These are some of the best wings I've ever had! I dined in with my parents and we had pretty good customer service. Our server was very nice and even recommended their Dr. Pepper sauce which sounds crazy but it was amazing! Their sauces and tater tots are top tier, but I had to take a star off because the boneless chicken bites were a bit tough, almost like they were cooked a little too long. My girlfriend and I come here every Monday and for some reason this time it tasted 10x better than any other time so I decided to leave a review. The food was warm and fresh. My family visited on Monday night and we were seated in the garage door area. We got our drink order in and got our appetizer quickly.. but then we sat for an hour waiting on our food. Our waitress never updated us on kitchen status, refilled our drinks, etc. However, I wouldn't say it was from a lack of staff as several workers were just standing around. We got our food and one order was wrong. I immediately asked for to-go boxes.. and those never came.. so my wife went and got us all to-go containers and lids. I finally had to ask the manager for our check. I love pluckers.. but this was probably the worst service I have ever had. We live 10 minutes from the restaurant and we got home 2 hours after we left the house. Update - I was personally contacted by the Plano manager and I will be back in the future... anticipating a way better experience. read more

We were seated right away and given menus. It took a good 5-10 minutes before we saw our server but once there he was nice. He took our drink order and our appetizer down and gave us more time. (Quite a bit, but whatever) Once our food order was in it took about 30 mins or more...longer wait time than normal but food came out hot and delicious! Our server wasn't too on top of refills we saw him maybe 4 times (3 times I know for sure) Wings were delicious, burgers tasted great and the fried pickles although not the best still good. I have visited Pluckers in Houston and it was not that good of an experience for me; however, this visit that I had at this Pluckers in Plano was a good one. The service was good, the drinks were good, the food was fresh. They do take their COVID precautions serious -- they check temperatures when you walk in before you are seated; however, I can say that they must arrange the seating better. There were open seats in another area and they still sat us amongst a crowd on one side of the dining room and we could not move to another area. It did have me a little concerned at first; but, they do have little plexiglass separating the seating areas. (Do not really know how that is stopping/slowing the COVID spread). I had the naked wings and fries from the lunch menu and the person that I was dining with and I shared a serving of chips and queso. We tried several drinks on the menu, too. The drinks were good, my favorite was the Texas Punch. If you visit, just make sure they do sit you where there is not a crowd of people to make you feel a little safer during these unprecedented times. read more

We were eager to eat at Pluckers on Preston especially since it's a Saturday and almost 75 degrees outside. Unfortunately, the hostess was not able to seat us outside because they didn't have a table open but the patio was 100% empty (right by the entrance). When I pointed out the empty tables her reply was they didn't have the wait staff to support it. We promptly left as she didn't seem to care either way. Very satisfying visit to Pluckers. They take their COVID precautious very seriously. To date this is the only restaurant I've been to that has taken everyone's temperature at the door. Sat at the bar as I was solo on this trip. Had a few beers, boneless wing combo basket and a Brownie for desert. All was very good! The best sauce is by far Bakers Gold!! I tried Pluckers with my son for the first time last night. He loves it and wanted me to try. They were very busy for a Wednesday evening. I had the lemon pepper wings and the garlic Parmesan. I loved the garlic Parmesan but didn't care for the lemon pepper. They had a little too much rub on them. Plus, I only had 3 flaps in 10 wings. I wish they would have done equal parts. Skip this location and go to Allen instead. Party of 2 left waiting outside in the cold for an hour for 20-30 min. wait time. If you are going to make guests wait outside in the cold due to 'social distancing' at least provide heaters. Had to call and notify the staff inside regarding the issue in order to receive any assistance. Door clerk was clueless, advised we were next... but for 40 minutes? Staff seemed more concerned with to-go orders, which I get, but the kitchen was still behind on those - one gentleman walked up and his order was already delayed 30 minutes and it still wasn't ready. Ok firstime here, came with the family, and I did read the reviews from my fellow Yelpers, yes it is very expensive, but the sauces used are very premium and the chicken pieces much bigger, we tried out the Sampler plate, that had great fried pickle wedges, awesome mozzarella fried sticks, and what I thought was just OUT OF THIS WORLD! Fried Mac n Cheese, yummy, with 3 sauces Marinara, Ranch and an Awesome raspberry chutney sauce. They have lots of Asian infused sauces.the Wife had 10 Buffalo medium, I had 5 Hallelujah (Asian sweet spicy) and 5 Lemon pepper (Super lemony flavor you will pucker). It was not the Plucker's experience we were used to receiving. There were empty tables everywhere, but a line out the door waiting for seating. We, however, were seated promptly (within 10 minutes), no complaint. We received our drinks in a timely matter. Appetizers a little slower. It seemed to take forever to place our food order. Waited 20 minutes after ordering until the waiter noticed we hadn't been served. He was blind to our efforts to flag him down. Brought out our cold food and left. No drink refills. Half of our table took their food home for reheating. We had to get our own takeout containers from behind the bar area. The other half just left their food on the table. What a waste. All of our party left except the one paying. Still took another 15 minutes to get the check after the waiter was tracked down. I've been to this Pluckers location a couple times over the past year and have generally enjoyed my visits. Their garlic lemon wings and drums are delicious; I'm just sad that the size of those wings and drums can sometimes be pretty small. There's a wide selection of dry and wet rubs for the chicken, and I do appreciate the complementary side of celery and ranch provided, as they're a good palate cleanser in between the chicken. (Also good for pretending like you're eating something at least somewhat healthy with your meal.) Love the refillable strawberry lemonade, and also super enjoy the fried mac and cheese sticks (Holy Macaroni on the menu), though I can only have those like once a year without feeling guilty. Servers and bartenders are nice and attentive. It's a bar, so it's understandable, but sometimes the inside of the place gets super loud, so be aware you might have to yell a little and repeat yourself if you're having a conversation with someone. read more

The atmosphere was wonderful! I was able to watch the basketball game while my friend was watching the ufc match! Speakers were a little loud so we were yelling over each other. They had jeopardy night on the other side which was interesting to watch. The Jamango jerk wings were terrific but I didn't really enjoy the spicy ranch wings. The Drinks were strong.... Just the way they are supposed to be. The boneless chicken wings are VERY large chicken strips. I can't wait to come back to watch some NFL games! read more
