We went to Cheesecake Factory, and everyone's meal was absolutely delicious! It was a busy day since it was Veterans Day, but the staff handled everything smoothly. Our waiter was fantastic patient, friendly, and super attentive. My friends can be pretty particular when ordering, and he made sure every random request was taken care of perfectlyfrom "light dressing" to "heavy dressing" and even "shaken, not stirred." One of my friends got the Cobb Salad, and it looked fresh and full of flavor definitely a hit. Another ordered the tacos and couldn't stop raving about how good they were. I went with the Skinny Burger and a side salad, and it was cooked perfectlyjuicy but light, exactly what I wanted. It's really got something for everyone for a meal and for cheesecake. I have been a couple of times for lunch, of which of course they have their own pretty thorough items for that midday hit. Parking here always seems pretty crowded, but if you're avoiding the most peak times, you can find something nearby. The service is pretty good (until the end waiting for the check) and the bread, like everything else, has some variety for every palate. You should pay attention to the calorie count, especially if you want to also indulge in cheesecake because some of the dishes are doozies. The lemon shrimp over angel hair is a great and filling Skinnylicious meal. The salad/flatbread combo is enough to split into two meals (eat the salad and some flatbread, then take the rest to go). The bee sting flatbread features all the meats with a little honey sweetness. That's to say nothing about the cheesecakes. The seasonal Peach Perfect really lived up to its name, and the Tiramisu is sweet and unique and also on the lower calorie side. You can't go wrong with any of them though. I can't remember the last time I visited this location, if ever. Arrived with my friend shortly after 12:00 noon. We approached the hostess station with the hostess standing there alone, who completely ignored us! We had to ask to be seated. The hostess grabbed some menus and walked us down to the far end of the bar without saying a word. She gave us our menus and then walked back to the hostess station without a word having been said. The restaurant was basically empty. With no one around, after 10 minutes our server finally showed up. He had the energy of a deflated balloon! While he said the right words, there was nothing behind them. We placed our order and after what seemed to be a reasonable amount of time, someone else brought our lunch. We never saw our server again until he brought us the check. No one inquired if our meals were okay, if we needed anything after we were served, or if we wanted a refill on our $4.95 + tax & tip weak iced teas! My companion had asked for no croutons and extra tomatoes in her garden salad. While there was no credit for the lack of croutons, there was a $2.50 additional charge for what looked to be one and a half sliced Campari tomatoes added to the salad! My lettuce wrap tacos were nicely assembled and fine, but I certainly wasn't protein overloaded with maybe an ounce of chicken in each taco! Overall, the food was fine, although I believe the extra 20% charge for 1 1/2 Campari tomatoes, and the $12.70 final cost of 2 glasses of weak iced tea was out of line. Today I tried an impressive honey-truffled chicken, accompanied by delicious, a flavorful home style mashed potatoes, and some crispy asparagus. The noise was lower than usual today because it was a Tuesday; my server provided excellent service. The food was delicious. I brought home a wonderful mango cheesecake to share with my husband. The food was delicious. Our waiter we had was really nice and helpful. The food as usual was good, and pretty light. The low stars has nothing to do with my server or the food, but rather a different server who at the time, was standing in the corner, literally doing nothing. The only thing that was a little annoying was we had asked a server who was chilling in the corner for a high chair, had a bit of an attitude, but said sure, stood around for a few seconds and then walked away and didn't show up. Just straight ignored the request and pretty much went into hiding and only showed up after she had a table AFTER we got our food. I had to wait for a different server to come and asked them instead. (It ended up being our server). Typically I wouldn't mind, but it wasn't anything unreasonable and you had NO Tables. You just stood in the corner and did nothing. And last complaint our server didn't take our menus until like maybe 10 minutes into us eating our actual meal so we had to deal with those big long menus at our table while we're eating. We had: -Thai Chili Shrimp (Crispy Shrimp Tossed with Spicy Aioli) - this wasn't bad. The spicy aioli was pretty good. -Buffalo Blasts (Chicken, Cheese and Our Spicy Buffalo Sauce all Stuffed in a Spiced Wrapper and Fried until Crisp) - this was the worst one. We didn't realize that the wonton wrapper would be battered, so it was very heavy and oily. We ended up peeling off the wrapper and eating the filling but the filling wasn't any better. -Housemade Meatballs (Certified Angus Beef®, Italian Sausage and Parmesan, Tomato Sauce and Whipped Ricotta) - this was the best one. It's a safe app to go with. -Crispy Brussels Sprouts (Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Crispy Leaves Tossed with Bacon and Vermont Maple-Butter Glaze) - flavorful but oily If you plan to go for the happy hour apps, I would recommend sticking to basics. We were at TCF for Saturday lunch. The restaurant was almost house full, as usual. Good thing they have lots of sitting area available, including the huge bar in front. I got the strawberry limenade, always a refreshing drink. The crab meat balls lost their mojo, it wasn't as good as it used to be. The shrimp tacos were good. 4 Stars on my visit here. I committed to coming here from Brooklyn NY as it was a convenient meeting point for my family to celebrate my cousins birthday. Some live in Western NJ, and Long Island. Before I came here last week I read several reviews that were not very good. I have been to Cheesecake Factory before and it is not my usually choice, but you cannot beat their cheesecake! Just remember, you will designate 1,000 to almost 1,800 calories for desert alone:-)) I called the restaurant and spoke with Dennis one of the managers because I was concerned that the air conditioning was reported to not be working. He was very nice and was concerned. He confirmed they had some issues, although they were working on it. I can report it was cool and there were 14 of us. I was pleasantly surprised, everyone was really nice that day. Our waitress Nina was really great, remembered all the orders, refilled the water glasses, changed out plates and silverware, and was engaging. The runners, cashiers, managers, and everyone was really pleasant, no long delays for the food, even with 14 of us. I cannot remember everyone's orders and did not take photos of all the dishes, although everybody was very happy. I was surprised that the lunch portion of grilled salmon appeared as large as the regular dinner size. It was fresh, was cooked well and was fairly priced. I read another review that was posted about not catering to dietary needs or elderly people. We had a few senior citizens in the party including one grandmother in her early 90s. She had a very good time and I'm told looked forward to coming to Cheesecake Factory. They have a wide variety of dishes, good selection of lunch size portions if you do not want a lot of food or want to watch your calories. They also have a "SkinnyLicious" menu for those who want to watch their calorie intake. Some of us did have the salmon, including the SkinnyLicious version. We had the Americana Cheeseburger, Factory Chopped Salad, Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta, Cajun Jambalaya Pasta, Louisiana Chicken Pasta, the Bistro Burger and lots of drinks from the bar. It is really great to take the kids as well. They have small plates and snacks, Appetizers, Flatbread Pizza, Salads, Lunch specials, Burgers and Sandwiches, Pastas, Specialties, Fish & Seafood, Steaks, Eggs & Omelets, Brunch on Saturday & Sunday, Happy Hour and of course deserts. My favorite was the Chocolate Tower Truffle cake which is one of the few deserts that are not their signature cheesecake. This has never been among my faves; never a place I'd choose if I were asked. That said, I've eaten here and at other Cheesecake venues. So when my friends and I picked a date, this mall was a convenient place to meet, they each from 2 different parts of Bergen County and I coming out from the City by train. I wound up ordering from their "Skinnylicious" menu; most of their food is caloric way beyond a day's worth much less one meal. Anyway, that was possibly one of the best choices I could have made and one of the best meals I've ever eaten at that chain, much to my surprise. They offer soft tacos, shrimp or chicken, served with a dish of lightly marinated vegetables. You get 3 tacos, and they were not skimpy, with slices of lime and a wee dish of a slightly spicy - I like spicy! - sauce. My shrimp tacos were very tasty, I must admit, and the veggies were a good complement. I had some of the dark bread with a bit of butter, a cup of coffee, and that was a satisfying lunch! So - if you're in a mall somewhere, and Cheesecake Factory is one of the chain choices, you might consider going. After Church dinner with hubby was a great way to end our day at The Cheesecake Factory! No wait time to be seated as we arrived. Our server came over to greet us once we sat. Bread and drinks were ordered and placed in a timely manner. Our server Cristal was very attentive. Although she didn't recommend any dishes she still gave us some input on what we wanted as an appetizer which was the Sweet Corn Cakes! I ordered the Fish Tacos with the white rice and beans and hubby ordered the Korean fried chicken with brown rice. Everyone was nice and our server was very attentive. but the food really lacked salt/seasoning in almost all the dishes. We started off with two appetizers. We had buffalo wings and spinach dip. I kept putting salt on the spinach dip because it just tasted like none was really in it. For my entrée, I had the herb crusted salmon. Again it just didn't seem to have any salt. Today i went to this Cheesecake Factory and the food was amazing! It's a Saturday, so i expected it to be a wait. We were quoted about 15-20 minutes but I believe it ended up being 10-15. Thankfully this location is inside a mall, so in the event you have a long wait, you can occupy yourself doing other things. They send you a text when your table is ready so at least you don't have to be inside to be notified. There is plenty of seating. They have some tables outside in the front, and also outside of the actual restaurant on an inside patio, inside the mall. When we first sat down we were greeted with water and bread. The bread and butter is always warm and amazing. Our waiter was very nice and helpful especially as we had two young children. The crab balls and the Cajun jambalaya pasta was a 10/10. I think i could've done without the brussel sprouts this time. They were a little dry. I love the menu at cheesecake because there are so many options. The staff IN hackensack was very rude, especially the person in charge of delivering Uber Eats and DoorDash orders. I mistakenly went to the bathroom and ended up in the kitchen, and the woman who was delivering those orders stopped me and asked what I was doing there, saying it was for picking up orders, not for customers. She should have said it in a different tone; it was quite frightening. I felt like I was going to steal something. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but it's the night shift during the week. The first time, the waiter was rushing us to eat so we would leave sooner even though it wasn't close to closing time. The second time, no waiters came to our table for 20 minutes since the time we were initially seated. It also gets very crowded because this location is connected to a mall. It's pretty loud too, so the ambiance is not great. * Fried Mac and Cheese 8/10 - The mac and cheese had good creaminess, but I think the coating was a tad too salty. * Thai Chili Shrimp 5/10 - The shrimp tasted a bit fishy and the batter was mushy, not crunchy * Eggroll Sampler 6/10 - Most of the eggrolls came out soft and not crispy, which makes me think they were sitting out. Each eggroll costs over 4 dollars, and they're definitely not worth that price. * Fresh Banana Cream Cheesecake 9/10 - My favorite dish of the meal, not too sweet or heavy compared to their other cheesecakes Overall, the food was very mid, especially for the price you're paying. Stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday around 1 pm while in Paramus for some shopping. This plaza was a sh*t show. So much traffic going in and out and people trying to find parking spots. There is no shortage of restaurants in this shopping center however CCF was PACKED. We beelined to the bar area and got two of the last open bar seats. CCF's menu is huge but they have 1 page of lunch specials and they are a good deal since the portions are still big. Sadly, that day they were out of their beloved, staple brown bread. For our entrees, I got the bbq ranch chicken salad and my partner got the soup, salad, sandwich special. The salad was a great size and tasty. My partners loves CCF's chicken salad. We took a Cinnabon Cinnamon swirl cheesecake slice to go - so so good! Service was fine at the bar - not sure how the experience would have been sitting at a table since they were slammed. My partner took me to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory a few weeks ago. This was our first time at this TCF as well as the Shops at Riverside. It was so nice! I thought this location was pretty large, with lots of seating areas. There was even a faux-outdoor bistro table section by the restaurant entrance accessible from inside the mall. We had a two-person booth inside that workweek evening. Our waiter was friendly. He brought warm bread to the table while we looked over the menus. He checked in with us throughout our meal.
