I would recommend purchasing your ticket in advance as they do work in a reserved seating format, not open seating. Kiosks are available in the lobby as well. If you have a mobile ticket you can go right to the attendant to see your movie. I've seen other comments stating that the line for concessions is long - that was our experience as well. Other that that, the staff was very nice and happy to help.

They have two different buttons so you can adjust your position, which made the whole movie even more enjoyable. The concession area was also very well stocked, with plenty of options, and everything felt clean and organized. On top of that, everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The tickets were a bit on the pricey side, not sure if it was because of this specific movie or if that's just the standard now but overall, it felt worth it for the comfort and experience. If you enjoy laughing, if you like live theatre with snacks and drinks and desserts at very reasonable prices, and if you like bonding with friendly strangers through an evening of fun and frolic, this is the place for you. (The service was excellent, too!) I'm a museum tour guide and actually love speaking in a group, so I volunteered for a part and loved doing it. Many others did, too. But my husband, and most others, did not have roles, so it's completely up to you. Do not miss this show (if you're not grumpy)!

Let's start with the dinner. Definitely not the best food. When you arrive they had some pita chips and hummus and carrots and ranch dressing. Best part of the meal. They had water and tea on the tables and butter (but fun fact never brought any bread and said they "ran out before dinner"). Next came a salad, hard to mess up. You had two options, chicken or fish with rice pilaf and asparagus. Both the fish and chicken we very, very dry. We were supposed to get two dessert options and instead they just brought out a questionable cheesecake and said that was the only option. There were some people who really enjoyed themselves (I think) but everyone at our table (including people not in our party and from out of town) thought it was laughable. The acting was meh. It adds so much charm and beauty to downtown Charleston - especially at night when it's lit up - and it is impossible not to give it five stars. It's as gorgeous on the inside as the outside but I've only seen it inside once, whereas I was walking past it or driving past the outside about a hundred times throughout my life, which has caused it to become one of my favourite buildings in the city. And they've done a wonderful job restoring and maintaining it and they deserve absolute maximum credit for that.
