to feel comfortable and respected as a customer. The shop itself is very cute, hip, whimsical, and fun, and I genuinely wanted to have a great experience there. I simply wish the customer service had felt more welcoming and inclusive. A little patience, warmth, and willingness to answer questions would have made a significant difference in our experience.
