I stopped in for something quick and was pleasantly surprised! I had a cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry cream cheese and wow! It was the most delicious bagel I've ever had. I was worried it would be dense because it was so big, but it was so soft and fluffy on the inside only to find out they are freshly made here every morning. This place is a must try. I am not a big bagel-eater...I probably indulge about 7 times a year. And that is why the bagel better be damn good when I give in to temptation. Plaza Bagels and Deli did not disappoint. The everything bagel was soft and the light vegetable cream cheese was definitely made in-house. I could taste the freshness of the vegetables. They were actually crunchy. Is this how vegetable cream cheese is supposed to taste? If so, then I've been misled for a long friggen time! And their decaf coffee? Delicious. Parking is not an issue. Plaza Bagels and Deli shares a strip mall with Mandees, the Dollar Store, and the tanning salon in the ShopRite plaza. They appear to have a plethora of options for lunch also. So rather than have my food delivered I decided to get up and go support this local bagel spot. I had my 4 lb puppy in my arms who was sleeping as I walked through the door of the empty "deli". I was "greeted" by a woman sitting at a table stuffing her face who mumbled something about no dogs. Hard to understand her with her mouth full of food. The place was empty at 9:30 am but she said no dogs. Wow ok. This is why I prefer delivery. Local businesses wake up. You're losing business because people have more options with delivery and we can avoid your rude workers. But yet every business begs you not to Uber. But then they do this. Smh. Sad. read more

Service is quick. I was in and out with my egg and cheese bagel in less than 5 minutes. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a items on the menu that will keep bringing me back here should I ever skip breakfast at home and need a bite to grab before work. Plain bagel was good, egg was yummy and the cheese seemed to Yellow American cheese. Huge portion of pretty good meat with some OK sauerkraut and a good dollop of Russian dressing, not bad either in terms of flavors. Solid. The bagel the other person had was hot. The bagels are good but, the service isn't ... the employees don't listen to my husband and give him an attitude every time he goes in there and asks for extra cream cheese to be put on his bagel. The last time and another time before the employee lied to my husband and told him she put extra cream cheese on his bagel but, when he got home found that there wasn't extra cream cheese and had to drive back and the owner apologized and gave him a container of cream cheese and said the next time he came in he would take care of him. My husband went back this morning and bought two bagels and was ignored by the owner and got an attitude by that same employee. This business needs employees with good customer service skills, not employees that think their doing the customer a favor by taking their order. read more

I've been coming here for a while but honestly after today I don't think I'll be coming back. The customer service is terrible! I paid with a card and the lady pretty much threw the receipt at me, if I wasn't already running late i would've addressed it. Ok this is my 4th time trying this place out and definitely be my last. As you walk in there is no friendly atmosphere with the employees. They don't listen or pay attention unless you tip big or Hispanic. I am far from prejudice but I'm not sure if the owner who is Korean even cares or just pays cheap. The staff is rude. I asked for a sesame bagel scooped and toasted with cream cheese she repeated this to me twice. Hmmmm what I received was a plain semi toasted scooped with very little cream cheeses and paid $2.25. The place looks very dirty I saw home fries already prepared so close to the filthy floor not even covered. Yuck!!! If you want to go in and take a chance go ahead however I would rather go elsewhere where I'm not chancing my health and have better service. read more

I have never came back here and will never come back here. This is my true and honest experience. My boyfriend and I were here for something quick since we go to the college literally 5 minutes from here. This was a while ago but I want people to be aware of this. I ordered a bagel here while my boyfriend ordered a chicken sandwich but did not want any vegetables or sauces on it. The woman at the front seemed nice but had a bit of an attitude. I tried not to mind it. My bagel came out just fine. However, the problem was with my boyfriend's sandwich. My boyfriend and I saw with our own eyes that the man making his sandwich did not wear gloves. We are aware though that some places don't use gloves, but for making sandwiches, it's definitely a must. The sandwich came out and there were vegetables and sauce on it. My boyfriend kindly told the woman that he didn't want vegetables on it. What ends up happening is that the woman brought the sandwich to the guy making the sandwich. He uses his bare hands to REMOVE the vegetables and scraped the sauce off the sandwich. They didn't even consider making a new sandwich. What happens if you're allergic to something? My boyfriend saw it and pointed it out to the woman because he was fed up after that when they gave him back the sandwich. He just paid for our food and threw the sandwich right in the garbage while we were leaving. I can understand my boyfriend's frustration at that time because that is completely unsanitary, rude, and seems to be a health violation. If you've had a good experience here, that's good for you. However, I will not come back here knowing that they do that to food. I try my best to give honest reviews and this is what my review and experience was while at this place. read more

I usually get the taylor ham, egg whites, cheese, ketchup, salt and pepper, all on a roll. But if that doesn't suit you try one of their many sandwiches, wraps, and my favorite, a gyro. Soft and doughy deliciousness. They even cater to my nephew's weird order of bacon on a toasted butter bagel without judgment. If you're not a fan of heavy butter and cream cheese, let them know.
