Sooooo the saga continues. Tried ANOTHER attempt to buy something there as my first couple attempts were worthless. Walked in about 8pm. Place had maybe 1-2 customers inside. Guy at the desk said "looks like you haven't purchased anything yet so you qualify for the first time buyer special" kid asked me what I wanted. And I told them. Got the product for $45. Informed him I qualified for the first time buyer. I won't get into the obvious confusion but I just said the guy at the desk said I could. He left me at the counter for almost 10min. By that time I just said I want to just leave. That got me an attitude from another employee and it proceeded to escalate into a verbal confrontation. JUST CUZ I WANTED TO LEAVE. it's obvious the management is the root of the problems there. read more

WOW this place is a whole experience! Everyone is super friendly as soon as you walk in, they mention all the deals up front, and they let you take all the pics. There's a cool van I definitely recommend sitting in that. Our bud tender, Nikky , was super informative, friendly, and made us feel welcomed and provided info on all the items available. I really appreciated how she took her time to point out her favorite things, additional deals, and even how this place is dog friendly. I have come into planet 13 for over a year now. I have worked with many budtenders with good recommendations, great service and quick resolution for any question big or small. I spend 500 a month on these products. I asked an employee for a specific product and they rang me up for something else by mistake. I spoke with the manager to ask to exchange or pay the difference for the product I actually wanted. Manager immediately says no refunds. Didn't look at me. No customer service, no empathy.. Just get tf out of my face because you're an inconvenience. I know this lady manager at planet 13 in Santa Ana does not care about my business and would rather her day go smooth than deal with customers. This has been one of my favorite places to shop because of the great service, lots of knowledge and help, a nice clean and inviting environment. I feel like I can't come back here now. I've also led a lot of my friends to this store because of how impressed I was with the store. I will have to tell them about this experience so they can decide if they would like to continue to go. No I'm not bluffing, yes this is actually all true. I'm not going to be treated like this nor give my hard earned money to a place that treats their customers this way. Cannabis is not a necessity, cannabis, it can be disposable business especially in a recession. People don't buy when money is tight. This manager may want to think about that before turning customers away before even looking at the problem. Also refusing to speak with me directly is a pretty poor choice on her part. Honestly, piss off planet 13 and your completely incompetent, cowardly manager. I arrived as a first timer with excitement not knowing what to expect and was explained everything and thought it was cool that I was going to be attended and helped out. I was blown away when I visited Planet 13 for their 1 year anniversary farmers market event yesterday. Our friend Cole was on the decks spinning all afternoon and we pulled up right at the tail end. When we got inside I was immediately trying to get dialed to their system because it's huge when you walk in. The LED wall is super dope, and even extends on to the front entrance walkway with LED's so legit and bright! Huge Octopus as you enter and all your top brands of prerolls, flower, tinctures, edibles and more. Don't forget to grab their $13 1/8 while supplies last, they are incredible quality, seriously like a $50 1/8 everywhere else, compared easily to Cannabiotix top shelf. We received some cool gifts for the anniversary including this big bottle of 2:1 CBD/THC drink that was phenomenal, and some soft luscious Macarons. If you know what you want and need, B line it to the express lane and get in and out. Bud tenders are knowledgeable and the staff is friendly, will definitely be back. And the accept Debit cards for a small $3 fee. I really enjoyed my visit and will be back for more soon. read more

The delivery man, Justin, arrived in record time and came right to my garage door as I instructed, He said "howdy", was quick to check my ID, and handed me my lovely blue bag containing my 4 vape cartridges and then was on his way. Huge thanks to Jose! I came in after work with a major tension headache, looking for my all too familiar gummies which usually take an hour or so to kick in. I'm relatively new to THC and asked what was the most similar dosage in a cartridge and he knew exactly what to show me. This place is all about the hype and flashy appearance. Unfortunately this means that in order to pay for all this, their prices are ridiculously high. Insanely high. Just one example: $25 for 1g prerolls that are $13 at Cannabis Works which is quite literally just across the street. My wife and I did our usual shopping here and ended up paying MORE THAN DOUBLE what the same product would cost around the corner at any other neighborhood dispensary. Don't worry about this place putting the "little guys" out of business. This isn't Vegas. Once the novelty wears off and everyone realizes that the only appeal this place has is the flashy interior, most will go back to buying from their old, trusted, neighborhood dispensaries. Their only hope is to rely on the ignorance of tourists who will be attracted to the Vegas-style hype and size of those place and are willing to pay double price for the privilege. I wanted to like this place, but they are marking up the prices so high and focusing on the unnecessary instead of delivering a good product at a good price. I don't recommend. There are plenty of other places in Santa Ana, very nearby, with the same product at much better prices. read more
