The spices, the flavors, the perfectly crisp coating, the toppings, you name it, this chicken is it. Order online and it's ready for you quickly so you can get it all over you in the car if you want. Service is always impeccable and if you choose to eat at the restaurant, it's an absolutely lovely spot.

One of the best restaurants in Detroit and one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. This…read moreis thanks to the chef and owner Chef Omar, who is a fantastic human. The restaurant is easy to miss, located on a main road. They do have a small free parking lot. The interior is small, intimate, casual, and unpretentious. At my second visit (my first was several years ago when it first opened) my friend and I came late in the afternoon on a Friday. I'm not sure if we came at a slow time (we were initially the first customers there) or that the Chef was training a new service, but we received VIP treatment. I've occasionally had chefs check in, I've never had service from the chef before! He discussed the menu, as well as his intention for the restaurant. I love Moroccan tea, and the tea service they provide is just lovely. He is certified in tea, and incredibly knowledgeable. My friend and I started with the mudammas fava bean dip, served with pita chips. This was so fantastic I would return just for it. Creamy, just the right balance of flavor, topped with fresh veggies to add texture, I cannot say enough good things. I had the lamb tagine, and she had the kafta meatball batbout. The meatball is listed as a sandwich, it is in house made flatbread. Both dishes were amazing, so fresh and flavorful. The lamb shank was fall off the bone, the couscous was loaded with fresh vegetables. I ended up stopping in for lunch again by myself. I had the harissa potatoes and the flava bean soup, and a slice of pie that was a special. Everything again was fantastic, but it's the potatoes that you will crave after having once. Crispy and brightly flavored, soft once you bit in. I was able to try one of the Chef's teas, and hear a bit more about the restaurant. While the bread for the meatball batbout is made in house, the bread for the fish and chicken sandwiches he obtains locally. I like how engaged he, and the restaurant as a result, is with the community. Chef Omar treats all of his customers as welcomed friends. A quick note that the restaurant does not have any alcohol. They offer alcohol free wine and other beverages. Be aware of this, but do not let it deter you!

It's always a challenge getting a few people to agree on what to do for lunch so when my neighbor…read morein the cube farm suggested getting a salad today, the "lunch bunch" walked to 7 Greens today. We arrived smack in the middle of the lunch rush with a queue out to the door but it did move quickly. The menu board has some suggestions for their pre-designed salads, bowls, burritos and smoothies. Or you can "build your own" on the fly and like Subway and Chipotle (but way better!), they add the ingredients as it goes down the line. I decided to stick with the "Kare Bear" - Romaine base with BBQ chicken, hard-boiled egg, bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and red onion with their ranch sauce. It sounds like a Cobb Salad to me. I watched the young lady assemble the ingredients and toss it together then pour it into a cardboard bowl. $15.25 plus tax. Remember to grab a fork if you don't already have one at your desk. It was a bit too busy to eat in today and it was a bit too warm to sit outside. So we brought it back to the office where I demolished this huge and delicious salad. It's not cheap but it is fresh and it feels healthy. I would absolutely choose 7 Greens again for lunch. Felt homie which we loved. Small parking lot as well. We arrived about 20 mins after opening. This place can get busy /packed fast but is worth the wait! Food: we ordered the Packard pepperoni pizza- it was delicious, with a great balance between sweet (from the hot honey) to savory. The dough, sauce, and toppings were well balanced, fresh, portioned.

Parking is extremely limited they maybe have 5 spots available excluding pickup but there is parking of street parking around so don't worry. Seating is also extremely limited, we ended up sitting outside on one of their outside benches but the weather wasn't too bad. They also serve you plates and water if you sit outside. It took about 20-30min wait for our pizza. We got the packard pepperoni to share. It sure does pack a punch of heat/spice with the chilies. The honey balance it out well though so don't be too scared. The bread/dough was very fluffy and the cheese crust was crunchy and delicious! Definitely very bread heavy in general but I think this place does it well. Overall decent pizza but I think I prefer a thin slice over Detroit style.

We were fine with that. 2 hours later we asked for our bill and went elsewhere for dinner. The really sad part was the attitude of the bartender last night. We suggested that they give us a free drink while we waited. We spent 125.51 on drinks. The waitress was very gracious but told us that the manager who never showed his face once said we could have a free dessert. We are fully capable of paying for our entire meal should it happen to be presented in a timely manner or with some amount of grace. I did not get the bartender's name but she is not a great example for your staff nor your customers. She seemed like she was doing us a favour and had an attitude all night.

We walked in and the server came up and let us know we could sit anywhere, we chose the patio, because it was a nice cool evening. We were immediately given menus to browse through. They're like an Irish style kind of pub with a good selection of beers on tap. My boyfriend and his dad both chose the Harp Lager, I chose a diet pepsi, I don't drink beer. We browsed the menu and we started with the Beer Battered Pickles and the Crispy Mozzarella and for our main entree's I chose the Panko Chicken Club and my boyfriend and his dad both got the fish & chips. Not long after we ordered our appetizers came out hot! The Crispy Mozzarella sticks were amazing and the beer battered pickles were crunchy with a crisp, and came with a horseradish type dipping sauce while the mozzarella sticks came with ranch and marinara. Our meals came not too long after that. I had ordered a side Caesar salad with mine instead of fries and the salad was delicious, the only thing I didn't like were the capers, and my sandwich was huge, crispy and delicious I saved half for tomorrow. I was told the fish & chips were delicious, with a house made tartar sauce, and the fries were crispy. Overall experience was great, our server was great, checked up on us asked us how our meal was, if we needed anything, and after we were done asked us if we wanted more beer or dessert, which we kindly declined; we were full. The patio was cool, and inside when we were leaving they were getting ready to play live music. I'll be coming back here as this restaurant is also close to home!
