I love the team and service here at Planet Pizza, always so great to chat with them and they have such a variety of things on the menu. I tend to grab slices for a quick dinner, but definitely have tried their pastas, soups, and paninis on occasion. Great staple in Greenwood Lake. They did a revamp inside so it's been spruced up. I've been searching for a spot around here that could make a proper Jersey-style Italian chicken sandwich--and Planet Pizza nailed it. Fried chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, baby spinach, balsamic glaze, and a touch of mayo... it was perfect. I devoured it and already want another just thinking about it. As someone who grew up in NJ, it really felt like a taste of home. I have to say.. PP really recovered over the years (especially since my last terrible review). Their menu is more extensive and honestly, everything I've tried since, was delicious and fresh. The soups are my favorite in town (homemade and DELICIOUS). The owners/managers are super friendly and genuinely care about their staff and the food that's being put out. I also love that their delivery is available electronically through Slice and DoorDash. I also must add that I'm a wing junky. I used to hate the wings but ever since they serve them without the breading, they are delish! Everything is looking up for PP! read more

The go to place for us when we are in Greenwood Lake, seeing as how we lived there at one time, you have your favorite spots. After this last visit we were sad to see that so many placed enjoyed in the past are now closed, but not Planet Pizza thank goodness. They have everything from soups and salads to wings and full entrees, wraps and sandwiches--- But its the pizza that I really like. extra crispy crust , the sauce has enough spice and is not plain or tasteless. Walked into today Independence Day to grab 2 quick slices to go.while the pizza maker was making pizzas and handling various ingredients he took a phone call for an order,typed on the computer screen with his fingers and used the computer keyboard then continued to make the pizza without washing his dirty hands.I wouldn't usually make a comment to him but it was so nasty I told him what he is doing is disgusting and wrong and to throw my pizza in the garbage.place is nasty I will never eat there again and I wouldn't recommend it to a dog. read more

If i could rate this place zero stars i would. I went here on a Sunday evening and their selection was below average. They didn't even have plain available. I got a buffalo slice that was somehow sweet? Yes. The buffalo sauce was sweet and tangy not spicy or traditional buffalo at all. There were globs of blue cheese dressing, if that's even what it really was. On top of that it wasn't even hot! Barely even warm! For $4 i thought this was going to be mediocre pizza at best but i was sadly mistaken. I would never come here again nor would i recommend anyone to this restaurant. read more

The absolute worst food I think I ever had. I got a plate is mushy pasta in dirty pasta water they call sauce. We also had a gyro wrap that was 1 slice of spoiled meat and the sauce was rancid. We just tossed it outside for the raccoons to eat. I actually feel sad to give to them. read more

I ate here a few weeks ago and I feel I have to update my review. I ordered a buffalo chicken slice as I have many times in the past. I watched the person taking my order go and take out a bottle of bleu cheese dressing and pour it all oer my slice. I found the buffalo sauce lacking and way too much bleu cheese dressing on this slice which made it almost inedible. I know this place has gone through some personel changes and it shows--- for the worse. I will still come back to try it again because they deserve another chance and I like to support my local businesses. I hope my next outing to this place is better. read more

Their Pizza used to be very good, however now. Their Pizza is very sloppy dough doesn't feel like it's probably made and not cooked well. They said they haven't changed chefs and still the same dough they been using but I've tried this to this pizza two weeks in a row. Even a thin crust pie is firmer in the middle. This is a shame. There calzones are still good. I hope they read this message so that they can improve their Pizza as they are close to my area and like to buy from them again. read more

Long over due review. There was a snow storm about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Called several places to have food delivered and none could do so. Then Planet pizza came through. Had the lovely Jessica take our order and delivered the goods. We had a few items from the menu. I believe 2 large pizzas, ravioli, lasagna, and dessert(brownies and cannolis). Very limited pizza choices in Greenwood Lake, so we decided to stop in to try out Planet Pizza, have a plain slice, a veggie slice, and some soda... For us, this is a new low in pizza taste...gobs and gobs of greasy thick yucky cheap cheese, missing quality tomato sauce, and had a cardboard bland crust ( the plain slice)., The so called 'veggie slice' had no recognizable veggies, some strange 'white cheese' mixed in with the 'yellow gooey greasy cheese' and a garlic taste that would not go away for 6 hours...yuck!
