A group of us went recently to this little event. I went in with zero expectations, which makes…read morethings easier to enjoy. The plot was a bit confusing, but I feel the actors did a great job. Yes, they want you to laugh and have a good time. That's the point! And yes, if you need a hard drink, you'll have to go to the hotel bar to get one. The food, well it needs serious work. But again, I did not come for the food. I came to have fun with my friends and enjoy a unique experience. And that is exactly what I got. I would recommend this show. I am even considering going back to see if I can play a bit part. Very interactive and engaging! For entertaining purposes five stars! My only warning is be careful who you sit next to as they be the killer!

It was hard to find much to like about The Dinner Detective experience. The actors and servers were…read moreall very nice and lovely people, but my goodness, the whole production was long and boring and the entire narrative of the murder mystery story was disjointed and made no sense -- and that was true even if you could hear what was being said, which was very difficult. The actors should have mics!! And the food wasn't much better. The tortilla chips that were on the table for an appetizer were stale, and the entrees were mediocre, which all would have been fine if the performance we were there to see was fun. We were a group of 8 and so spent quite a bit of money. It ended up not being worth the money, so we left after the 2nd act.

This was my first time at the Myrtle Beach location and it was a letdown . The Pigeon Forge and…read morePanama City Beach locations were both consistent every time I went . Myrtle Beach none of the actors sing the songs like the other locations just lip sing . The acting and acrobatics are great just the lip singing takes away so much from the show . We always pay for the vip and the other locations open the doors and seat the vip's first and then the next groups as follow . This one they opened the doors and just let everyone flood in and nobody helps you find your seating . There were multiple other VIP groups who paid for the VIP that also did not get their meet and greet . We were all told to go up stairs to a section and wait for the meet and greet , all groups waiting never got their meet and greet . We all waited until doors opened and we were told to go find our seats . Complete disaster for seating and complete disappointment not getting the meet and greet we paid for , 4 tickets for VIP are not cheat . The photos at this location were shot on cellphones and they still charge you thru the roof absurd pricing for them . The one picture was $36 (I believe )for the cell phone photo . The server we had Shaq (yes like the basketball player's name ) was an amazing server , very attentive , polite , joked , played the part and an all around awesome guy . Food was consistent like the other locations . This location was definitely better at cleaning up plates and such that both the other locations . The pre show was pretty good at Myrtle . This is based on our many experience's at other locations and the one recent and only time at Myrtle Beach 3-6-26

Ahoy, ye landlubbers! If ye be wonderin' whether this pirate dinner show be worth yer hard-earned…read moregold, let me tell ye -- it's worth every last doubloon. The feast begins with a biscuit so warm and buttery it could only be baked by the Paula Deen of southern pirates. The main course includes tender "seagull". (Locals say it tastes suspiciously like chicken... but who be I to question a pirate?) As for the show? No expense was spared. From the impressive stage mechanics and décor to the costumes and cast, this was a top-tier production, me hearties. I came during the holidays and was treated to a pirate-themed twist on A Christmas Carol -- who knew? So if ye be feenin' for a hearty meal, a swashbucklin' good show, and a chance to channel yer inner scallywag, grab a seat, loosen yer belt, and raise your goblets.

Here's my vegan review of medieval times. There is plenty of food but the quality is just okay…read more First course is a tomato soup, which is fine. The next course was hummus (very small scoop) and veggies. This is the best part so I wish there would have been more hummus!! Next is a stew, very very similar to the tomato soup with rice and beans and other veggies. It's okay and came with hot sauce. Next was corn on the cob which was yummy, and for dessert I got the choice of fruit or Italian ice. I chose Italian ice and it was good! (More of a popsicle but I appreciated the 2 options.) Ended the evening with black coffee which was good. Performance was fun, service was good.

I splurged and got the v I p package and the knighting ceremony for my son and grandson. They absolutely loved it. My husband and I are both vegans and they had vegan options. Amazing! They brought us hummus with vegetables, a tomato bisque soup and we got an amazingly delicious vegetable stew. Yummy! The rest of the family got the standard fare of roast chicken, corn on the cob and potatoes and we all got eclairs for dessert. Our server was prompt friendly and so much fun. Obviously the whole ambiance is a Medieval castle. The jousting stadium was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The show was amazing! They even had dancing horses and a falcon! It was definitely a night to remember!
