I'm from Austin and pluckers is my all time favorite restaurant. I came to grapevine for a family trip and stopped at this pluckers location. Probably one of the worst experiences. First, the hostesses said a table for 6 would be an hour and a half wait when we checked on yelp and the wait was 0 minutes. We spoke to someone else and then were seated right away. We sat down and ordered and everything, food took forever but sometimes that happens, no worries. When we received our food, the fries were cold, wings were cold, and the ranch was warm to the point where it looked almost chunky. Doesn't appear that busy, this place is absolutely filthy. Floors are trashed, booths have visible food laying around, empty cups and plates, junk on floor. Hire a busser to knock those tables and floors out seriously! So ordered fried pickle appetizer, 3 for $4. Well what came out was one pickle in three long wedges. Underwhelming and not $4 of value. Next was Jumbo wings, what came out, regular wings. Teriyaki sauce was weak honey BBQ, come on? Got here at 1p.m and told a 1-2 hour wait when there was about 6 tables open. Watched three other families walk in and get sat. Asked the Host how long and we would be willing to sit at different tables for our party since there were tables open. He told me they were short a person and that why they weren't sitting those tables. Another family walks in and he literally sits them at one of the tables he told me they weren't seating. After waiting an hour and a half and seeing this unorganized handling we just decided to leave. The place is busy for a Thursday. We ordered the 2 monster boneless wings basket and 2 extra order of waffle sides. My husband also ordered an alcoholic beverage. We used to love the food but now it's mediocre. It seems that they have altered the recipe for manganero because it has become hotter. When our food was served there were waffle sides.
