Four friends and I went on a weekday afternoon and where they have a 50% off promotion. One odd thing when we arrived. I purchased passes online, got a confirmation e-mail from Play Playground and a separate e-mail showing my payment. The staff asked me to find an e-mail that said "OTP code" with a QR code they could scan. Tried for 5 minutes and they were able to confirm my name. They wound up just letting me in without the OTP e-mail. I finally got the e-mail 30 hours after the reservation time.... Anyways, back to the review. We bought the normal pass (non-VIP) which gives you 300 points. Every event is 15 points, so you can do 20 different things, which I thought was plenty. We actually left before we were able to use all the points up. They had 9 paid games and 1 free one setup for us to play when we went. Here's my rankings of the games: Doctor Doctor - A memory game involving putting parts on a dummy. Place in body parts in a specific order. Move It - kind of like a really big version of Bop It. There were 8 things to interact with. The twist it was having some issues, so be gentle with that one, otherwise it thinks you messed up the next action. Wordsicle - making words similar to Boggle. Longer words for bonus points. The game is split into three rounds with the board changing two times in the middle without warning. 3 letter words are ok. Biggle Ball (free) - moving a ball through a large labyrinth to get it to the end. A handlebar on each side if you want to play as a team. High Five - hitting buttons on a wall as they light up. Hitting unlit buttons make you lose points. The marketing photo is a guy doing a reverse jump split (you will not be doing this ) Ringer Run - moving a metal ring quickly over a pipe. Small penalty for hitting the pipe. Record Time - dodging discs while crossing a beam. If you want to dodge, it makes for a more interesting game. If you want a high score, you can just barrel through the course. Perfect Popper - moving pieces and matching them to holes on a wall. All the pieces drop straight out, so you can look directly below. Whirly Wipeout - trying to stay on a spinning disk. There's not much keeping you on there, so most of us were off in a few seconds. Our last player stayed on for quite a while, so he was asked to do a roll. He fell off and got a burn from the spinning disk on his arm. Watch out on this one! Bullseye - wearing a Velcro suit and jumping on a wall. The Velcro wasn't working super well for us full grown adults. Also, there wasn't much of an object to the "game". There's also a balloon room where you can take selfies. You can get some pretty cool photos. There's also another room where you can pose with props, but it is backlit, so the pictures don't come out well. Last place to visit is the rooftop. One of our friends went up for a few minutes to take a call, but there is no air conditioning up there. Might be a nice place at night. The temperature in here was really warm inside. It was made even worse with the physical activity. One of our favorite activities was standing by one of the portable Air Conditioners and drinking water. Maybe everything is better with drinks? I feel like we had a pretty optimal scenario, not having to wait for games and getting in at a discounted rate, but we still left a bit disappointed. I think they have the right idea, but there need to be way more games and more interesting games. read more

We visited Play Playground in Nashville and purchased the unlimited play option for two hours. While we had a fun time overall, it didn't quite feel worth the price. There weren't as many games as we expected based on the advertising, and several of the games either weren't working properly or had missing pieces, which was disappointing considering the cost. The atmosphere is definitely one of the highlights. The venue is energetic, colorful, and a great spot to hang out with friends. The drinks were also really good, although a bit pricey but that's pretty typical for Nashville. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, but it's probably more of a one-time experience for us. If all of the games were fully functional and there were more activities available, it would have felt like a much better value. Fun atmosphere and good drinks, but the gameplay experience didn't quite live up to the hype. read more

This was one of the venues were booked for a corporate event, and it was fun! No shortage of activities to choose from, catered food was good, and the DJ absolutely crushed it. Two reasons why it's four stars, not five: 1. Air-conditioning inside the building did not seem adequate for Nashville temperatures in May. It was pretty stuffy inside. 2. When our group arrived, turned out no one's access cards were loaded. That took a while to fix. Other than that, I liked the place. read more

Stopped by Sunday to enjoy a cocktail and tunes on the rooftop and it did not disappoint. The DJ was playing nothing but hits which made it hard to leave. Our drinks were good and the Nashville sliders were amazing. The homemade chips came out hot and fresh and are worth going back for alone. read more

Some folks have mix reviews on Play Playground but coming from someone that's done a full buyout of playground in Vegas for a corporate event and visited the Nashville location at least two times I can honestly say it's a solid entertainment options. It's not D&B and that's what's great about. The Nashville location has one of the best rooftops in the city which makes it the perfect locations for a fun and playful group outing for about two to three hours. That's the perfect amount of time to enjoy all the old school games and experiences. Let me tell you how to PLAY. Make this a midday stop during your next Sunday Funday to beat the crowd and have an opportunity to enjoy all the experiences. Grab the play pass that allows you enough swipes to try all the games. Take advantage of all the fun photo ops and after you've worked up an appetite head over to your table that you reserved a head of time because your such a smarty . Enjoy the buffalo cauliflower, Tennessee smash burger and a themed cocktail. This spot is seriously for the folks that are playful at heart that just want a little old skool fun. I'm a fan and my corporate guests were huge fans. Give them a visit and bring your playful vibes. You'll have a blast if good old fashion fun is your thing and you're in good company. read more

We went to Playground Nashville in July to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. The concept is fun and the games are unique, but the overall experience just didn't land for me. It was absolutely packed, so crowded that we could barely move around, and the wait times between each game were long. On top of that, it was extremely hot inside (we were literally dripping sweat), which made it tough to enjoy the activities. The drinks were also not good, which was disappointing for the price, so stick to basic call drinks. The space itself is much smaller than it looks online, and overall it felt very expensive for what you get. That said, we still made the most of it, laughed our way through, and had fun celebrating together as a group of mid-to-late 20-somethings. Overall: fun to try once, but I wouldn't plan on going back. read more

Truly a lot of fun. Perfect for a day or night visit. Food and bar options along with several interactive games. Check in process is fast and easy. Once you are there you will have two options for play card choices. The first option seemed to cover all the bases and allowed you all the time you need on the property. The second more expensive option limits time to 2 hours. If you want to enjoy the rooftop area you can it is outdoors and overlooks the river and Nissan Stadium. I've included several photos and the game options are more adult oriented and are games of skill. I didn't see many young kids in there. Overall fun experience worthy of a visit. You can fill out a waiver at the kiosk to save some time. read more

It was a fun place with great aesthetics that helped me get into the childlike but it's pretty tiny and not enough games for the amount of people waiting to go next. The busier it gets, the less time you'll spend playing. I really appreciated how friendly the staff were and when they gave directions on how to play. Date of visit: March 15, 2025 We noticed the Las Vegas outlet at the Luxor the last time we were there but didn't investigate it, so when we were getting together with some friends in Nashville, this seemed like a great opportunity to give it a whirl and we had a great time while we were there! You start with the usual waiver and payment processes but staff there was very helpful and friendly. This isn't a cheap experience, so do what you can to make the most of your time here; take advantage of the free things such as the Connect 4 or the giant Marble Madness tables and definitely watch others playing as well. That being said, this was a great thing to do with a group of four for a couple of hours. From the Velcro wall to the dodging game, there was a little something for everyone and we had a blast trying out all of the games. I wouldn't bother with the unlimited credits option, a couple times through is plenty for all of the games. read more

Sat on rooftop & waitress was great! The food here is all bar appetizers, so don't plan to eat full meal here. That said, they are big portions & pretty tasty apps! Cheese curds, chicken sliders, pub chips & dips - yummy! Drinks were all fine, except for one picky person in our group that didn't like spiced rum in their rum & diet coke. Boohoo The games here are pretty fun - come prepared to play & get a little sweaty, if you are competitive. We enjoyed them! Some of my group were eager to leave & just went thru quickly - all games in about an hour. We had 3 hour passes that went to waste. Use your best judgement there. read more

4.0 Stars - Fun, but get ready to sweat! I had a chance to visit Play Playground for an after-conference event on their rooftop. To no fault of their own, this was planned in the dead of the summer on an open-air roof in the late afternoon, and it was wayyyyy too hot to be up there. Thankfully, the rest of the venue has plenty to offer. Quality: This place is seriously fun. The games and activities are amazing, engaging, and highly physical. It's a fantastic spot for team-building or just a fun day out with friends and family. I could easily see myself coming back and paying the fee to play these games again. Service: The staff here was great--friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout the entire event. One of the bartenders was so honest when I tried to use a drink ticket for an old fashioned; he basically told me I'd be better off getting one somewhere else, which I appreciated. That's good service right there. Aesthetics: The place can feel a bit cramped with all the activities and the way the building is structured, but they did a good job of trying to keep things cool. The AC works, but after you get your sweat on from playing, you'll definitely need a breather. Luckily, there are AC reinforcement units distributed throughout the location, which helps. There are also several bars on each floor, which is a nice touch. Accessibility: This is the one area that could be tough for some people. There are steep stairs to get to each floor. If you're heading to the roof, you're looking at climbing about five flights of stairs. It's a workout in itself before you even start the games! Overall, I had a great time and would definitely return to Play Playground. It's an excellent concept with a fun atmosphere, and the staff makes the experience a good one. read more

Fun place to check out with great games, colorful neon signs and plenty of photo opportunities. The Nashville hot chicken sliders were just the right heat served with chips in a vintage lunch box. The pretzel bites were soft and delicious with the cheese dip and the deep fried cheese curds were good. Staff downstairs were friendly and welcoming the bartender on the rooftop not so much. She seemed too busy with the few male customers and acted bothered and rushed us when we were ordering our food and we had to call her back to let her know we also wanted to order drinks. We went late Thursday night so it wasn't too busy or crowded, which allowed us to take some great pictures. read more

this adult arcade styled spot is a great place to kill a few hours in the city out of the heat. My friends saw this place on Tiktok and it is definitely a content creators paradise with loads of photo ops and a fun atmosphere. We had 150 tickets each and my group made it through all the games (though the word game in the back was broken for Player 4) in a couple hours, taking breaks to stop at the bar. My friends got beers and I was in the mood for a bloody mary which satisfied. No olives though :( piece of advice: play the rock paper scissors game with the bartender- if you win you get a free drink!! and if you lose... you just pay for the drink. it's really zero risk and it was one of the most fun memories I have from this place. Downstairs we cashed in our pooled points for some little plastic knickknacks like branded guitar picks, bouncy balls, and a cute straw cover shaped like a pink cowboy hat. Assuming the games stay the game, just once at this place was enough for me but really enjoyed it and can be fun for the whole family. read more

The place was a little deceiving from what you see posted on social media. It's super tiny without a lot of games. There is a total of maybe 5 games in the playground. Food was awful even for bar food. Signature drinks supper small over flowing with ice. A total disappointment from how it's advertised for sure. The pineapple picante Paloma was good a little sweet a little spicy, but not overly on either one. The skinny spicy margarita was good but I wasn't expecting the seltzer water. It's definitely very cold upstairs but there's more seating up here. Service was good. The music was amazing if you love the 80s and 90s. There was no Christmas music and I can't say it felt like Candyland or like the pop-up I saw on IG. The Lost in the peppermint forest is very very peppermint tasting, if you do not like peppermint do not get this! Dolly's blonde is very good mainly tastes like strawberry. You don't really taste any ginger or mint. The pretzel bites came out super fast, hot, and good although I would prefer a bigger size of beer cheese. You must sign a waiver, regardless of whether you're playing games or not before you go up. Then, you cannot use the same phone number for both people which they did not tell us about so we had to redo the whole form. They need to make it where you can play individual games because the ticket price is a little much if you only wanna play one or two games even though it's good for a year but we live out of state and would not use it. We did not find out till later that the ball pits and the selfie area are free. They should probably add a sign mentioning that since that was all we were originally interested in. The bathrooms were pretty cool. There's information about Nashville on all of the stalls. There's lots of photo opportunities throughout the entire facility. read more

The place is a little underwhelming. The spot has great energy and the waiters are so sweet and attentive. There are lights everywhere. The downside to it is that there really isn't a ton to do for the price. It has two cute photoshoot spots, a spinning wheel to sit on and a human Velcro target which are the major attractions. They have lots of drink options but the menu is specific to tequila and vodka. While cute I just wasn't that impressed. read more
