In fact, when one order arrived with the box destroyed -- and NO Luxury Shampoo inside -- I wrote to the company and included my order number + a photo of the destroyed box with no product inside. They replied that normally, the company does not refund orders that were delivered -- even if the product is missing, which got me annoyed, but I figured that the issue was closed. Then, weeks later, I received an unexpected delivery from Planet Beauty that contained a replacement shampoo for the one I had ordered. Went to Planet Beauty the other day for the first time. I was amazed by the selection of high quality beauty and hygiene products! I have to thank Ruzanna, who I believe was the manager. She was so sweet and welcoming and I let her know I was "just looking". She smiled and let me know she would help me out at anytime if I had any questions! I decided to try out the Philosophy one-step facial cleanser. I've been trying it out for a few weeks now, and I think I just might come back and buy a full size! Maybe I'll try their moisturizer as well. Hopefully the same manager is at the store the next time I come in. I have to write this review. I have been shopping at this location for a long time. Last week I went in to get a few items. I bought a conditioner that's was 50 % off. The young girl that helped me was super nice and very courteous. However I went in today to do an exchange. The item was 50% off and when I brought the item last week the kid that rang the sale did not mention that all sales items are final sales. I got greeted by this person with a wrong attitude for the get going. She told me all sales items are final sales. That there was nothing she could do. I said may I talked to the manager...I am the manager and there is Absolutely nothing I can Do To Help. She even treated me to call security...why is this woman representing the face of the store. Who said that to a client. You are in the people business. You are Un qualified unkind, uneducated person to be helping the public. I said to her that I will be writing a horrible review about this shop. I asked what her name was and she said I never give my name out. All I wanted was to do an exchange for a shampoo. I called today on 9/7/23 at 4:20 pm. I spoke with a very rude female employee. I asked if she had any gentle wax for the face, nose area. She had an all purpose hot wax. I asked the price, she quoted me for the hair remover tube. I asked again for the price of the honey wax, and she said "If you are going to be rude to me I'm not speaking to you" and hung up. Trying to get information from an employee before I drive down, is like pulling teeth. Such an imposition on them, wow. This is one place I don't need to patronize. I order A bottle of Bumble and and Bumble Straight Blow Dry, and whe the package arrived there was nothing in it ? When i called to let them no they said they needed to check there cameras and told me it was in there. I told them it was nothing but the invoice. Then she told me mabey someone in my house took it out, i was the one to get it out of the mail box and opened it there was no whole or tear in the package where it could have fallen out?? i bought several Archipelago products on line from PB. The majority of them had defective pumps, which is obviously a manufacturing problem. ZERO responsibility from Planet Beauty to address the problem. They suggested that I contact the manufacturer or use one pump for three different bottles of hand soap (not sure how that's supposed to work in three different bathrooms). This store is filled with over-priced items that could be bought at your local beauty supply store for half the price. Even the pumice stones are expensive. I could not believe that they charge $7 for a foot scrubber. i could buy the same item for $3 at any local drug or beauty store. Only buy stuff from this store if you are short on time, need the item immediately and are currently at the mall. You will get the item but you will pay the extra money for the convenience of buying the item in the mall. read more

They have the full lines of Perricone and Dermalogica. They usually have some sale going on that really helps when you are stocking up. The employees are always helpful and friendly! Cute little store I've been to a few times now. They always seem to have great friendly service and some sort of crazy cosmetics sale I never pay attention to. They also always have a really great selection of OPI and seem to be really consistent in keeping their colors stocked .Their prices are comparable to SF at 8.50 a bottle which makes them slightly over-priced, but their selection (the little tiny bottles of OPI are so cute!) more than makes up for it. But I recently decided to go into this store and I was really pleased and surprised. An associate named Jocelyn was really welcoming. I was looking for some eyelashes explained how I had no experience in lashes. I told her what I wanted though and she showed me a pair that matched with my description! Terrible customer service. After going back and forth about a return for 2 weeks and being given the run around about a bad product I received & returned they finally gave me my refund. They claimed to not have gotten it despite they & myself having the tracking info showing it had been delivered. I had to threaten to contact the BBB before they mysteriously "found" my return. After the discount code they gave me as an apology didn't even work for the products I order, I found a lower price and faster shipping at LaLa Daisy. Will never shop with PB again! read more

I came in here looking for more nail polish colors and they had a bunch! They had the most extensive OPI collection but unfortunately the Katy Perry line was sold out. They also have a little of Essie colors. OPI regular bottles are $8.50 a piece but they have a special where if you buy 5 you get two free and if you "like" them on facebook and show them then you get another nail polish bottle for free! So my friend and I bought 5 together and got 3 for free averaging the bottles to about 5 bucks. :) I love nail polish and can't wait to try them out. read more

BE CAREFUL IF YOU PURCHASED A GROUPON FOR THIS PLACE! I purchased a $60 product, I used a $20 groupon and paid the difference which was $40. After one hour I decided to return the item. I am familiar with their return policy and was ok with it since I didn't mind exchanging the product for something else I just didnt want that specific product. Problem was that Nikki only wanted to give me $40 of exchange credit. $40 is what I paid out of my pocket so then what happened to my $20 groupon credit ( that I paid $10 for)?. She said I didn't get that money back. When I made the purchase they counted my coupon as a $20 credit but when I wanted an exchange they said the credit was no longer valid. After dealing with her attitude and poor customer skills I said fine give me the store exchange for $40 so I can get my money back (in product) and give me my groupon back so I can try to get a refund from groupon directly. Not only did she NOT honor the $20 credit , She also refused to give me the groupon back! she scanned my groupon during the original purchase so it seemed as if I had used it when in fact I wasnt given the credit. The manager Tasha wasn's helpful and had no knowledge of how groupon works. She had made up her mind about what happened before I contacted her and didn't bother to hear my side of the story. Ordered some shampoo and conditioner through the mail and received it. No problem. Ordered some more styling gel and they sent me the wrong items. I notified them via email of their mistake and they told me they sent a similar item which was not true. Totally different product still made by Paul Mitchell, not some old stock. They refused to refund my money back and won't send me a return label to return the wrong items. I am not sending back at my own expense something that I didn't order. Their refusal and outright lying about the products sent is even worse. Would not recommend this company. Their customer service is terrible and they do not stand by their products. Yesterday this place had a huge one day only sale to where almost everything in the store had a buy one item and get the other one for 50% off. Needless to say, I bought a lot of stuff! I saved almost $76 on what I got! One of the items that I got was a Peter Roth skincare set. It had a full bottle of cleanser in it along with a few small items for the face and eyes. I think it has 6 or 7 small items in it. I got some treatment for eyes, a sun block, and a few other face products in it. The retail price is $35. I also got a Murad sun block, a Rene shampoo that the girl there helped me pick. She told me that it's good for thinning hair and that with consistent use, it stops hair loss in 3 to 4 months. I forgot her name as I suck at remembering most peoples names most of the time, but she's a young and petite Burnett with long hair. She's really nice and she really knows all the products there well. She even told me that she has used every shampoo and conditioner there! I also got some Alterna shampoo and a styling cream as well as something from Bamboo. I also got a nice brown barrette that holds my hair up well for $5.00. I'm never going to buy the cheap barrettes that actually cost that much or more at Target again as they tend to break easily sometimes. She was very honest with her opinions and very helpful! She told me to not use shampoo or conditioner with sulfate and other stuff like that as that dries out the hair. So does anything with alcohol in it I spent over $100 on myself yesterday, but I deserve everything that I got! If you sign up for the free beauty card there, you get alerts to sales. Products wise, not a lot of makeup, but a great selection on hair product. Organized and easy to find. I love how they have all the HOT famous brands: Pureology, Enjoy, Kerastase, Kiehl's, and many hair accessories, good brushes, & hair extensions ... Lots of goodies! As a makeup artist, I get 20% off for most of their products, so that makes me feel really GOOOOD :-) I love the makeup brushes they carry. I've been in here several times over the years and service has always been bad...not sure why I bother, but I'm just happy I didn't spend money there. Well i purchased a groupon of 15$ to purchase 30$ products from the place. I bought a shampoo of 40$ so i paid 10$ extra out of pocket. I Was aware of return policy so at the time of purchasing , cashier said i can exchange this within 1 month if i don't like the product and i will get 40$ store credit. When i went back for the store credit, i was given a rude answer by saying i will be loosing groupon amount in case of exchange + they won't give a store credit for this. B&b without having to go to a salon. Yup, super convenient. The only downside?? B&b thickening spray & shampoo is almost always out of stock. Well, okay... That, and my customer rewards discount does not apply to B&b. Oh well. Besides B&b, you'll find pretty much every other salon brand available here. The girls are helpful in suggesting alternatives and are not pushy with sales. I think most people, like myself, go in here already knowing what to get. Other perk?
