My wife and I were about to put our house up for sale and started researching companies that could do a termite inspection. We wanted to use a company that was ecofriendly. After calling several companies we talked with Planet Orange and found them to be very pleasant and responsive. Once we explained our situation, they set up an inspection. Andrew Hernandez came to our house and spent a lot of time doing a thorough inspection. He came on time and was very respectful of our property. Well, we didn't have termites but, apparently, a cat had been living under our house. We were amazed at the honesty because they could have told us that termites were destroying our house and we wouldn't have known otherwise. They took care of our cat problem by sealing our foundation vents. In all the service was honest, fair and reasonably priced. All of our questions were answered and we will call them again in a heartbeat if needed. It's nice to know that a family run business can be so professional leading to excellent results. read more

Warning on Warranty: Min 2 to 3 weeks on return calls. This company does not have enough service people to support their customer base. I discovered I had termites over the summer. I got several quotes and decided to go with Planet Orange because the guy that came out was nice and the company offered a warranty. In Nov, I called the company because termites were coming out of my vents. Flying around in all rooms of my house. I had to close all of my vents and seal them with plastic wrap. I'm not able to use central heat. I had wait 2 weeks for them to come out to evaluate the situation and another week for a crew to come and resolve the issue. This company lacks a sense of urgency and their customers have to pay the price for their lack of staff. Disappointing read more

After my review, I promptly received a message and a phone call from a manager. They thoroughly heard my problems and talked about possible solutions. With their prompt service, I am willing to give this place another try. Unfortunately it took such a disaster to get to this point. I had spoken to 2 people prior to speaking to the manager. 2 people who really just weren't trained properly and gave me incorrect information which escalated quickly. The first gentleman I spoke to gave me the wrong dates. The second woman I spoke to gave me a very vague description of the services we were supposed to be receiving. So to clear this up for anyone wondering: - Their new 2018 policy is to call you 3 days before your scheduled appointment. (The past was just 1 day before) The calendar notification list was not ever followed through because it was too difficult for them to maintain. If they had sent out a mass email to their customers in the beginning of 2018 with their new and "improved" updates, a lot could have been avoided. I appreciate that they don't over flood our inboxes, but I feel like changes in their terms & policies is an exception. - If you had a quarterly service like I did, the interior is upon request only. I was mostly upset because we had an ant infestation right after our last treatment. Had I known that interior was included upon request, I would have requested it since ants are particularly busy in the winter time for us! We did get through it with some store bought traps and some borax, but a lot of trouble could have been saved with visit. - If you see problem areas in your house that need extra care, REQUEST IT. Such as particular places where you've noticed webs/nests. Problem areas in the past. We recently put up a new shed that's pretty large and haven't had the time to put chicken wire around the foundation to keep it safe, so I requested to make sure it was serviced as well. We pay a pretty penny for our service so making sure no stone is unturned is upon your discretion. Try creating a list as you see it on your phone so that you can address it for your next visit. We had a supervisor come to do our inspection today. Hubs has seen this gentleman before, and remembered him because of his thorough service. I was really appreciative of Planet Orange for sending him out. I was waiting until after today's service to decide if we wanted to continue. With another little one on the way, keeping the home safe is our number one priority. It's easy to buy the stuff yourself, but I have a better peace of mind when we are on a scheduled service so you don't slip up. read more

We have hired Planet orange since 2014, we like it because it uses organic chemicals, we didn't have to leave the house, and our experience was great. We had the treatment when we bought the house back in 2014, at that time the inspection report said the house had termite activity and fumigation was recommended. We hired planet orange and they said it was old activity and no treatment required. That saved us big bucks! Then, I accidentally found termite activity in 2018 and called them up again, it was a quick fix, and purchased their warranty package the year after and had them did inspection again in 2022 when we sell our home. There were only two spot found in the house that needed little attention, much easier than having the house go through fumigation, our house was in good shape under their warranty, and I don't see why I have to go through so much hassle to fumigate the house when spot treatment works. I would definitely recommend their service to my friends, so far we use them since 2013 like I mentioned, then 2019 for my in law's rental property, and our new home. This review is based on service performed 3 years ago on May 2, 2016. Long overdue however, when better to provide a full review than a few years into the future, right? As my rating shows, then as it is now... 5 Stars. Based on online reviews, I contacted Planet Orange to inspect a number of strange fluffy dust circles that were appearing daily on the surface of Wood Flooring in my Living Room. The Planet Orange technician arrived on time, inspected the area and the dust circles. He showed me the pin holes and path of tunneling within the flooring plank and explained that these were caused by Wood Boring Beatles. Based on the size of the area and limits within a couple planks, it was easily controllable and they could address by treating the immediate area. There was no servicing vehicle in the area this day and they scheduled an appointment for the next day. Again, the technicians arrived on time, pressure injected the area with their treatment, used a compound to fill the holes that they were able to identify. I have not seen any sign since! The interaction and service was professional throughout the process, from the moment their service operator / scheduler answered the phone to the time they left my home after the treatment. It's been all downhill after our initial sales call. During the sales process -- we bought a contract with monthly service for 12 months -- everything was great. The reps were responsive, detail orientated, and committed. Ever since taking our money, we can't get anyone to respond to emails or phone calls (it takes 3-5 calls/emails to get a response); scheduling is difficult; one person was rude on the phone; the techs show up late; and the reps rush through the job instead of paying attention to what's needed. Oh, and we are newly infested with bugs of several types. I used Planet Orange years ago for an issue, and was impressed. That's why I came back. This second time around has been a huge mistake, and when our contract is up, we won't be coming back. read more

My real estate agent recommended me to get a quote from Planet Orange after we close escrow and to compare with the inspection report we got from the seller. Making an appointment for the inspector to come do the free inspection is easy. The inspector came on time and we got the report fast(next day). After reading all the reviews here, I've decided to ask them if they can give discount if I agree to do the job right away. This is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 5. The sales lady replied to my email and said if I can do the job the next day, she's willing to give $100 off. I told her I can't do that because we are currently doing a construction, but I can sign an agreement to have them come in and do the work after the construction is done. So we set up a time, she sent me some documents to sign. I thought since she sends all the documents and we've set up a time, the $100 discount would apply. Fortunately I checked with her to confirm that she will honor the discount and she came back telling me that she can only offer $50 for that date. This was really a turn-off for me, not because of the $50, but the way they are trying to trick you! I told her no, thank you and that I will not do the job if that's the case. She immediately replied back and said ok, she'll do $100 off!!!! THAT IS SO SHADY!!! I was ready to just tell her no, but my husband reminded me that if we get another inspection from a different company, it will delay our moving date even more. So I signed the contract. After that she never followed up at all. She didn't even give information on how to pay and never responded to my email. I had to call twice(they hung up on me once) to confirm that the job is still happening! The 2 people who came to my house and did the job were very nice and professional. They even helped me reach out to their office to do the payment over the phone. They explained how the 2 years warranty work as well. Planet Orange did a very professional job for us recently, treating the drywood and subterranean termite infestations in our house. I requested free inspections from three termite companies. Planet Orange made a much lengthier and more thorough inspection than the other two companies - the very excellent Jo Lopez and his partner spent 2 1/4 hours checking every accessible part of the house - including both attics and the underfloor area. The result was that they found considerably more infestations than the other two companies, who sent only one inspector, who stayed only about one hour. Planet Orange's price was competitive with the other two bids, so we had no trouble selecting them for the work. The crew who did the actual treatment arrived on time, took great care not to bring any dust or dirt into the house from the underfloor work. They cleaned up any mess they made (drilling holes etc.) and filled those holes after the treatment was finished. Great job, guys! read more

I had service from Planet Orange and was incorrectly charged (to their benefit). Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. I sent our my hate notice with non-offensive words but relayed my 'discontent'. I got a phone call hours later with a promise to fix. A week later, the over-charge came to me in the form of a check. The owner was beyond apologetic and the error was a mistake on their part but they did all they could to rectify the error. On their part, they did their job well and competently. The service guy was very good. Expect a follow up call offering construction repairs though their was not any work to be done after the service. read more

After doing so, I then didn't hear from them until 2 weeks later asking me if they can do anything to help. No email. No phone call. No thank you. I scheduled an 8:30 appointment with this company. At 8:45 I called to ask where their person was. I was told that he was "delayed due to traffic, probably school traffic." I was told that he could make it between 10:00 and 10:30. This sounded fishy to me. Traffic does not cause a 2 hour delay, and if there is traffic, I could have been called beforehand to be notified. 5 minutes later, I got a call from their agent who said that he had called me to let me know of the delay and had left a voicemail. There was no voicemail nor no call received from him. 5 minutes is just the amount of time it would take for their office to call and speak to this guy and to have him call me. Sounds fishy to me. The guy said that he could make it between 10:30 and 11:30 because he was coming from Daly City and had an appointment in San Francisco first. This was, perhaps, the only believable thing I heard from Planet Orange all morning. Thankfully, their business ethics became apparent well before I considered doing business with them. read more

They called back later and they said they moved things around for the following week. I was very pleased, but a day later got a call from the scheduling department saying there was a cancellation on the day and time of the appointment I was offered. I have yet to see if their work is 5 star worthy but these five stars are just for the fact that Armando thought he smelled a gas leak in my yard as he was walking through and advised me to call pge. I had always thought the faint odd smell was from the dirt/fertilizer since it has always been like that since i bought the house a year ago, but turns out there was a significant leak from the gas pipe running underground. This company has gone down hill. I don't know who runs or manages this place but it's poorly done. If you can get a technician out then great! Most of the technicians do a great job But....... The people in the accounting department & Scheduling DO NOT COMMUNICATE to each other thus causing a headache for me (the customer). I have been a customer for 3 years, receiving monthly and I just canceled my service with Planet Orange. All for $59. Long story short a technician came out and supposedly "treated my home" back in August. We were out of the country and my home did not get serviced. I explained that to Planet Orange (Sandra in scheduling) many times, over 5 different phone calls, that I was not even home and I would not be paying for a service I NEVER received. I know Sandra worked with her supervisor to explain the situation. Sandra eventually told me they would remove that charge. Well 3 months later the accounting department keeps sending me a statement of this past due charge on my account. Planet Orange does not care about long term customers, because if they did they would not keep trying to collect $59 for a service they need did. I stuck around with this company even when they were short staffed and no one would show up to my house for months. They had so much turnover 2 years ago and they knew it. I had people calling me thanking me for staying with them after all their BS. Now I'm moving on and looking for a new pest control company who actually gives a damn! First I had a problem with customer service insisting that a walkthrough of the entire home would need to be done for a termite inspection. I posted a poor Yelp review and the manager contacted me to clear this up. When the inspector came he was polite and respectful of my home (for these two reasons only, I'm giving this two stars instead of one). The inspector found subterranean termites, which is not a surprise for this house. I got a second opinion the next week from another company with an inspection finding of drywood termites. I immediately had another inspection from a third company to confirm that the drywood termites are definitely prevalent. Both took pictures, no mistaking. It's surprising that Planet Orange's inspector missed it. Also I had them all check the attic for possibility of rats, and Planet Orange tech said it was fine, clean. Subsequent inspections from the other companies found definite evidence of rat invasion. Also I'll add that Planet Orange charges way more than the other companies for subterranean termite abatement. It seems that at least one of Planet Orange's inspectors and another in customer service needs more training. read more

Planet Orange treated our home for ants and termites last summer. I was pleased with the work and they abated the insects. This week we had another ant infestation and Sophia Rodriguez came out to inspect our property. She was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient; I was amazed at her eye for detail. She pointed out areas of outside infestation where I can improve the situation by pruning a tree close to our home and treating our apricot tree for white flies (white flies, aphids, and scale attract ants). I hadn't treated the tree because of nesting birds, but they are gone now so will follow up. Also that I should remove some mulch close to the house as ants love mulch. She treated all these areas while being mindful of my concern that beneficial insects not be harmed if possible and kept the treatment away from our fish pond. She also advised how to keep rats out of our garage. Overall, I am once again pleased with the Plant Orange experience and will call them again - and, specifically, request Sophia - if we experience another problem. read more

UPDATE3: Ok this is it. This is the 3rd contact via phone or email to do the free yearly go through - I call them back or write them back a few days later and don't get a call back for a week or a few weeks. This is the last time I am going around trying to get the yearly complimentary follow up. So Stop Emailing or Calling me and asking me if I want to schedule it if you aren't actually going to give me times when you can come - so I can say yes. Every time I drive by your store on Bascom I feel like arghhh! What a way to run a business. What a thing to green wash. All those beautiful new trucks in front of their place with their pretty orange logo. If only it worked on subterranean and if only they had better business practices. __________________________________________ UPDATE2: They replaced the 2 pieces of wood and painted primer over them and a complimentary corner was replaced... but they have not come back for the annual re-spray like they said they would. Will wait more month and that's it - I am finished trying to correct this. The holes around the window remain with the wood plank siding that they were made in... ____________________________________________ UPDATE1: Nathan the owner, who is actually quite polite and affable, finally came out to take a look with his inspector and their Carpenter. They are going to replace 4 pieces of wood. He said that when they drill the holes they feel whether there are termite galleries by how the drill goes through the wood. Well I wasn't there to watch them drill to see it happen but I am convinced that I should have been there when they were here to help ID what was needed and going on. Basic lesson learned there. The other lesson learned the hard way - my husband and I are just cringing over the fact - we should have gotten the house TENTED with the chemical insecticides! The house hasn't been done in a couple decades. Then maybe used P O for maintenance yearly. Now we have moved in and all our stuff is here - tenting makes the whole chemical tox to us a zillion times worse! To bad they can't tent with the Orange Oil but then again it only kills dry rot termites not the subterranean (or some other destructive insects according to a UC Davis study I was told about). Will Update/Edit again this review again all is said and done. They could have sprayed in the pockets between the beams from the inside. They could have done it from the outside with very few holes. Other termite companies actually replace the wood. $1700 of our money and did ineffectual work. I had called and asked someone to come and look at what their people did. I just got these bland answers and played phone tag. I am tired of it I am writing this review to warn others. . The people I originally talked to - who were very nice - do not seem to work there anymore. They seem to have a high turn over. My father-in-law who is contractor/drafts person, was here when they came because I could not be. He said they were "disturbingly swift" to work and leave. He said they touted how much the orange oil cost. Well the chemicals used at the regular termite exterminators are as much or more expensive and they have to be careful with how they use it. Since orange oil is less toxic this company's profit margins must be huge. agrhhh! I really wanted to go less toxic for the environment and human safety but this company is at the Neanderthal stage. When I saw a pile of what looked like coffee grind mixed in with sand underneath my bed one afternoon, I knew something was amiss. I vacuumed it up and tried not to think anything of it until the same pile appeared again a week later doing my usual cleaning routine. Yikes. My OCD self knew that this coffee grind looking pile couldn't be coming from me since I don't ever eat in my room. I checked my cherry wood bed frame to see that it wasn't coming from there either. I had a sneaking suspicion that it could be termites and thanks to my Google detective skills, I was absolutely right. Coffee Grind+Sand= Termite Droppings (Gross). Enter Planet Orange. I called to schedule an appointment for an inspection and these guys were on top of it from the start. Josh and his father Steve came out and told me that they would have to treat my termites from inside my bedroom and outside in the water closet. Unbeknownst to me, there were several identical coffee grind piles in there too. How dare these termites have non stop party buffet chomping on the wooden frame that holds my house together! And to top it all off, leave all their poop bits for us to have to clean up? The nerve. After meeting Josh and Steve, I spoke with Thaddaeus who is one of the senior sales executives at Planet Orange. Thad (for short) was able to put together my work order invoice and made the process of booking my service appointment speedy and efficient. They require a 10% deposit before they actually come and an "electronic" signature that you fill out over emails. On the day of my service, I had the pleasure of meeting Jaime Rios and Armando Vaz. I'll call these guys my termite busters (bonus points if you get the ghostbusters reference--- the dork in me just came out). First off, they were punctual. My appointment was for 8:30am, and they showed up right on time. Since I have a shoes off household, they had no problem wearing booties going in and out of the house. They explained the steps they were going to take in their process. I was a little freaked out that they would have to be drilling several holes in my bedroom wall in order to inject the chemicals for the termites. It turns out that my worries were really for nothing because the holes were too small for me to even notice. Jaime and Armando were respectful and courteous and didn't mind that I played my loud music the entire time. At the end of their job, they vacuumed up the mess and put my bed frame back where it was supposed to be. It was almost like they weren't even here. Armando also mentioned that I should call for an inspection a year from the date of service so that they could come out again to check for any new activity. Jennifer Buchanan from customer service called me the following day for a phone survey asking me how my experience went with Planet Orange. I told her that I couldn't be more pleased. Also, when I spoke with Thad again about having to email my HOA about a breakdown of services, he was more than happy to do that for me. Great job Planet Orange- I would highly recommend you guys to anyone needing termite services. Since there's a 2 year guarantee, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for those coffee grind looking bits around my place. You can bet that if I see them, I will be calling! read more

Don't ask me why but we gave these guys another shot. I think it was because I was having problems finding another natural company to get rid of our critter problem. Even though the guy (a different one than last time, but unfortunately I can't remember his name) showed up at 10:05 for his 9-10am window he did a thorough job. Without me even asking he took his shoes off before going on my carpet. I cannot tell you guys how much I appreciate that since my carpet is really lightly colored! Then after surveying the inside and outside of our home he determined that we don't have a termite problem and that the infestation a month ago was a freak, isolated incident. He told us to check back if there are any further issues, but today's inspection was free. Free inspection and I don't have termites... Sweet! read more

It's hard to review this company, because they never showed up. I called after hours and left a detailed message. They did respond the next morning -- they called while I was on another line. When I returned their call less than 2 minutes later, nobody answered the phone. I had to leave another message. When they didn't call back within 6 hours, I called them again and spoke to a man named Ray who asked me for the same information maybe 3 times. He seemed frustrated -- turns out he assumed I was a prior customer, and couldn't find any record of my non-existent account, which flustered him. He was nice enough to set us up with a 5 pm appointment today. As I write this, it's about 6:40 pm; they did not respond to the 2 phone calls I made trying to find out if they were actually coming out. Long story short, I called them again and told them not to bother. If I can't depend on them to even return a phone call, I'm not willing to trust them with something really important, like eradicating a termite problem. read more

Termite infestation is stressful. But Planet Orange helped put me at ease.Their employees are friendly and knowledgable, their prices are reasonable, and their services are EFFECTIVE! When I called, the person that answered the phone was extremely friendly and actually had answers to the questions I asked. Making an appointment was easy. I have a bizarre work schedule, but they worked with me to find a time that was most convenient. And on the day of my appointment, they showed up right on time. I was embarrassed at the condition of my basement, but they didn't make me feel that having a termite problem was somehow my fault or something to be ashamed of. They didn't castigate me for not having "dealt with it sooner." I was worried that the products used to kill the termites might be harmful to me or my family. But after looking into the kind of methods they use, I was relieved to know their products are environmentally safe. After all was said and done, I was extremely satisfied with the work. The most important thing: no more termites!!! I would say I would use them again if I ever had a termite problem, but I have a feeling their services were so effective that I won't need to call them back. read more

With the hot weather upon us, I began to see ants in my home. Like all of us, I turned to Yelp for a reputable Pest Control provider. With the glowing reviews, I decided on Planet Orange, in San Jose. I called to schedule an appointment and was transferred to a voicemail. Left a voicemail and didn't hear back for 36 hours and decided to call back. (Strike 1) Again, left another voicemail. Finally, later that day, I received a call-back. Went over my concerns, options and packages. Decided on a 1-time visit, with a complementary revisit, if we continue to see ants. A service agreement was sent to me, I signed and returned ASAP. After payment was rendered, I was contacted by a coordinator. Scheduled for Monday, 1-3pm. 10 minutes later, they call back and ask to reschedule to 3-5pm. A bit frustrating as I already arranged for someone to be home during that earlier timeframe. (Strike 2) Fast forward to "service day", Monday. @ 5pm, no-show, no-call. (Strike 3) I called their main line and get an automated system. Noting they close at 5pm and to leave a voicemail. Needless to say, at this point, I'm extremely frustrated. I left a voicemail, followed by emailing George, who facilitated the service contract. The next morning, I get a call from the technician, who missed Monday's appointment. He mentioned that he couldn't find my address in his GPS and the number he had was incorrect. I call "BULL SHIT", but at this point, I need someone to attempt to address my ant problem. He noted, he would be at my home between 2-4pm. He arrived by 2:45pm and began his service. Took care of the interior first, and then the exterior. He was in/out in 15-20 minutes. Mind you, he left without saying a word and left no paperwork. With this type of service, at the least, I would expect a brochure on what do's/do-nots, for the next few days. As well as when to call for a revisit. NOTHING. The following day, Wednesday, I continued to see ants, in all the normal places. I emailed my 2 contacts, Noreen Salas & George Mamashiani @ Planet Orange. Asking about do's/do-nots and if I can schedule a revisit. 48 hours later, no response. (Strike 4). Quick to take my money but lacking follow through. Buyers beware. read more

Okay, so we got termites swarm a month ago - which equals to pretty much that we were in a rather foul but deperated mood. But enough for the psychoanalysis. We contacted about 6 different companies - 4 orange oil, 2 traditionals. Anyway, this inspector comes in.. seem very professional - checked everything... and then our bedrooms. Which kinda creepy considered none of the inspectors we asked did anything remotely like that - they only goes into the artic and crawlspace... but not in the rooms. But I guess he might had spotted my labtop in my bedroom... which was sitting next to my Ruger gun bag, my other rifle cases and my ammo can... as well as the boxes of American Eagles ammo openly sitting in my room's bookcase. Yeah, he bug out of my room rather quickly. After his tour of our home, he then showed us their service prices.... which in a way seem like dealing with an used car saleman. (buy in today and you get this discount! but only today!!! act now!!!) He also told us, we have a nice home... oh yeah? that's before or after you waltz into our bedrooms? All in all - the mate's actions make me questioned about his intentions more then his professionalism. And yeah, we also never got a written report... so we can't really tell what they know or saw. So did we end up used this company for termite treatment - well, does soured milk taste like pumpkin pie? Let just ponder on that one... ..Mean while, let me check just the reviews on home sercuity webcams...... UPDATE to PO @ 2014 - Please stop calling me. There was nothing your company could offer to "make it up" to us. Our issues were solved by another group in the end. Beside this was 4 YEARS ago! Had some termite problem localize in 1 room. Called planet orange because they are an environmentally conscious company. Estimator told me price and what service I will get. "Comes with a 2 year guarantee and we will come back annually to check for you." Service guys were great! Came, did their job and told me lots of info, thus 2 Stars and not 1 star. End of year one, no return call for annual check up. I called and left a message as well as an email. Allegedly, they said they called back. Year 2 ends and no call back. Just recently, a planet orange salesperson called to see if I would like to extend my warranty. I ask how come they didn't come by the other 2 years to re-evaluate my house? She said it was MY responsibility to call planet orange and have that done not their's. Observation: You have time and energy calling to sell me on more warranty but don't have the time to call and service my warranty? read more

They have provided us service for over two years. pretty much took care of the subterranean stuff, but come to find out we are horribly infested with termites in the rafters and they spent the last two months simply not getting back to us. We have a new company, and NOW we are free of termites. read more

Horrible service! What's the point of giving me and appointment and arrived an hour late. Had them spray our subterranean area for termites and told us that it will kill every termites within 3-4 weeks. Well that time has pass and we discover new termite tubes so we call and they send out an "inspector" to inspect the tube and he spend 15mins walking around and come back with "don't worry this is normal" just wait another week another week. Well two week has passes and the tubes is still there. Called them and they told me they will send another inspector to check and then order a new spray. So what was the second for? I wouldn't recommend planet orange to anybody. Unless they get their procedures straighten out. I really hate business's that are tardy. read more

I am disappointed by how Planet Orange sold me an expensive 3 year warranty service that didn't meet my expectations. Their rep told us if we sign up for the 3 year warranty (~$3,000) they would visit us every year and spray the house. I clearly told him I was interested in doing this preemptively and having the house treated every year. He didn't tell me then that this was not how they would operate. We paid the $3,000 and had them inspect the house and they sprayed in the garage (additional cost for the roof wood treatment), in the crawl space, and in one area outside the house they thought was high potential for termite damage. We called them the year after to have them come again and spray the perimeter of the house but they told us that they would inspect the house and only treat if there was termite damage. My entire reasoning for signing up for the 3 year warranty was because I wanted to treat the house preemptively every year. If I wanted to wait for termite damage, have Planet Orange visit and inspect, and then treat after the fact I would have paid much less and had them treat our house only once. I feel tricked by how their rep unnecessarily sold me a much more expensive solution. read more

Ho. Ho. Ho. One the first day of Christmas planet orange gave me a great free inspection. In the second day of Christmas planet orange gave me two great treatment guys to get rid of my termites. On the third day of Christmas planet orange gave me a three year warranty for my entire home. On the forth day of Christmas planet orange gave me piece of mind and not needing to move out of my he to kill twrmitez. I am very pleased with the process from start to finish. A quality company who bends over backwards to ensure customers come first. read more

I initially rated Planet Orange 1 star - now updated to 5 stars. Here's why: I called for a "dead rat in the attic and plug up the holes" service. The tech arrived, stated he couldn't solve the issue due to roof disrepair, blown-in insulation and difficulties getting around the attic - and left without doing anything. I called Planet Orange headquarters to understand the situation better, but they just reiterated the hardships, returned their fee in full, and said good luck. I immediately left a 1 star review on Yelp, and went back to square one looking for help elsewhere. One hour later, the Director of Operations gives me a call based on what he heard from the employees I spoke to as well as the Yelp review. He apologizes for the way they handled things, sends his guy right back to the house along with his Service Manager and they get the job done. While Planet Orange didn't start out great for me, what impressed me was the speed in which they recovered, got back my business and handled the issue. They made right on something a customer thought was wrong - and that is a company and the type of people you want to work with. As of this review there are 245 reviews with an average of 4.5 stars - there is a reason why almost all of us recommend Planet Orange. read more

We engaged Planet Orange through Angie's List based on a deal they advertise. We asked them to come out to deal with our spider situation (LOTS of spiders). The initial visit was fantastic and the technician was early to arrive, extremely professional and friendly and even made sure I would be okay with the smell of the spray, as I was pregnant at the time. The best part of receiving this initial treatment was that we were allowed to have Planet Orange come back within 30 days for a re-spray if we were still seeing spiders. We were still seeing some here and there, so had another technician come out for a re-spray. The technician, Rudy, was again extremely professional and took the time to explain why we get a lot of spiders (based on where we live) and even set out sticky spider traps in our house free of charge. Since the second treatment, I have seen one spider and it has been well over one month. I would definitely recommend Planet Orange, especially as their treatments are non-toxic and safe for children and pets. read more
