One of my best memories is sitting in the car, eating a bun kabob and sharing a coke with my food partner in crime.

Since we were set on Indian cuisine, we decided to stick it out, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The drinks were tasty, refreshing, and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was also some of the best I've experienced in quite a while, which made the long wait much easier to overlook. If you enjoy Indian food, I highly recommend Aga's Restaurant. Just be sure to avoid Saturday nights unless you're prepared for a very long wait!

AMAZING!!! I have…read morebeen here a handful of times and finally convinced my husband and his family to try it for the first time. I joined the waitlist online before arriving because if you know Aga's, you know there's always a long line of people waiting outside! It took about 40 minutes for our group to be seated, but once we were sat down, the service was pretty quick and the staff was very nice. We started off with a pitcher of mango lassis for the table. It was delicious! It's basically like a really thick mango smoothie. It is pretty filling though, so I suggest taking it slow to save room for the main courses. I'd give it a 9/10 -- it would've been a 10/10 if it had been a little colder. The chicken lollipops are a MUST every time I go. The color is a little intimidating because you'd assume they're extremely spicy, but they really aren't. They're super flavorful on their own, but the side of chili sauce takes them to another level. 10/10. We tried the dynamite shrimp for the first time, and they were amazing. The shrimp were crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. 10/10. We accidentally ordered the wrong thing and ended up with the samosa chaat (not pictured). We were a little skeptical at first, but ended up pleasantly surprised. The combination of flavors complemented each other really well. 8/10. For the entrees, we ordered the chicken Peshawari karahi, chicken tikka masala, signature chops, and Aga's platter. Everything was great. For beginners, the chicken tikka masala is a great choice. It's a tomato-based curry with a little bit of spice. 10/10. The chicken Peshawari karahi was my first time trying it, and I loved the flavor of the curry. Something about it tasted very homey. I just wish they had a boneless version because it would definitely become my new go-to dish. 9.5/10. I didn't really get to try much of the grilled bbq entrees, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed them. 9.5/10. We paired everything with 1 large white rice and 4 garlic naans, which was enough for our table of 5. Overall, I love this place and will definitely be back! 10/10. Note: we did try the Fresh Paan outside, unfortunately it was not my cup of tea. But the floral notes left a really nice fresh feeling to my mouth lol.

Went here after seeing a 30ft line at Aga's (about a mile away) on a Sunday noon, which turned out…read moreto be an unforeseen blessing! We had a plane to catch later that day, so were elated to find that they were serving a buffet lunch, i.e. no long wait to order food and wait for it to be prepared and brought to our table, as happened at Aga's the last time we went---a whopping 30-45 minute wait! A tell-tale sign of good things in any Indian restaurant: the large venue was 90% full and we were the only folks NOT from the Indian subcontinent or Middle East! The buffet was actually high quality, including two goat dishes which we loved. (All too often, Indian buffets are exclusively chicken and vegetarian, both very meh but undoubtedly cheaper for the restaurant.) Servers were gracious, lovely and attentive young women...there was nothing not to like! Will definitely come back next time I'm visiting Houston. Would be curious to try their regular menu. Overall I'd say their food quality was very close or equal to that of Aga's. And of course, being a buffet, you can have much more of it if you like. Everything was good: appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. Lastly, there was plenty of parking, another plus vs Aga's which is in a strip mall with lots of surrounding businesses so you have to hunt a bit to find a spot, and usually not very close by.

This was one of the only places willing to accomodate us last minute and they did not disappoint! This was my first time coming to the food truck park and I especially came because of this truck. The staff was so nice I really contemplated about this rating for this review, but when I think about the amount of money paid for my main entree and how I couldn't eat half of it and the spice levels didn't match my expectation, I came to this. A 3.5 would have been more accurate quite honestly but alas, yelp has its system. I ordered the bake and fried fish and the doubles. I asked for spicy on the doubles but they didn't taste too spicy - instead I used the sauce included on my bake n fish (possibly had some scotch bonnet peppers) and it was excellent. The bake and fish came as tacos - I don't think I realized that. It was good, but only two small tacos. The french fries were unfortunately burnt and therefore dry and inedible. I gave up on eating them. We were in a hurry, otherwise, I would have chatted with the staff about possibly getting some new fries. I would give this another try --I'd likely try a few other trucks first or at least have something to accompany my meal in addition to what I order from Krave.

And lastly followed by ghee khichidi or either rice or millet and one more rice item, sometimes even plain rice. After u r really totally done and plates cleared. They come around with coffee or tea! If only you were sitting in a garden with 100's of tables overlooking the mountains and had noone waiting for u to clear so their can occupy the seats.... remember even those people waiting would have starved the whole day ....
