They removed the old carpet and found out from the office it would be $588 more. Well now I'm stuck with no floor. That much extra cost for an extra hour of work? Called the Home Depot complaint line twice and was told I have to deal with the store. Called me back once with voicemail. Called them back and was told they would check. Been over a week with no contact. Probably won't by any flooring products from them again.

Purchased 7 boxes of vinyl planks the arrival dates they told me were off by a week. The molding…read morepieces shipped a week after those. I called them to verify they were there at the store when I went to pick them up only five boxes were there. I went home called them a couple days later when they said the other box would ship, they said those boxes were there. I went there to pick them up and those boxes were not there. I had to go back a third time to finally get the boxes when I got there, they had no idea where the packages were and It took an hour for them to find them. They only use one installer for the floor. I had booked the installer they use and had to reschedule the installer for another date. I booked an appointment and on the morning of the appointment the flooring company they contract with canceled. So you're telling me they only have two guys for all of Home Depot to do flooring installs? Plus they couldn't reschedule me for the same day. The entire experience is horrible. Home Depot may offer some deals here and there and products here and there, but their service and their follow-through and customer service is horrendous. The GS flooring company I would not recommend but that's the only flooring company Home Depot uses. So unfortunately now you're stuck they've got your money and you have no recourse at this point. Customer Service has gone down the hill. No one cares about their jobs anymore. They fleece the American public in general. The American people get screwed over by corporations. Then they respond apologizing yada yada yada put some link below for you to fill out a Webform and you can't even click on it to enter any information. It's all a bunch of BS.

    Ollie's Bargain Outlet

I have to admit, I judged Ollie's before I ever walked through the front door…read more When I hear "closeout" or "bargain" store, my mind immediately goes to digging through disorganized mountains of who-knows-what, wondering if I'll find a bargain or just leave needing a tetanus booster. So I walked in expecting one thing...and left wondering why I hadn't shopped here years ago. The store was clean, organized, and packed with recognizable name brands at prices that honestly made me do a double take. Every aisle seemed to have another great find, and instead of feeling like I was on an episode of Storage Wars, I actually enjoyed browsing. The employees were genuinely friendly, smiled, and seemed happy to help. That alone sets Ollie's apart from a lot of retailers these days. And I have to give a shout-out to whoever curates the music. Instead of the usual elevator soundtrack that makes you wonder if time has stopped, it actually made shopping enjoyable. Then I found out they have a 30-day return policy. That completely caught me off guard. I honestly can't remember the last bargain or closeout store I visited that confidently said, "If it doesn't work out, bring it back." Great prices are one thing, but standing behind what you sell says a lot about a company. The biggest surprise wasn't how much money I saved--it was how much confidence I had shopping there. Ollie's doesn't feel like a place that's just trying to move leftover inventory. It feels like a company that genuinely wants customers to come back. Needless to say, they earned a new customer. I can already tell this won't be my last trip.
