Pretend play together for one and five year old
    Alison W.

Took my daughter for her first birthday here on a Friday afternoon, place is very nice and quiet with just a few young kids, staffs were very friendly and kept the place well organized, perfect place for young children without the chaos or the Texas heat!

Why have not discovered this place before!? We were there during a birthday celebration and my 4 & 9 year old enjoyed it a LOT! We loved playing pretend and the cafe is super nice. The place is super clean!

Such a cool place that your toddler will love. They will hate to leave and will cry and scream! This place has a pet, kitchen, garden, Lego area, farm, and party setting. We will be back! The staff was very accommodating and helped decorate for the party !

We had our daughter's birthday party here. Ages ranged from 4-9 and everyone had a blast! The owner was so sweet, responsive and super easy to work with! We will definitely be back!

My son and his friends gad a great time celebrating his birthday. Great venue! After the party 3 of the kids wanted to celebrate their birthdays there as well.

Visited today with my 4/6 year old and they loved it. Fun for both boys and girls probably until age 7 or so. You can tell the owner has gone out of their way to tastefully decorate the place with fun themes and activities. The area is very well maintained and cleaned throughout the day which is nice, since kids can be destructive and messy which makes it hard to play at other similar establishments. We will definitely be back!

I went here with my 3 year and one year old. They had a blast. The establishment checks temperatures and makes you hand sanitize before entering. Adults must wear masks. They did have other activities for additional costs such as making slime. The bathroom was clean and kid friendly. I would definitely return.

They loved taking care of the babies.

I'm so glad I found this place! My 2 little girls (1 and 3 year old) loved it here. We spent 2 hours here and could've stayed longer but it was closing time. My girls spent most of their time in the playhouse and the ice cream shop. I think this place is very stimulating for the kids and there's lots to play with. It's super clean and such a cute place! I loved that everything is within visible range so you can see where your kids are at at all times. Next time, I'm inviting my mommy friends so we can have some me time while the kids play! Oh and they even give you a free snack of your choice after you're done! A win!

4 stars? Let me tell you why…read more We've been visiting The Woodlands Children's Museum regularly for the past couple of years, and overall it's been a solid experience for younger kids. It's a well-managed space that's clearly designed for structured, imaginative play rather than chaos. If you know what to expect, it can be a great outing. Pros: * The location right off The Woodlands Parkway makes it easy to get to without going far out of the way. * The museum is the perfect size--big enough to keep kids engaged, but not overwhelming for parents or little ones. * They host multiple events throughout the month, which helps keep things interesting beyond a standard visit. * Being able to host birthday parties here is a big plus and very convenient. * Pricing feels fair for what's offered, especially compared to larger, more crowded children's attractions. Cons: * The layout doesn't change very often; in two years, I've only seen one noticeable update, which can make repeat visits feel a bit repetitive. * Parking can be frustrating since the lot is shared with a large gym, especially during peak hours. * The shopping center itself is pretty outdated and could really use a remodel, which affects the overall experience. * This is not the place for very hyper kids who need to run freely--everything is more controlled and calm. * There are no concessions, and outside food or drinks aren't allowed, which can be inconvenient for longer visits. Overall, this museum is a great option for younger children who enjoy hands-on, imaginative play in a calm environment. It's affordable, well-located, and thoughtfully run, but best suited for kids who do well with structure. We'll continue to visit, just not expecting major changes each time.

They have simple task like make your own airplane and experiment with aerodynamics through wind tunnels and airflow. Climbing structures integrated throughout encourage physical play (and yes some energy burn)! Outdoors children manipulate the direction and flow of water in interactive water tables and engineering principles. Beyond exhibits, there are amenities like food court, bookstore, and gift shop. My only critique is in the ticket purchase. If you buy at the kiosk and not counter (24" away) you save $2 BUT then the kiosk charges you $1.62 processing fee so big whoop on the .38 cent savings. The kiosk only makes sense when purchasing multiple tickets but is still something for the business to take a look at. Overall, awesome space! Plan to stay several hours to enjoy all the offerings.

The holiday features were a big plus -- the snow playground was a fun seasonal surprise, and seeing Elsa, Anna, and Olaf with a Frozen sing-along and meet-and-greet made the visit extra special for younger kids. That said, the experience would have been much better with stronger upkeep. Many of the electronic exhibits were not working, unplugged, or appeared damaged, which was disappointing for kids who were eager to interact. The museum was also very crowded, making it hard to spend quality time at some of the most popular exhibits. Overall, it's a solid outing and we still enjoyed ourselves, but improved maintenance and functionality of the interactive exhibits would really elevate the experience.

I had heard mixed reviews so wasn't expecting much but even with that it was a let down. I planned 2-3 hours to be here, took us under 1 hour. Most of that time was spent making our slime. There are add ons but for our family it was $200 to go in we weren't about to add anything on. Things looked dirty, things were broken and it was showing its age. Just by the faded outside of the building/sign. Once institute they check you in and asks everyone to wash their hands at the tiniest sink I've ever seen. Then you sit down and listen to the rules. You make a name tag, get to add slime to a wall, then get to feel 6-7 cats of slime, do this silly computer thing that asks 1800 questions and tells you your slime buddies name (total waste of time and money on their part), now you stand behind glass and shoot slime at each other (our favorite but a quick thrill), then another room with the same slime textures, inside that room in a small musical room that was pretty cool, take a self with their logo, then make your own slime, after making your slime walk down a hall feeling the same slime textures again, then a gross wall where everything was brown from touching, now take off your shoes and walk in slime. That's it! That's everything. We felt we took our time but with washing hands to visiting their store we were done in under an hour. $16 per person to get in okay, $31 heck to the no, not worth it whatsoever. Make the trip from Austin just to take your slime loving kids.... Again heck no not worth it. The girl at the charm station was super friendly, we didn't see much staff other than that.

It is one of those places that can easily be a one and done. There is discounted weekday price starting at $19 for kids 3-12. Something tells me the $19 is if you buy it in advance. Meaning, not the day of. I paid $25 for the kids and $29 for myself online. The photo opps are what you make of it. Like for instance I've been to places where you press a button and the confetti drops down. For this, you have to actually throw the confetti up yourself. Good luck trying to figure this out with kids if you're looking for a good photo. They were also a bit underwhelmed with it. They loved the music room, the light bright room, and the balloon room. The goodies. It was cute. I'm trying bit to give the whole experience away if you are interested in going. It is best to pay for the ice cream online as it is a bit cheaper but not by much. Those cones were cute and delicious. I purchased the photo package. It really isn't necessary as you get to download the photos from a QR code you use when snapping the pics. There is a small parking lot near to it. If you wait for the group before you to leave then you can get a spot without an issue.

I usually buy The Woodlands Children Museum membership with her birthday money, but we wanted to try someplace new. They do not have a membership, but they do have a punch card, which I thought I would consider purchasing for her birthday gift if she liked the place. My favorite thing about here is that they have age limits and they don't charge if you're over the age limit or younger than the age limit. This was perfect because although I had my older daughter with me, she sat in the corner on her phone the entire time so I would have been more annoyed if I had to pay for her. My son, who also aged out, came in later and played for a couple of minutes with his younger sister, but was ready to leave and get snacks quickly. So I am happy that I would not have to pay for the children that don't actually enjoy being there and have to come with their siblings haha. I wish the woodland's children museum, including others, would adopt that philosophy. Having said that, the videos that I saw online made it seem like it was a larger place than it is. It's probably around less than half the size of the woodlands children museum. They mostly just had everyday toys over there and tiny little rooms that I couldn't really maneuver with my stroller. I was surprised to see that they got busy pretty quick. I would expect a location to be larger if they had more patrons coming. I will have to say, I wish they had a couch or nice seating for the adults who were all pretty much just standing around or following their children. My daughter was able to do the slime for her birthday and I purchased another slime for my older daughter to do which was the only thing that she actually liked ( the older one I mean... the younger one had fun with everything). I will have to say, the girl who was working there, I wanna say that her name was Callie or something (sorry I forgot), was very helpful and made the slime fun for my daughter. She let my daughters choose the different colors and the sprinkles that went in. As long as my children enjoy it, that's literally all I care about. So even though I thought it was pretty small, and wish they had better seating, I will be coming back.

It appeared there was only one person working, and she could have used a little help. Nevertheless, she did a good job, and was helpful and friendly. It would be nice if there was just a little more room. But that didn't stop the kids from having a good time. The different areas were all a big hit, such as the food truck, the office, the vet area to name a few. The kids moved from one area to another with no issues and enjoyed them all.
