As for delivery - just yesterday I saw their old delivery guy blow through a stop sign in town where parents were dropping off their kids. When I gave the driver a shocked look he flipped me off. The only time I ordered for delivery the guy gave me an attitude as well. So if you want just average pizza with lots of bad attitude, come to Plaza Pizza. I eat here frequently and the food is amazing! The only bad thing I can say about them is, if you have a complicated order, there will often be something messed up with what you've ordered. I work an international parcel company and today my coworkers and I decided to order for delivery. I was craving for a grilled chicken Caesar salad so I had my coworker order it for me. They ordered a large pie. I was right next to my colleague when I heard her say to the woman on the phone said "grilled chicken Caesar salad". When the food arrived I got nothing but a Caesar salad. Nothing but lettuce and dressing (I didn't want croutons). So I called the lady and she admitted that it was her mistake and that she send me another salad. While I was waiting a long time, I got hungry and started eating the salad. When the delivery guy arrived with the correct order, he asked for the salad that they messed up on. I told him that I ate it. He called his manager and told him that he will charge me $8.25 for th grilled chicken salad. They claimed that wanted the salad back and for me not to eat it. I didn't hear that! So, he is telling me to pay for the salad that he messed up on and waiting an hour for and pay for the salad that they corrected!!! I am not doing that! They messed up!! Why do I have to pay for their error!! They are a bunch of cheapskates!! I will never order from them again and I will tell everyone in the company and Secaucus not to order from them. As a local in the area, I have been coming here for a while, but in the past year it has declined in service and food quality. The pizza is good, but they are very overpriced and mix up the orders frequently. Do not attempt to order take out, because they have an answering service that screws up the order or forgets to even place the order. This place gets pretty busy during lunch so grab a table if you can while your friend puts in the order. The pizza is good & so are the salads (except I suggest getting the dressing on the side because it tastes weird sometimes). Being a Secaucus resident for several decades, this place was a regular favorite. In fact, in recent years, we were ordering from them several times per month. We were quite the regulars. There was a grumpy guy who answered the phone - meh, who cares? He got our orders right, and was never outright rude - just grumpy. Then, there was the really, genuinely nice guy who'd occasionally answer the phones. I wish I had his name - it was always a pleasure to deal with him. Finally, though, SHE started to answer the phones. And, that's where we drew the line. What can I say? You can't cover up a snarky attitude by calling me 'honey' every third word. It won't work. And, when you tell me it's going to be an hour for delivery, why do you say it as if you want me to cancel my order? Do you? Well, your wish has been granted. After my last experience with Little Mary Sunshine, we ended our years-long devotion to the Plaza. It's been about 6 months since we've ordered, and we don't plan to return. Although we miss our favorite pizza, it's not worth taking the chance of having to deal with Miss Hannigan again. We bring our business to Il Forno or Natoli's now, where we've yet to be scolded or yelled at. The difference is amazing. read more

Ordered take out twice while staying in Secaucus on our NYC trip. Ordered their large pepperoni pizza the first time and the Sicilian pepperoni the next time. Pizza was very good and I think typical of NY pizza. I don't think you will be disappointed. Easy to get to from hotel for pickup but they also deliver. Sicilian is like a deep dish square pizza. The guy who said he would "travel 50 miles to have their pizza" is an idiot! The only good thing about this place is the location. If they weren't located in the plaza they would be out of business. Get it fresh or get it delivered. The 'specialty pizzas' sit there until all the slices are sold; I never recommend them. You're better off buying a small pizza made the way you want it. The regular slices are great; hot, good amount of cheese (just not quite enough to prevent the pie from cooking, and not so much that you can't fold the slice to eat it). There's better food and atitudes out there in the pizza eating world in Secaucus. This place is also expensive due to their high rent. Why would you pay at least 10% more then any other pizza place within 10 blocks? I have ordered stuff there for yrs off and on and there have been many mistakes, burnt, uncooked, not sent in delivery. The food is good, not great. attitudes sometimes is sarcastic and harsh. Workers constantly watching TV including the owner. Scratching their noses wiping their dirty hands on their dirty aprons then serving food. Don't get me wrong, all the other pizza places do the same in Secaucus sorry to say. I would say the cleanest as far as food serving would be Natoli's. I was a pizzaman for 16 years. I went there with 2 coupons that says $1 off any pizza which is not specific to whether a pie or a slice. I asked for 2 slices and wanted to use the coupon and Gus the owners brother said i cant use them for slices. i asked why not if its not specific and suggested to change the words to $1 off any pizza pie so other people would not misunderstand the coupon and he told me that he does not have to change anything with an attitude. VERY unprofessional as an owners brother who the real owner is John. Gus lied to me saying he is the owner. They have false advertisement and something will be done sooner or later. Food is good but overpriced.Having unprofessional staff is a major turnoff and there are other places to spend my american dollars in. They should actually care for losing customers since WITHOUT us there would be no business. SInce Secaucus has numerous selctions of professional restaurants, including La Mia Cucina, Ill forno, Secaucus Pizza, Natolie's, not to mention all the other resturants.
