This is the worst I've personally have experienced. Straight to it. Pictures shown is what we left. We couldn't force this food down.. Paloma drink, nothing at all. Tasted like a watered down sunrise. Hot wings, no flavor at all. How do you not make good wings?? A NY steak in NY! Tasteless!! Chicken tenders, these were dry dry dry. Similar to any number of "IRISH" bars in Manhattan. Good beer list both tried and true lagers and the new craft beers the kids like. limited but good "pub food" menu. Burgers, sandwiches, Shepherds pie etc. all we had tasted fine, nothing great but hit the spot. service not the most speedy but there was only the bartender acting as server too at 2:00 PM on a rainy Saturday. This place was alright. Had a few drinks and domino eat when we first arrived while waiting for our hotel room. I checked in with yelp, and it gave me 10% off which I was happily surprised! Unfortunately the bare tender told me it was 'old', so I could not use it. I didn't appreciate that. She could of gotten a manager to at least act like she cared. French onion soup looked delicious, but was a little watery. It was ok though. I got the cobb salad which was very good. My boyfriend got the roasted Brussels sprouts. Delicious! One of dozens of Irish bars in the vicinity of Times Square, which reflects in the prices. Service is friendly and attentive even when it's busy. I've eaten here many times and not been disappointed. Food is standard pub fare, good value and helpful in soaking up the beer. This isn't the place to come for a quiet, romantic meal. The proteins all come out warm/freshly cooked, greens fresh, and dressing light and paired well. The fries are double crisped, really good as well. For a neighborhood dive bar, not bad, I say. Lots of long tables, perfect for a game watch with your posse or your alumni group. Get a pitcher or several. Only critique is that their big screen TVs are not quite what I would consider to be big screen TVs. read more

So I was a little disappointed when this is where I ended up for lunch-after all I was in midtown right next to little Korea and all sorts of fun restaurants-but everywhere we tried to go was either only serving drinks or too pricey (I was out shopping for bridal accessories which anyone who has ever looked at veils knows can run into the thousands if you're not careful) so here it was. Plus I was with my mom who wasn't feeling adventurous. I had been here before but only to down Guinness' with friends when I first turned 21-this is an NYC classic as there is one in every tourist hot spot. All of this is to say I spent a great couple of hours chomping bar food, sipping sangria and watching ufc with my mom (we're very traditional ; ). The chicken fingers were good (who can go wrong wth chicken fingers) and the chicken tacos were awesome-really fresh yet spicy! The bar was pretty empty (unlike the scene on a Saturday night) and the bartender was really cool! She told us about all their deals (which were a lot!) and gave us the happy hour price even though we ordered sangrias (which were not on the deal? Not sure lol there were so many random specials). I can't say enough about this place! We came in super late night and stayed until they closed at 4am. The staff was extremely friendly and engaged us with conversation, dancing, and a water bottle flipping contest. The drinks were good and they created some delicious pink shots that certainly kicked up our nights. It's small and intimate so patrons talked with one another and it's one of the few spots open late in the area, although the kitchen closes earlier. The BEST Dallas Cowboys bar I have ever been to! We come to the city for work at least a dozen times a year and we're finally able to make a Sunday kickoff so we searched for the best Dallas bar and we were not disappointed. We were immediately welcomed and told where to go and given the full run down by Tave. The bar staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and easy going which is a huge bonus being in midtown Manhattan. The bar was fully decorated and every TV was on the game with the volume loud enough to hear perfectly but quiet enough to still talk Cowboys everything with the person next to you. Giveaways, book signings and paraphernalia was the icing on the cake. I suggest every Dallas fan stop by here for a game! read more

I was in the area and decided to have lunch at an old school pub. The name piqued my attention to make my choice. I love the theater and good scripts. I was quite satisfied. Not only the food was good (I had a mushroom burger done to perfection), but the ambiance as well (although there was background music and tv sets on, it didn't feel noisy or disruptive). We went on a Sunday night for Father's Day while visiting NYC from out of town. The food was delicious, and the place was nice, but we were way overcharged for the food and drinks we purchased. We added up what we ordered from the menu and found that we were charged an extra $43.00. The server offered us two liquor shots and two shots with juice in them for our son's, we thought they were on the house since we did not ask for them but we must have been charged for them. So the bill for 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, 3 entrees and 2 deserts should have been just over $130.00 but we were billed $175.00. With tip, $200. Absolutely insane! Would not go back or recommend this place as the overcharge was shady on the servers part. Too bad because the food was really good. read more

The filet was a nice thick slice for a sandwich and so delicious. The pork dumplings were yummy. And the fish and chips are the best fish and chips we've had in NYC. The pub was decorated beautifully for Christmas but service was subpar and omg the drink prices here are outrageous! I know we're in NYC but $9 for a pint of bud light. Crazy! This was by far the most expensive pub we frequented on our trip. Everywhere else pints ranged from $5-7. read more

Love this pub! Spent the weekend in NYC and we stayed at a hotel a few doors down from playwright. This was our first stop after checking in. We had a great server, Megan. She is so friendly and hilarious. Drinks were good, appetizers (nachos and quesadillas) were delicious. Next time in NYC, we're going to be sure to have a full meal there.
