Outside patio

The drinks were great, the food was amazing, the staff was friendly and the outside tables were a well-thought of finishing touch. Highly recommend it and will definitely be back if my travels bring me this way!

I had a craving for some authentic street tacos and this place delivered! We also ordered the ceviche and it was fresh and flavorful. The chips are homemade and seasoned with their own homemade Sazon! The service was prompt and hospitable! Music was on point with salsa and merengue; not too loud. We sat inside but they also have a nice little patio area for those nice breezy days/nights. Overall, a nice experience and will come back again.

Brisket a la mexicana

So my order was 3 tacos; a picadillo, a barbacoa and a brisket a la mexicana; by the time I remembered to take a picture I had downed two of the three tacos. Barbacoa was clean, not fatty but still had enough godly grease in each bite that gave it that liquid burst of flavor. Picadillo ground beef was seasoned like my abuelita used to make with more of the beef coming through than potato, perfectly balanced so each ingredient had the spotlight; brisket a la mexicana--- what can I say but LORDDD jugoso, picoso y sabroso... three words you always want your Mexican food to be described as. Refried beans an arroz, on point and the agua de piña was the closer. Definitely stop by for some excellent food and service!

After a long day on the Kemah Boardwalk, my friends and I was extremely hungry and craving tacos so we decided to stop by this place. Unfortunately it was almost 10 minutes until closing so we asked if it was closed already but the host still invited us in and even offered to have us dine inside 15 minutes after closing. Ordering food was easy and can't stress how good the service was! My friends and I enjoyed our food and would be glad to come back whenever we're in town!

1st time here and was really good. Friendly staff. Will be going back. Tried barbacoa tacos.

Complimentary charro beans. And they are good! Great salsa too!

So good! If you like hot stuff the habanero salsa is a winner! I had a brisket and egg taco. Had to get an extra tortilla they gave me so much filling! The brisket was amazing! They gave us 3 extra tortillas for free! Hubby loved his plate. It was the fried eggs on tortillas, with plantains. Can't recall the name, but there is a pic on the menu. Can't wait to come try dinner! Don't miss out on the free charro beans. They are awesome!!!!!

The service is good and I love the food and atmosphere. Try the ceviche. Great place for lunch and dinner.

AH-MAZING. We went there for the 1st time on Saturday and the food was phenomenal as was the service! I had simple breakfast tacos of Chorizo, Egg and Cheese and Bean and Cheese w/Bacon. My husband had the Los Reyes w/Carne Asada. Both were incredible. We had friends go and they loved it too! Free Margaritas as supply allows until they get their liquor license. Saturday we went back! The Ground Beef Soft Tacos, Habanero Special and my Fish, Shrimp and Avocado Tacos were amazing! My new favorite place! 1st Responders get 10% discount so let them know! Plus the outdoor ambiance is so fun and they play authentic music. I believe the owner considers the food more of a Caribbean flair and I can agree with that. The flavors are incredible and don't forget to try their Salsa! Holy spicy!!!

I'm confused why this location has a lower rating than the Seabrook location when the food is the same. Do people on the Northside of the bridge have different palates than those on the Southside. Odd. As always, the tacos are the bomb. I got the 2 kinds of chicken tacos and I always partake of the free beans. My favorite taco though is the fish taco, but I really have to be in the mood to have fried food! Wish they had a grilled version!

This place is quick and easy you have to order your food standing up and then they do bring it to you it's simple little street tacos I can't seem to order the right one though my husband says to order the pastor I'll definitely give it another try everything is all a cart though so be fair warned if you want chips or salsa you have to pay for that extra it's not a traditional Mexican restaurant it's like a taco stand with a roof on it They do have some plated food but doesn't seem too appealing to me. The restaurant is really bright and cheery on the outside but it doesn't follow through inside the restaurant. .

The fajitas were moist. Even when ordered to go came in separate plates. Salsa was spicy. Margarita was very good.

My fiend and I both had a taco plate and two Watermelon margaritas and we very much enjoyed everything!

My friend and we're nervous to come in because we never see anybody here but we were determined to try it because of the pictures and reviews. It was worth it! The taco plate is a must and the water melon margarita topped it off!

Taco combination plate

I love this place! The taco combination plate comes with three tacos, beans and rice. I chose the fish, shrimp, and avocado tacos. Today the gave samples of charro beans. Delicious! Had the device and it was so good as well. With all this food, no way I could eat it all.

I wasn't sure what to make of the request, but hung up. I told my husband about the phone call and he was less than thrilled. Based on the reviews, I thought there was great potential for a good meal. We drove to the restaurant, and as soon as I stepped inside, I understood what was meant about the line forming. In order to place your order, you must get in line. There's one individual taking orders. At the time we arrived, there was no line and no one inside. We asked a few questions for clarification and dietary advice. I ordered one of their specials with beans. My husband ordered an egg dish with beans and corn tortillas. We were asked if we wanted a drink, we said no, and the nice gentleman asked if we wanted water cups, to which we replied no. I had purchased several drinks the night before, as such we had several beverages in the rental car. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of my dish. It was exactly what I thought of when I think of Mexican food. Great beans and rice. All around tasty food. My husband had the Caribbean omelette. I had an enchilada dish. I left maybe one bite on the plate.

Well..... the food was okay.. we had a large party of 10, so many different dishes were ordered and sampled.. the food overall is okay, but nothing wow about it.. rice was mid.. it just didn't hit.. if they said it was day old rice I'd believe it.. the beans tasted like they were from a bag or something.. again. They were okay not bad but not amazing, but neither rice or beans tasted homemade or freshly made, I'm Mexican and eat them daily. I feel like I know the difference but taste is completely subjective. Service was friendly our waiter was patient and took the time to answer our questions and concerns. They gave us chips and salsa, I'm visiting Texas and so far every place gives me warm salsa, maybe it's a Texas thing but it's just not something I'm used to but it tasted good just weird it's warm.. We had an issue with the horchata, not tasting at all like horchata, we asked the server what was in it and he was completely clueless and said I don't know, and on his phone while we asked this and just seemed not happy to be there, but they swapped it no problem.. thanks again, we got the lemonade and it was delicious. I ordered the carnitas and they were amazing.. I would recommend you get them yourself I've had lots throughout my life and they're definitely top 3. My mom ordered the shrimp cocktail, it didn't hit.. we ended up sharing my carnitas plate. I don't recommend the shrimp cocktail, the shrimps were tiny, precooked and I could tell they came frozen.. I love ketchup, but this was an excess. Idk something just wasn't right.. my mom ate maybe 1/4 of it and was done.. cousins got burgers and fries they were basic but hit the spot, someone else got fajitas and they hit.. enchiladas were yummy, someone got a tamale I didn't try it but they ate it all.. same with the crunchy tacos and tostadas.. overall the place was okay. Ambiance was great, it's nicely decorated and very cheerful., services was friendly and we finished it off with complimentary self serve ice cream..

They have a few different flavor profiles going on but they all seem to work. They do offer complimentary bread and butter, and have different happy hour specials during the week. For an appetizer, I ordered the crab cake appetizer that comes with two cakes and salad. I was very surprised at the size of the crab cakes! That basically could have been a meal by itself. I ate one so I could have room for my entree and I loved the lemon sauce that came with it. The flavor was yummy. Hubby the soup of the day which was like a crab bisque, which I got to try. It was creamy and a little on the sweeter side but also tasted good. For my entree, I ordered the stuffed Mahi Mahi. It comes with dirty rice and vegetables. I asked the waitress if I could sub the dirty rice and the only option she gave me was the Alfredo fettuccine. I was fine with that, but could not understand why substituting rice with the pasta would also take away my vegetables. So I had to pay an additional $10 to get a side of vegetables and I didn't like that. The portions of the entree are very big. Honestly, me and hubby could have split my whole meal and had been full off the one appetizer and entree. The stuffed Mahi was good and the sauce on it had a good flavor. The side of vegetables came with a trio of steamed broccoli, Zucchini that was sautéed in a sauce, and carrots. The waitress failed to explain that the carrots were actually a carrot puree. It was sweet and tasted almost like a sweet potato mash. It wasn't what I was expecting but surprised that it tasted so good. Everything individually tasted amazing, but I would not say that the flavor profiles are cohesive. Overall, it was a good dining experience and I left with food to still last me two more meals. I had the rest of the pasta with my crab cake for lunch the next day, and ate the rest of the fish and vegetables for dinner.
