My favorite nail salon in Elk Grove! I've been going to see Marianne for my nails for years and she always does a fabulous job! I also enjoy treating myself to their spa deluxe pedicure. It is a smaller salon with four nail tech chairs and four pedicure chairs, so I would recommend calling and setting an appointment, however they do accept walk ins! The salon is super cute and quaint and gives it a more of a homey and cozy feel. Definitely recommend! read more

Outstanding service. Before and after Covid-19 everything was clean, neat and orderly. They have always exceeded the minimum expected requirements for services going above and beyond. Marianne has been doing my manis/pedis for the last several years and her pedis are the best. On a personal note, after I went thru chemo my feet and toes were beat up. But she took such good care of them, I finally feel normal again. No one else does my pedi. We have a contest going, I bring in a photo of something I would like done on my nails, I am still trying to make it too hard but she has done everything I have brought in and made it even better. I'm very happy to have found this cute little salon. I did not have an appointment and I had walked into another nail salon a few minutes earlier where I waited about 5 minutes to be greeted but since that never happened, I left, then sat in my car looking for Yelp reviews on nail salons. I called first and was warmly welcomed to come right over. I was just 5 minutes away. MaryAnn, the owner, gave me a very lovely gel pedicure and another older woman gave me a manicure after. Marianne has made this place a lovely oasis for pampering. Many places in Elk Grove feel like you are cattle lined up in a huge room with tons of people. It's overwhelming and not relaxing. Jade II is different. It's a wonderful cozy spa feeling nail salon.Marianne had it designed to feel upscale. She added a coffee bar area which is a really nice touch that adds to that spa feel. With 4 chairs it's easy to get to know the women working there and feel comfortable. They know me, they know my kids, they do a wonderful job and they know your preferences. This place is spotless, no dust, no nails lying about. I have no worries when I get a pedicure like I have at other area salons. They also have an amazing aromatherapy pedicure, it is a must try! Greatest GEM in old Elk Grove!!!!! One day I was eating at la favorita and decided I needed to get my nails done. I looked across the street and from a far farrrr I could see a sign that said NAILS. I, of course yelped it and called to make an appointment. They had an opening in 15 minutes which worked out perfectly since we just finished eating. The outside looks just like a normal old Elk Grove building but when I entered, it looked very new and nice! I found out that they are under new management and have brand new tables and pedi chairs!!!! The decor is very relaxing and it's a really cute place. As I sat down they asked me what I wanted, which was a gel polish color change so she placed three huge rings of all the colors on the desk!!! They have soooooo many gel colors! I was in heaven!! There were so many I could not decide. I already made up in my mind I was coming back!!! The color change was $20 and I of course gave a generous tip because I really enjoyed it!! I also really liked how they took off the old polish. They were very gentle and also did a great job of cutting the cuticles away. I made an appointment. I was immediately greeted when I arrived and thought ok this is great. I sat in a chair to have my nails done with dip powder. The technician barely spoke to me. Figured ok, no big deal. Instead of soaking off my nails like everyone else does, the technician chipped away at them with a tool, causing pain and ripping and breaking my real nails. I then had to get tips which I didn't want but since my real nails were ruined by the removal process, I had no choice. I asked why she wasn't soaking them off, she said this is better. Not sure how it's better but, 3 of my nails were already ruined. She did the tips and dip powder, she was extremely slow. Like soooooo slow. They don't have colors for dip powder so I had to choose gel over the dip powder. Which is fine, I did that. She brought back one color I didn't choose. As she's painting my nails she did not paint the entire nail and I had to explain to get the sides of the nails too. My nails are lumpy and very amateurish at best. I was there for over 2 hours just getting a fill of dip powder for my nails. I will never go back. I went here because of all the great reviews, but the people I asked to do my nails couldn't so the technician Tammy was available. I will never go back. It was a huge waste of my money. read more

I don't get my nails done often, but when I do, I always go here. The workers are very nice and they genuinely care about your nails. Whenever I get my nails done, they always help carry my bags, shoes, etc, so my nails don't get messed up. Very friendly. I always get a French manicure and I absolutely love the way they do it, they do it with such precision, never disappointed. My mom and I are somewhat regulars and they normally do an amazing job, except IDK WTH happened today. I called them yesterday making an appointment for two people - manis and pedis. For some reason who ever answered the phone wasn't comprehending what I was asking. So that was already a bad sign right there. Showed up today and one of the ladies was like: "appointment for two one mani and pedi and one only pedi" In my I was like the fudge?! I made it clear over and over the phone: two people - one mani and pedi EACH b/c she didn't understand two people for mani and pedis the first time. So I explain once again: "No. Mani and pedi for 2 people" My mom and I both go and sit on the massage chairs and we're getting our toes done, which was fine. It wasn't until the third lady comes to me and tries to start to do my fingernails standing up. It was the most awkward position for her AND me. First of all, it was bad lighting and second of all how in world are you going to do someone's nail when they're half a body shorter than you are?! She started talking about me having bad cuticles etc and in my head, I'm like "why do you think I'm here?!" So I tell her, I'd like to have my cuticles trimmed and nails buffed. I want a manicure. Apparently, she thought I only wanted a nail polish? Like gurl!! NO!! I can do that myself. In fact my 12 year old cousin can do that for me FOR FREE!! (Esp. how the end results look). Anyways, bottom line is and excuse my language because I paid $25 for this gel manicure service PLUS tips (overall I paid $115 excluding tips), she did a shitty a$$ job. After buffering my nail, she didn't even bother to wipe off the excess skin/dirt and painted over that crap. Didn't even bother to use alcohol to sanitize it. Pretty much did it under 5 minutes and gave me a pathetic massage, all the while I'm still on that uncomfortable position in that massage chair. At least my mom had a better experience. They actually took her to the table to do her nails and spent a good 15-20mins. I was furious at what I paid for and what my results were. Painted all over my skin; it was messy, lumpy with air bubbles and whatever excess dirt was on my nail that she didn't wipe off, well yelp that was painted over. I dont know what happened today, but I was soo disappointed with my results. I wish I said something. But my inner Asian side decided to keep it in. I won't be going to their service again after today. They knew that they were cheating me and still didn't even bat an eye. I gave them their tip and left. Never getting service from them again. I went to this place years ago to get a facial...and it has completely transformed. The girls are very friendly, and it's clean inside. Today I went back and got my facial from Lana and she is so good and so attentive. She uses really great products and analyzes your skin. I made the mistake of going to a highly rated competitor a few weeks ago after discovering that Jade Nails is no longer open on Sunday's. One week after my pedicure, polish had chipped.
