I have been a customer at Platinum nails for years. I enjoy their spa pedicures and I have my nails dipped every two weeks and painted with gel polish which really lasts. Terrible experience, will never be going here again. First of all, customer service here is the worst I have experienced at any nail salon. I felt super uncomfortable the entire time because my nail tech was so rude and mad. My sister and I went together and her nail tech for her pedicure was also very rude so I don't think I just ended up with one person having a bad day. I showed my nail tech a picture of French tips that I wanted and she told me to find the color that matches. She was mad when it took me more than 10 seconds to pick my color (extremely rushed me to the point that I wanted to ask her several times if she had another place to be). She kept hurting me while filing my nails and was very rough. I pulled my hand away several times in pain. I asked for a round shape, she did not do a good job on that either. Some of my nails are round and some are both round and square (one side round and the other side square). Additionally, she did not clean or prep my cuticles. She told me I was done and the bottoms of my nails were full of residue from the dip. The only time she spoke to me nicely was when she was completely done (after taking the residue off when I told her to) which definitely seemed like she was only now being nice to me for a tip. This is my second bad experience here. I never give bad reviews but I couldn't help myself here. Will not be returning. read more

I dropped by here to try it out since I was in the area. I got seated quickly for a pedicure and the ladies were nice. But once we started the pedicure the technician cut me when she used the drill bit on my toe nails. I'm not even sure why she used it since I had no polish on my toes. She used the foot towel to wipe away the blood. She put my foot back in the bath and the cut was stinging. I asked her for a towel and told her I'm done. She kept cleaning my other foot, and I had to tell her nicely to stop. O asked for a towel to dry my legs and I'm done. She said ok, but then proceeded to tell her coworker in Vietnamese "I only cut her a little bit. Why is she overreacting and not wanting a pedicure anymore." Her coworker's response in a rude tone, "let her go then!" I offered to pay for the products used and they said no need. I contemplated on whether or not to write this, but I feel like I should let consumers know. read more

My friend recommended this place. I booked an appointment at 3pm, I was in the area that day so I just walked in way earlier than my appointment. I wasn't expecting to be seen right away but I did. Tina was the tech who took care of me and she did great!! It wasn't easy to do ombre nails on sush short nails, but she did it. I had to keep my nails short coz of work and she did amazing. I've been coming to this salon for years. They've just remodeled and it has a very professional yet relaxing atmosphere. There are 10 chairs for pedicures and 9 spots for manicures so it's great for large groups. The pedicure chairs massage your back while your feet get worked on. Decided to try out this nail salon that is located next to one of my favorite local Mexican restaurants. I walked in on a Sunday afternoon for a lavender deluxe pedicure for $35. I always bring my own polish and today was no exception. The staff was friendly and the location was clean and tidy and highly organized. I enjoyed the ambiance of the nail salon's pedicure area as it is secluded from the front of the salon where nails are polished and perfected. The nail technicians were friendly and took their time with the service which I appreciate. My favorite was the paraffin foot wax dip along with the massage. So lovely! I wasn't even going to write a review as it seems like a waste of my precious time since I will never be returning to this nail salon. But, I decided I needed to express how horrible my experience was so that no one else goes here to experience the same thing I did. Where do I begin? I made an appt for a full set of nails, and I was optimistic because the salon looked like they had so many options for color and dip powder. I sat down to get my nails done and my nail tech wasn't very friendly, didn't say much and didn't ask me what I wanted. I had to go out of my way to make sure she knew what I was going for. I figured maybe she's just having a bad day and not in a talkative mood... that's fine. Then she started doing my nails and I immediately grew very frustrated. She RUSHED every step of my nails. I could see her constantly glancing at the clock on the wall behind me as if she had somewhere to be. As she glued on my nail tips I noticed some were crooked. Then she asked me how short I wanted them and she cut them all so fast that I was sure they would not all be the same length... they aren't. Then she started on the dip powder and she did that in record time, I mean she could probably hold a Guinness world record for doing nails. I was cringing at how sloppy she was and how fast she was working. I knew these were not going to turn out well. To spare you the long details... once she was done they were horrible. They weren't shaped correctly, there is literally a huge bump on my pointer finger that she didn't sand down. She didn't fill in all the way to the edge of my cuticle. My ombré isn't ombré... at all. And I could go on and on. To top It all off... she was extremely rough with the sanders and nail files and handling my hands and had my twisted up and pulled and pushed in all different directions like I was some rag doll. I have NEVER had a more horrible nail salon experience. 0/10 would definitely not recommend. I gave 1 star because 0 isn't an option unfortunately.
