I visited Play Date SEA a couple of years ago and remember how fun it was. We walked there almost twice a week and spent hours and hours there since we bought the day pass. It's an awesome idea. I love places like this because we don't have enough in Seattle. We went yesterday with our almost 3 year old daughter. She had a blast. The structure and the bathrooms looks clean. The food and presentation of it and prices sucks. I ordered panini ($11) hot cocoa ( not hot at all) fries ( took them 30 min after realizing they gave our fries to someone else and when we got replacements it wasn't done, they were not done at all, my daughter ate them anyway because she was hungry- not sure why they gave us that little buzzing thing since it never let us know if our order is ready) The place wasn't packed which I liked. We got little upset because after only 1 hour of play we were told (man who works there yelling at the kids to leave the structure) I wish they mentioned it before we decided to stay because it wasn't worth it. Since our daughter is too little we couldn't stay for laser tag so she got really upset when we had to drag her out of there. Also I noticed that same man was yelling on kids because they were running ( I understand that's safety concern but there are better way to deal with kids) around being excited in really rude way. Perhaps different more friendly approach would be nicer than yelling. Parking was little challenging to find. I got punch card for my daughter when we first got to the counter in front since the back counter was closet. Over all there are things that we didn't like but my daughter was really enjoying herself and had fun and that's all that matter. We will come back because of it and will be hoping for better tasting fries and hot cocoa. read more

Nice place for watching games while kids have fun. It's a win-win! Price Is a bit high on food. Quality is also a bit low. This can be really improved! As happens on most places, kids around 3 suffer a bit, because they don't have fun on toddlers area and they don't have much fun on other areas because of bigger kids. I've frequented this space quite a bit and really liked it until recently. A good friend of mine has a child with special needs and asked for an easy lightbulb change for her son to be able to use the space. 2 months later no changes have been made, and it seems like the staff at this playcenter are unwilling to make these reasonable accommodations. This place is SO MUCH FUN! My first visit was for a birthday party, and both my son and I were hooked. We've been back several times and my son constantly asks to go back. The seating area allows for adults to enjoy themselves while the kiddos run, climb, slide and make new friends. My 4-year old son says "I've loved it!" Delicious food, hot and cold drinks! read more

Birthday party, room rental plus food - a bit spendy, but they totally took care of us the whole time. Made sure we had water, cups, plates and everything constantly. They even helped corral the kids into the room when it was time for cake and then cut and served the cake for us. The service was *amazing*. They also had the game on! First off the parking is horrible. It takes ages to find a good spot. Secondly they don't allow outside food and drink in. Which is ridiculous because their food is decent, but over priced and always takes way too long to get. On average it takes 30 minutes but one time we waited for an hour. Especially with the world's pickiest eater at our side, it's a waste of money since he doesn't eat anything they serve except crackers and occasionally a bite or two pizza. LOVE! Your kids can play for hours, running around, climbing, dancing, and shooting balls. You can drink (beer and wine), work (their is wifi), or just caught up with friends. Play area is 4 stories tall with slides and lots of rooms. The food is good (for a kids place). We usually get the hummus plate and pizza If we're hungry . Terrible lack of parking and overall a strange experience... likely will not return. PROS: *Good size play area (though mostly suitable for the preschool and older crowd in my opinion) *Good quality food for kids + adults, no complaints there (they also serve espresso and alcohol) *Tons of tables/seating area CONS: *TERRIBLE lack of parking -- I'm a Seattle native, have lived in Ballard which has terrible parking issues, and this is some of the worst I've seen. I circled around the neighborhood for about 20 minutes before finally landing in a 30 minute load spot, then had my friend watch my child inside while I moved my car to another 30-minute spot closer by. Upon checking in to PlayDate, I immediately asked the counter employee if there was any sort of garage or other guaranteed parking nearby and he said no. He pointed right outside the window and informed me there was a parking spot "right there," to which I informed him it was marked with a sign saying for food vehicles only... *The designated toddler play area is small, very limited in things to do, and strangely dark (apparently they're going for an "underwater" theme, but strange to escape from a gloomy winter day into a gloomy dark play area....) There were essentially little more than a few strings of holiday lights lighting the cavern-like small area *While waiting for our food, my 1-year-old in my arms was being clingy and fussy, as young toddlers often are in a new place, nearing naptime, etc... While just standing there holding my son, minding my own business, a female employee approached me with a phone in her hand and asked what was wrong, why he was crying. This struck me as a very odd question. She then proceeded to inform me it was "her job" to ask why any crying kid was crying. I could get if it was injury-related on the play area, etc... but we were standing in the middle of a dining room next to a table simply waiting for our food, and he was fussy. So she repeatedly asked why he was crying and I said, "He's one." To which she then laughed, began walking away and said, "Oh, I don't have kids..." Just a bizarre experience... I don't think I'll be back. Would rather go to Wunderkind in NE Seattle, Once Upon a Time's play space in Queen Anne, or Play Happy Cafe all the way in Lynnwood (we live in Seattle). read more

Absolutely love this place! I take my 4 year old often, just had a party hosted in July. The Hostess was on top of all of our needs (mostly adults) and treated the party boy like a rock star! The pricing is not outrageous either. The play area is large and perfect for my son. I let him run around with limited supervision because I know he will be safe. There is also a separate area for little little ones, which is nice when he's ready for a more mellow playtime. The food and drinks are delicious. I have had various items from the menu and they were all scrumptious! I recommend PlayDate to all of my parent friends! read more

My 3 1/2 year old is active, energetic, and wild. I thought this place would be perfect for him. But there are a zillion things that concern me about playdate seattle. 1) it's 3 levels of mazes and tunnels. If you lose sight of your kid, or they need you, parents have to climb through a labyrinth to get their kid. It'd be nice if there were a staircase for adults to reach their children quickly. 2)there are no employees supervising any of the 3 play area levels. There aren't many parents supervising their kids either. More on that... 3) if your kid is under 5, stay with them (if you can). This place fills up with rambunctious older kids. I was slow to follow my kiddo up to the second level. By the time I caught up to him, an unsupervised 7 year old threw a big bouncy ball at my son's head, knocked him down, and was bashing his head with the ball. My son was screaming and couldn't get away. The 7 year old saw me and took off. Where was his mom? Out in the cafe sipping a coffee probably. Ridiculous. Infuriating. Unacceptable. 4) there is no gate keeping the kids in the play area. This place is a huge maze. What if your kid decided to leave, and walked out of the building? There's absolutely nothing to stop them from doing that. 5) the hyper-aggressive ball canon room is a disaster waiting to happen. I got hit in the neck by a ball. It hurt. I can't imagine how much it would hurt one of the little kids walking around there. And what's with teaching our kids to bash each other in the face with projectiles anyway? Seems to undermine what (some) of us teach our kids, not to hurt people. I saw numerous kids walk out of that room crying. 6) the under 3yrs play area is a little more peaceful. But it's like a dark little dungeon and it's tiny. 7) the slides in this place are not for the faint of heart. They are steep. They are fast. My daredevil kid tried one, and refused to go on anymore. 8) there are two registers in the entire place. I waited in line for at least 10 minutes to sign in. It took another 10 minutes in line to close my tab at the end. Crazy when you have a little kid waiting. I am never ever ever going back. Ever. read more

I would like to start out by saying that the actual play structure was great and my kid had a blast until... He slipped on the slide and bit through his lip. Now I am the first to admit, kids fall and things happen but as I came out of the play area with a screaming, crying child gushing blood, not one of their employees stopped to help. After chasing one employee down by the food to ask for a first aid kit, I was given 2 paper towels and that was clearly stretching the helping hand they were "offering". So now my kid is terrified of the play structure and just wants lunch BUT unfortunately, my little nugget is allergic to a whole slew of things and cannot eat anything on their menu except some fruits and veggies which are not enough to feed a growing belly. We brought our own food but Jenny was more than happy to tell us, outside food is not allowed and we would need to put it away; I tried to explain the reason we brought outside food but Jenny was having non of it and only repeatedly said we could order off the menu. So we had no choice and had to leave. It is clear from their no tipping (they do add on an extra 10% to your bill instead) sign they believe in having great service but what we experience today was anything but. Went here yesterday with my son. Ended up only staying for about an hour because it felt like my son was being singled out for playing like a 4 year old. 2 men brought my son out and told me he was on timeout for climbing on toys. It really rubbed me the wrong way because I'm not sure why it took two grown men to bring my son out. The man who was supposed to be watching the play area seemed like he had no experience and I'm not sure how he was able to watch all the kids running around. I've been to the one in Portland and you can completely tell the difference. It would've been fine if my son want the only one singled out, since dozens of other kids were doing the exact same thing and no "time outs", and talks to parents were done. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Payed all this money here and it did not meet my expectations. Please play date Seattle, train your staff in early childhood education or at least attend some trainings on how to work with children. read more

UPDATE: These guys sued an older establishment that had the same name, and forced them to change their name by threat of lawsuit. These people are scum of the earth and do not deserve your money. Go elsewhere! Looking for a relaxing place to get a cup of coffee or a bite to eat while the kids play? Go elsewhere. This place is hectic and disorganized, and the staff are rude. Once you find parking, get through the ridiculous line and get your kids in, you will be unhappy, exhausted and in the exact opposite kind of environment than the one they advertise to parents. When you walk into the place, all of the play equipment is in the back, so the kids naturally want to head there. But if they dare to follow this natural inclination, the staff will bark at them to check in, which means waiting in a long sloooooooooow line while trying to hold your restless kids at bay. Instead of having a quick check in at front so the kids can go play while you order your food via the counter or table service, you have to wait behind everyone ordering food for everyone in their party, as well as for admission to the play area. Each person in line takes 3-10 minutes, which is an interminable amount of time to a toddler that wants to go play, and to the parent trying to hold them back from doing so. The staff are sarcastic or just useless, wall-flowering while one person takes their sweet time to take all of the orders instead of opening another register or separating admission from food orders. You get the idea that they are sick of the public, but it's their own fault for having such a poorly organized system. Don't bother asking questions if it's your first time. You get an eye-roll and an exasperated reply. Don't waste your time waiting in line to give your money to people who will treat you like cattle. This place sucks. read more

This business is not worth your patronage, especially if you do not live in this area! It could potentially be a great place for visitors to Seattle if a parent is in need of letting their kids run wild and unsupervised. In case you miss the sign upon entry it states "NO OUTSIDE FOOD". My cousin had a misunderstanding about the party room and time it was available for her daughters 2nd birthday and at the last minute she decided not to go with the room rental. The faculty had already offered to keep the cake/cupcakes in the fridge and once the room option was cancelled the cake/cupcakes were brought out to be given to the kids on their way out which caused a FIASCO! This is NOT a place of CUSTOMER SERVICE, neither the owner nor the employees offered any resolutions to any of the discrepancies that were ran into. If you are for making Seattle a better place, appreciate diversity and real customer appreciation for patrons than this is NOT the place for you! Your money will go wasted! You would make better use of your backyard than you could in this place. Save yourself some disappointment. If you don't care to mingle with people of other cultures than your own than this is the place for you! I figured I would share my thoughts on this place. To start, the kids had a blast. There was a lot for the older kids to do there. However, the toddler area is very limited and pretty small. I think they would have benefited from putting a little more effort into that part of the premises. Our youngest spent most of her time on the big kid stuff, which necessitated me following her around most of the time since there were places that she couldn't climb on her own. I was happy to see employees constantly walking through the play areas to keep an eye on things. I did notice that some kids were able to climb over a wall which led to an 8 foot drop, though. One kid did this multiple times, which I could see leading to broken bones if not careful. My biggest complaint, though, was parking. It was a nightmare trying to find parking in the area. There is a ton of construction going on all around, so most of the side streets are either blocked off, or else did not allow parking. We ended up finding a paid parking lot about 2 or 3 blocks away, but it took 20 minutes of driving around to find it. It was a weekend, so the cost was low, but I would not want to pay the weekday rates in order to go to this place during the week. read more

This place is pure chaos, and now that the rates have gone up they are completely out of line with what's available in Seattle for fun kids things to do. This week was a "holiday week" apparently so it cost $40 for two kids to get in. There are 10 other nicer places I would take my kids for that amount of money. When I called to complain the manager was completely condescending, noting "for families who don't have the money..." which is not even the issue. We have the money we're just not going to throw it away on a horrible experience at a horrible business. We will never go back. read more

This place is awesome! I took my 3 yr old grandson, 8 yr old and 11 yr old nephews to Playdate Sea and he played for 4 hrs with no issues. They had tons of staff who made sure kids were behaving. There was a parent their who was being verbally aggressive towards an autistic child and the new regional manager handled it great! He was firm with the adult causing the issue and kind and compassionate towards the autistic child and his parents. I have severe nut and seafood allergies and myself and nephews have celiac. There's no nuts or seafood on their menu. They have great gluten free options that actually taste good and are great with cross contact issues. Non of us were gluttened!!! read more

We really like Playdate. I'm honestly confounded by some of the negative reviews on here about this facility. "The nerf guns teach our kids violence is okay"...seriously? You're upset your kid got hit with a flying bouncy ball? You know what, if you're intent on raising your child to be a crying, whiny, delicate little flower then just keep them at home. Don't ruin other peoples' fun time with your incessant and over-bearing babying of your fragile little angel. Kids play, and sometimes running around, throwing bouncy balls at each other, or shooting (god forbid) foam balls at each other is fun. Actually, I take that back - that's always fun. If you can't cope with it you shouldn't be there. Any honestly, I really feel sorry for your child because they will grow up to be one of those mentally fragile people who crack at the first hint of real life. We've taken our now two year-old son there at lest twice a month since he was 18 months old. Has he gotten knocked over? Yes. Has he gotten popped in the forehead with a foam ball shot out of a air cannon? Yes. Has he been scared of the craziness and excitement and the see-through cargo nets you climb across 10 feet off the ground? Sure. But does that stop him, or us, from having a great time and returning to Playdate a few times a month? Definitely not! And more importantly, all of these things HELP YOUR CHILD GROW AND BECOME A WELL-ADJUSTED INDIVIDUAL. Adversity is a part of life. If you're the type of parent who just sits on your ass out in the restaurant and wastes life away on Facebook (we see this regularly), or if you are the type who hovers over your child and attempts to shield them from any interaction, please do us parents who care and understand child development a favor and don't come to Playdate. However, if you you're the kind of parent who will participate in a foam ball war, or climb through tunnels and dance on lighted disco floors, join us! The only reason I'm not giving Playdate five stars is because they do definitely understaff on busy days. Sometimes it takes far too long to get checked in, and there should be at least one employee roaming around inside the play area. read more

To be clear, my kid really likes the play structure. However, here's how I feel, having just spent two hours here: - Admission was around $22 for one kid. That's kind of nuts given there's no real non-parent supervision. - They sell pizzas for $27. The quality is better than from frozen, but not by nearly enough to justify prices on par with actual pizza places. - I got some sweet potato fries. They were kind of crunchy--in the middle. - There's a "no tipping" sign on the cash register, which is fine--I can get behind a no tipping culture. That said, there's a bit of fine print saying they add a 10% service charge onto everything so they can pay their employees a "living wage." Super duper! Except it's a kind of scummy dodge not to put it in their prices--though given how inflated those are, there's probably not more room to jack them up. Bottom line, this place is fine if you have so much money that you don't look at prices at all anymore. Otherwise, it's not unlike paying sporting event prices for admission and food so your kid can spend a couple hours in a real big fast food play place. Would be one star except my kid likes it. Hopefully he doesn't get stomach flu from it this time. read more

I have an active 16 month old and had heard good things about this place from a friend. Wish I could recommend this to my friends with toddler age kids, but the service is so backwards. After reading some other reviews I see it's not a fluke that there was only one very long line for both food and check-in. An impossibly long line is the last thing a parent with an energetic little kid wants to deal with when arriving at a playground. Especially since there seem to be plenty of employees and cashier stations. I give two stars because the idea is awesome - if your kid is older maybe it doesn't matter as much. But asking parents to juggle a squirmy toddler while standing foot to foot for 30 plus minutes makes this place a bust for those of us with little ones. read more

Great facility, but really bad food service. I ordered a sandwich when I first got there and it took 1 1/2 hours to get it. By the time an hour had past, my kids were hungry. The staff at the counter told me their food would go to the end of the line and take another hour. We were going to have to leave before then. My advise, come to play, order coffee, stash snacks in your bag! One more thing...Don't go on a rainy weekend, there was a line outside the building like a rock concert! Playdate Sea is great... for my kid to run around. He has a blast. The rest of the place is lack luster. The employees don't care, the food is super shitty, and the coffee is terrible too. I was there with friends who's youngest got sick and threw up on the carpet area. They went over and told the employees behind the counter and asked for a towel. They packed up and left but my son and I stayed for another hour and no one cleaned up the threw up mess. I mean at least roll up the carpet and put it to the side to clean it. That is gross, I can't imagine what else is not sanitized in there. It's obvious that the people running the place are not parents. Lastly, I have had better food at movie theaters. If I am going to sit around and watch my kid play I would rather the food be catered to me not him. read more

I love bringing my children to this place, I have a two year old and a three year old. They always enjoy playing here and their food is pretty good as well. There have been off and on times with staff each time I come here, but overall it's a pretty good experience. I don't expect the staff to really interact with the kids since they are supposed to just make sure that the place is running nicely, not entertain the children. It can be a little pricey once you add in food, so I try to stay for as long as I can. The only bad experience I have ever had is with other parents (a child has actual hit my kid and no parent was around to be seen, so we had to notify the staff who couldn't even find the parent either) and the dance floor occasionally not being in service. Overall, this is the best indoor playground I have found so far! read more

Just got back from the second birthday party we've attended here. They've started holding "laser tag" on Thursdays and Saturdays - this is a really bad idea (that costs $5 extra). I'm not sure if they didn't have enough laser tag units, or if there are laws about how many kids they can have in there when the lights are off. But there were between 10 and 20 kids stuck OUTSIDE the playspace in an unruly line, waiting to go in, the entire night. This defeats the ENTIRE PURPOSE of this place - which is to have a place where parents can go, hang out, drink a beer, watch a game, and have their kids wear themselves out in a safe, fun environment. As a result of this, there were lots of angry parents, annoyed that their kids were stuck outside the space. This nearly led to a fight between one of the parents and one of the employees (with one of the kids physically between them at the time), and another instance where one of the employees pushed a father trying to get his kid out of the space. Bad scene. Add to this the fact that the pizza (and presumably the rest of the food) here is pretty bad, the service between slow and really slow, and what you have is a really, really good idea that is failing as a result of bad management decisions, bad on-the-floor management, lack of training, and phoning in the food and service. Credit where due - the guy working the entrance to the playspace tonight was awesome - handled the kids well, organized the line, was positive the whole time. And the previous time we were here (during the day), the staff working the playspace were great as well. However, the food and the service were bad both times, and tonight was just a total fail, with overtones of endangering the kids. This place is 75% of the way there (in terms of the playspace itself and the idea), but that last 25% (getting the food, the service, and the staff generally to where they need to be) is a killer. read more

This place is a madhouse on weekends. It's a pretty cool play space for kids to burn off some energy, but I wouldn't call it a go-to spot for my family. My kids are fairly mellow--they like to run and climb and jump, but they aren't spastic, loud, or aggressive. This is definitely a place for high-energy kids who can shove and be shoved. Not great for the under 3 set, but I would recommend it for older kids, especially off hours. There's something totally frenetic about this place and if your kids aren't into that type of play/energy, it can be overwhelming. Didn't try the food, so can't comment there... All in all, a fun way to spend the day, assuming you know what you're in for. I would note that part of the problem I had with this place was the ease with which parents let their kids run wild. I don't have any problem with that in the big kid area, but the toddler area really should require some parental supervision. There were a few kids way older than 3 in there hitting, pushing, shoving, and hoarding. Not such a big deal with the older kiddos, but with babies and young toddlers, parents really should put down the beer/iphone, etc. and try their hands at actually parenting their children. read more

Never coming here again - Playdate Café please do better this was disappointing. We went recently with the knowledge ahead of time that the concept was quite appealing and that our child having been in similar place spaces out of state would love this space. First off the concept is amazing for both the play area and the café but everything falls short on the execution. The play space is very poorly lit and in some areas quite dark especially around the toddler area. This makes is really uncomfortable for some kids and also makes it hard to observe where your kids are even if you are close by. The play space also is taking up quite a small area of the venue and its really a tight fit and very crowded in there due to that lack of spaciousness that kids really need. In fact if you have to get in there to recover a hurt child then its going to be tough and I am a pretty petite person. If you have a toddler you have to stay in really close proximity because they are very likely to get hurt unintentionally but some very excited kids. The equipment and all the structures need maintenance and repair and are in very poor shape. Now lets talk about the café and the food. Oh my.. that food may look healthy or seem healthy but its quite a disaster. Please don't be fooled by this you are not getting a meal in this place they don't have cooks they have people who heat up and assemble things from frozen bags and sometimes will serve the food cold and still frozen. The one extra star I have on here is because they have wine and beer and well you'll need it. By all means if you have a 6+ year old and need somewhere to go to have them super occupied and out of your hair to give you a couple of hours to do some work on your laptop or device then this place might be totally worth it for you. read more

My daughter loves it here. We love it too because we can let her play her heart out and we can just relax and have a beer! It's nice because she can't go anywhere. The staff is great. Especially, the manager with the shaved head and well groomed beard. Lol. Some of the kids suck, but it's not PlayDate Sea's fault. I laugh at the food reviews on yelp. They don't have a gourmet chef here...weird?! Good snacks for the little one's and the pizza is actually pretty good. We aren't going to Play date Sea to eat! I'm going to exhaust my child into submission. I know you parents with a spirited child can relate. If your looking to wear your child down for the night and share a beverage with your other half...go here! Let your little one or one's go play to their hearts content, order a bottle of wine for $25 ish, or a beer, and relax. They usually have a few good beers and ciders on tap. Beers are a bit pricey, but I'm willing to pay for it considering. read more

I am relatively new to this whole experience as my son is only 16 months but based on my limited experience I thought this place could do better. I was able to pay pretty quickly once I arrived and I have to say I was a little shocked that there was no outside food or drink allowed. I still had 1/2 my coffee left from earlier so I sat near the door to finish. I think, later on, I even saw a mother getting scolded for what looked like an outside lunchbox that she had sitting on the table in front of her child. I do like that they only charge a flat rate as I know other places charge by the amount of time you're there. Toddler Area: I didn't go inside the larger structure recommended for 4 and up but my son and I hung out in the toddler area for quite a while. I felt it was a little on the small side but I did like that everything was was cushioned from the bars to the floor and pretty accessible for a small child. My son had no complaints considering he played for an 1.5 hours. It was a little on the dark side and the door that shuts to the area is very easy for those small toddlers who can reach to get out and run off. It also felt quite warm in this area and I was wearing a tank top. Staff: It did also seem concerning to me that things I had read about this place did state there were staff to help supervise the play areas to allow parents to partake in the cafe area, however, I didn't really see anyone supervising either area. Not to mention there weren't many of the parents supervising their children either. I don't know how many older kids I informed that the toddler area was not a good place for them to be. Why am I instructing other people's children on the rules? Shame on you! I don't think the intent of this place was meant for the parents to be completely hands off once you arrive. Kudos to those parents who I saw in both areas supervising and asisting their children. The number of staff seemed limited to me considering it is now summer break for children and it was fairly crowded the entire time I was there and this was on a Thursday (6/20) late am to early pm. Food: Let's see, where do I start. I waited behind someone in line for a good while and since I was the last person in line and my son was trying to walk out the door, I went to grab him. No sooner had I walked away the cashier disappeared and I stood there waiting. A staff person walked by me outside the counter towards the play area stating somebody would be with me. I waited a few more minutes when I looked into the kitchen and caught someone's eye. She came out and took my order. Not a few minutes later the cashier came up to me to let me know that they were out of grapes due to the large crowd. I thought OK, we will substitute however there aren't really any options outside of grapes for a small child that is just starting to get his molars. Yet, no outside food or drink is allowed. I opted for the PB&J for my son with hummus, snap peas and milk. I couldn't believe how much jelly was on this sucker. It was squeezing out all sides and I think less could be used. However, I would recommend that you have smaller portion sizes for smaller toddlers as well as other nutritious items that small children can eat. My son could only eat 1/2 the sandwich, the tiny portion of hummus, the snap peas were too hard for him to chew and swallow. I had a ceasar salad with chicken. I have eaten ceasars all over the city and I actually like the dressing they used. I was a little bummed that they came out and told me that they didn't have enough romaine due to the large crowds so would I like spinach or mixed medley. Spinach is just wrong but the medley with the remaining romaine was fine and the chicken was just okay. I would think that the business would have been more prepared knowing when school gets out and checking the weather forecast. I also just happened to notice that after we had sat down at our table there was food all over the floor. Not just crumbs but actual slices of cheese and crackers along with crumbs. Couldn't this have been cleaned up? Not necessarily by the staff but by the apparently lazy parents who could have easily picked up after their child. Geez! I didn't use the wifi and I did see the TVs but do not recall seeing subtitles since there was no sound. I thought it was a little hilarious that there was only one trash can in the entire place outside of the bathrooms. It would have been nice to have a few more strategically placed. I will say that I have no complaints about the bathrooms; they were nice and clean. I would come back again and recommend to others if I saw that there were some good improvements. read more

It's not a huge place, but it gives the kids a place to burn off energy during bad weather. They even have food and drinks. Maybe not the best food, but it works in a pinch. I'd only give it 3 stars except for the fact that they offer kids play free on Monday nights so that bumps it up a star. read more

Five stars for the play structures. Four stars for the menu. The pricing is absolutely fair. To this who complain, come on, where else can you buy a little cup of celery or grapes for $1? But what brings down the rating is the slow service. Really, it's not just sloow, it's sloooooooowwwwww (say it out loudly as long as you can and do it at least 150 times and you will begin to get a hint of just how incredibly non-existent their sense of urgency is. Want two pretzels? Prepare to wait half an hour or so. In fact I'm writing this while waiting. One staffer went outside of protocol to give our starving kid a handful of grapes while the rest of the 6-people sfaff looked confused. Pack your own snacks and smuggle it in. I brought my toddler here for the first time today. What a fun place! My child didn't stop running around for hours. I'm sure it was just heaven for all of the kids. I was a bit shocked at how many people were there. Once I got comfortable, I followed my child around the play area. Great fun together! The coffee, juice, and pizza was amazingly delicious! The staff were nice, as well. It's important to have a patient staff when there are kids. Only one drawback was the lack of parking. read more

I've taken our two boys here (6 and 3) four or five times in the last year and it's a great place for them to release some energy and enjoy playing in the chutes, shooting the foam ball guns, etc. when it's crowded, we have not enjoyed ourselves. However, come in the evening and the place is wide open. Entry fees are creeping up and the food prices are pretty astronomical for the quality which is above average at most. The place is reasonably maintained and they seem well staffed generally speaking. Overall a nice once-in-a-while place, especially off-peak, but the entry cost and food prices are tough to swallow. I do understand they need to turn a profit and rent cannot be cheap in SLU/Cascade. But hopefully they keep things in order with the pricing. read more
