The bread was soggy, bacon cold, and arugula wilted. While I do have to give the barrel props on its ambiance, music, and location (as it is in the heart of my childhood hometown) I do recommend scanning over ingredients to make sure they are at the peak freshness, stocking the fridge with more grab and goes (maybe some pasta salad, wraps, or even sandwiches). Oh boy...the espresso had literally no flavor. The milk overpowered everything and I just couldn't drink it without thinking about anyone who may have the smallest sensitivity to lactose tolerating the beverage. The milk didn't even taste good either! I had to immediately toss it. I should have asked to have it remade but it took the baristas already over 10 minutes to make the thing so I cut my losses.
