I am excited to say that I have found a home at Platinum Entourage! I had been flying home to Northern California to my stylist whom I had been going to for years and is amazing, but I needed someone local for when I was unable to go home for a weekend. After bouncing around from salon to salon after my first year in Vegas and being frustrated with my hair after every fruitless visit, I found Hannah and she blew my mind. First of all, the salon is impressive from the moment you walk in. The decor is amazing, relaxing, trendy, and unique. Todd, the owner, purchased all of the decor pieces, many which are antiques and somehow turned a cross-fit studio into a tranquil, gorgeous salon. I was offered a mimosa upon checking in and was immediately greeted by Hannah and her assistant Kat. Todd and Hannah worked in tandem, listening to my wants, concerns, and suggesting the best process for my hair. I wanted to go super blonde and they developed a plan for my hair. Hannah, Kat, and Todd worked as a team to deliver the best end-product I have received since moving to Las Vegas. My cut turned out fantastic and was exactly what I wanted. My color was the perfect shade of blonde that I had requested. What I love most about this salon is their attention to detail and their goal of perfection. After being shampooed the first time, Todd and Hannah decided my ends could have been a little lighter and put additional foils in my hair. They do not cut corners her and have integrity in their work! Their honesty and quest for perfection was a breath of fresh air. I also loved that they put essential oils in their shampoo station. I requested the lily sent which was very yummy and will be headed to Sprouts to get some for my own shampoo. Also, Hannah offered to style my hair with curls and even taught me how to use the two-inch curler, since I have a smaller wand at home. I am so happy I found Platinum Entourage. Love. Jordan. Enough said. I live in LA and was in Vegas this past weekend for work. I was doing a show at the Mirage and wanted to look my best. The show was Friday night and I had called the salon at The Mirage to see if they could fit me in. They close at 7. I called at 6. They said there wasn't enough time. I quickly googled "best blowout in Vegas" and Platinum Entourage came up. Their prices are right on par as Drybar (my frequent spot at home) so I figured I'd give them a shot. They were able to get me in as a walk-in which was a SCORE on a Friday night. I got Jordan and when she asked me what I wanted to do with my hair, I pointed to her hair and said, "Do that." It was a nice blowout with loose curls. I was really worried about it falling before the show because I have thick hair that sometimes doesn't hold a curl but the products used at this salon REALLY helped the hair look great for the show...and the day after. The location of the salon is in the city, nowhere near The Strip but if you drive into town, it's really about a 15 minute drive (tops) to get there. Honestly, I would recommend taking a taxi there too because honestly, their prices compared to casino prices, you'll still end up paying less. The only stylist I've worked with here is Shantel... she's amazing. Seriously. She really knows how to take care of her clients and give them exactly what they want. I'm a real pain because I have both red and blonde colors in my hair, and she never EVER makes them bleed together. I stopped going to another place in town because they didn't wash out the red well enough and turned my hair pink, but I never have to worry about that with Shantel; she's meticulous, and super super sweet!! I found this salon on Yelp when I was looking for a place to do hair and makeup for my sister's upcoming wedding. We booked a trial run for the bachelorette weekend. One of the bridesmaids and I had makeup done, another bridesmaid had her hair done, and my sister had her hair and makeup done. We were all very impressed with the service and results. The salon is super cute- lots of fun chandeliers everywhere and a cool vibe. Even better was the service; we were greeted as soon as we walked in and offered drinks. We told the receptionist (I'm sorry I don't remember his name) we'd like champagne (it's a bachelorette party, after all!) but didn't get them right away so we figured he got busy with something else. A short time later he comes walking in the door with bottles of champagne; apparently they didn't have any right at the moment so he went to a store and got some for us. We felt a little guilty that he did that but we were also super impressed and got our drank on. Stil, by far, the best thing about this salon was the results. Hannah did my sister's hair after consulting with Todd and it looked great. My sister is very particular about her hair and makeup and she loved the way everything looked. Brandy did our makeup and it lasted all night, through lots of drunkenness and dancing. We are all looking forward to going back for hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. The prices are fantastic and the staff is amazingly talented. There was a steady stream of customers and everyone, not just our group, left the salon looking smoking hot. Todd and his team are a dream. Todd is constantly teaching all of the stylists making sure everyone is top notch. He lives and breathes hair and shows that with every client. When you come in the first time you almost always meet with Todd so he can do a hair consultation to find the best stylist that fits your needs. They are honest about what is possible with your hair and they are reasonable with pricing. I've never seen a bad before and after. They make miracles happen. The salon its self is gorgeous. I even brought my boyfriend there and he was so impressed by how much they listened to what he wanted done and never once questioned him or did what they wanted to do instead of what he asked. Let me just say this place is most definitely worth me logging onto Yelp to tell everyone they must come here. I was referred by a friend of mine who has great hair and color. I made a same-day appointment and Chris took care of me. He was able to get rid of the awful V cut I've had for years and hated but was never able to get my other hairdressers to stop cutting it that way. I have long hair and I am very particular about it. They wash your hair and then add an essential oil of your choice just to make it smell good. I chose grapefruit and it still smells fantastic ( the next day)! I also purchased the hair milk which I recommend. I will definitely be coming back in the near future to have my hair colored. Scheduled an appointment to have my hair and makeup done. Walked in and was amazed at the place. Love the decor and the staff was friendly. My makeup turned out amazing and so did my hair. They put some kind of oil scent in your hair and it makes it smell good until washed out. 11 hours later and I can still get a whiff of the jasmine scent. Makeup was $55 and hair was $35. I began going to Platinum Entourage last fall, on recommendation by a friend. I couldn't be happier with my hair and the service and I will continue to go for all my hair needs, without a doubt. I'd like to preface the review by saying I am incredibly picky about my hair. I search out the best of the best and regularly pay more for my hair than most people probably think is reasonable. That bring said, the prices are incredibly reasonable at Platinum Entourage... And that's not even taking into consideration that the service is way above par. I pay $75 for a haircut that I believe is worth upwards of $200. And let's be honest, you can't expect to get a top notch cut for less than $50, you just can't. The Salon itself is huge and beautiful. They are a blow dry bar and a production studio in addition to just a salon. The decor is modern, warehouse chic and it's a great atmosphere for relaxing. Upon arrival, you are offered a beverage and there are Comfy chairs and couches with a TV to wait in. I personally see shantel, whom I adore so much I almost want to keep her to myself, but really she is amazing and does the best color I've seen in my life. From what I've seen at my times with her, the other stylists are all very skilled, educated, and dedicated. They are always friendly to me and the vibe around the salon is positive and fun. Complimentary aromatherapy is included in your shampoo, as well as mimosas during your appt, does it get better? I have yet to use the makeup/blow-dry bar services offered, but if I am ever in need of a makeover for a night out, I know where to go. Basically, if you're looking for a chop shop 1 hour cut color highlight that costs $50, you should go to cost cutters and call it a day. I chose Angelo because I had read and heard so many good things about him. Angelo did not disappoint me! Angelo has 27 years of experience and he knows what he is doing. Angelo is knowledgeable about hair types and styles that are better suited for those hair types. We have discussed highlighting my hair. I recently got it high lighted before I moved here and it was totally not what I wanted. He knows exactly what I want and how to get the results. Although this salon is probably not child friendly, Angelo was willing to cut my 8 year old daughters hair. Angelo did such a wonderful job. He got towels for her to sit on so she would be tall enough in the chair. This was a chic little boutique salon. I was having a bad day and decided a good wash and blow-dry might brighten my spirits. Boy, was I right! Not only was I impressed with my own hair, but with the hair in the other chairs. The wash was lovely. Even with my hair extensions, I got a gentle head massage with a fragrance of my choosing. New to Vegas and I needed haircut and color. I have curly hair and it is often hit or miss trying to find someone who knows how to cut curly hair. After reading reviews I decided I would budget and treat myself. For the $$$ ($260 with tip) unfortunately not a great cut or color. Part of it was my fault. I never wear my hair straight and decided to let her blow dry and straighten....and it was beautiful... but next day when I wore it as I would normally I was so disappointed. I need to learn to communicate better I guess or find a picture to take with me. I am sure I could have went back for a fix but factoring in time to drive there and so forth....decided to just get a cheap cut closer to home and all is well.
