I really want to like this place, however, the service is horrendous. We waited 15 minutes before being greeted at the table. Once we ordered, food came out perfect timing. Our drinks sat at the bar for some time. Long enough for me to go up to the bar to confirm it was ours to bring them back to the table. It is sad service is like this every time almost at all of the locations in North Texas. We kept seeing every other server or food runner but our server. This is the second time we come to this location. Both times we have called to be put in the waiting list. No one has communicated or directed us on what to do to be placed on the waiting list, I asked for the manager so she tells me there no such thing as put us on the waiting list and we couldn't wait to be on the waiting list on Yelp. So who understand theses rules. Then while I was speaking to the manager the other host employee continued to put people on the list prior before finishing my request to be on the list. The food was alright but the service was the worst I've experienced from a restaurant in a long time. We were seated almost immediately and then watched as two other tables were seated and placed orders before our server approached us to ask for our drink order. We went ahead and ordered an appetizer and dinner at the same time as we placed our drink order. It took close to 10 minutes for 2 of us to get our drinks and another 5 minutes or so before the drink for the 3rd party at our table to receive hers. About 45 minutes after being seated our dinner finally came out. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special. When our server came by to ask how everything was I asked her to take our appetizer off of our bill because we had really expected it to come out while we waited on or dinner. She did offer to expedite it but after I explained we had expected the appetizer to be served before the main meal she agreed to cancel the order and remove it from our bill. When our server asked about drink refill I asked for a refill and my 2 table mates declined. 5 minutes later our server was back with a refill for 1 of my table mates but not for me. I asked again and she said she'd be right back with my refill. About 5 minutes later we flagged her down to ask about my refill and she went ahead and grabbed my cup and said she would take care of it. Another 5 minutes later I had a fresh cup of water. I visited the restroom to wash the stick from the wings off of my fingers and there were puddles on the floor near the sink and both trashcans were overflowing and there were many used paper towels on the floor. The only positive regarding the bathroom was that when I mentioned it to staff on my way back to the table the guy I reported it to said he'd take care of it and immediately took off in that direction. As we prepared to leave our server returned with our credit card and our credit card receipt but did not leave a pen to sign the merchant copy with. We had to flag down another server to use his pen in order to sign our check. Maybe our experience was an outlier but I'd advise avoiding this place. read more

Love Pluckers. We are literally here once a week. Came in today to watch the Patriots game, as it's out of market. We got here at 1130ish and the place wasn't packed yet. The host asked us if we were here to watch a game and I told them the patriots. After showing them where the patriots game was on and requesting a specific table, the host led us to a corner table where the game wasn't visible. She told us not to worry and they'd get the game on. Here we are closing in on the second half and the manager JUST NOW came by and said "sorry we can't change channels, here's a free dessert." Ok so first thing first, do not get me wrong but my boyfriend and I, LOVE PLUCKERS. We have been to various locations and never have issues with any. It is our first time at this location and there was no wait, which is awesome. It took us 10 min to get greeted by our server. And waited about 15 min to get a beer. 2 of our party received their food on time while the other had to wait 15 min after everyone. Once the food came out our wings were a bit dry (didn't order a dry rub) so we ordered a side of sauce instead of making a big deal. Which took us another 10 min. Our wings were already cold. Hopefully this is only a one time thing and doesn't happen to everyone. read more

When you walk in and no one greets you between 3 hostesses and a floor manager then the only thing you can expect to be worse is the food. I'm a huge fries fan, it's a must, but they literally give me about six fries with the plate (of course I could order more but cmon why buy another plate and risk there being 6 fries) I got a beer as well and it was flat, our waiter checked up on us once... when it was time to pay. He even forgot and admitted that he forgot to get our drinks in the beginning. I am a HUGE pluckers guy so for me to complain (for the first time) about a location hurts. Ten minutes after sitting, still no one had checked on us or taken a drink order...about to get up to leave when the friendliest bartender stops by to "steal us" and takes our orders. I had a higher opinion of pluckers until this visit. This visit will be my third time ever going to pluckers and it really isn't all that. I wanted some fried chicken and LoLo's chicken and waffles was about to close so me and my bf drove here. There was no wait so we were immediately seated and ordered an appetizer right away. We got the loaded waffle fries and they were extremely, severely mediocre. The fries were not hot, they were hella skimpy on the cheese, and it honestly looked like our food had been sitting a while. After playing over the appetizer, I ordered the cheech and chong chicken sandwich which is a fried chicken sandwich with queso, tortilla strips and guacamole which I asked to have removed. My bf got the 10 piece cajun and Dr.pepper wings combo. The chicken sandwich was ok in taste, nothing special. I liked the concept of the sandwich but it was lacking in seasoning and spice. I had a taste of my bf's Dr.pepper wings and they were ok, I was expecting a stronger Dr.pepper flavor and my bf did say the flavor was watered down from the last time he came. To redeem my mediocre meal I ordered the fried oreos. Now I've had fried oreos at the fair and loved them so I'm thinking they would taste the same but these fried oreos were not good at all and these came with ice cream! I was so confused and disappointed, after a few bites I was done. What I had was not worth the 40 dollars, so this visit will be my last time at pluckers. read more
