Highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is very cool with the vintage furniture and the food is delicious. I had the italian panini and it was delicious. The only downside was their chip options were very slim, but the sandwich itself is filling enough to where you dont need any chips. Their sandwich selection was large enough to satisfy any craving. Their coffees are phenomenal! I come here almost every Tuesday and Thursday before my second class of the day for a pick-me-up. It's so quaint and it's usually really quiet inside so it's a lovely place to study. They have a drive-thru for those in a hurry and free wifi for those who need to get some work done. This used to be my favorite coffee shop and I would rave about it to my friends. With the new ownership I have been so disappointed. The whole theme has been Vintage/50s and the music that used to be played matched the theme. The music has changed which makes the place lose some of its charm. Also the same sense of pride in the place seems to be lost from workers who look like they have just rolled out of bed to dirty tables when the store has been opened for barely an hour to employees cutting up and being loud while patrons trying to read and study. My daughter even over heard the employees talking negatively about a customer who just went through the drive thru. I am so sad!!!! read more

Not really sure what they're charging with tax but I ordered a large iced coffee and paid $3.00 when the menu price is $2.55? Even with sales tax that doesn't quite make sense. Went there this past weekend with some friends and must say I have a new coffee shop! I had a London Fog, but would love to try some of their other drinks and the gelato there! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mia and enjoying the cheesecake gelato. The shop has retro items as decorations and has a quaint but nice feel about it. I also tried the peanut butter and jelly gelato which was too rich for my blood and the Kit Kat flavor which was awesome. She changes the flavors up on weekly basis. Great coffee! Better than Starbucks. The atmosphere is great. Good music, free wifi, and Einstein Bagels! Its unfortunate that for whatever reason they always seem to be empty because I really want them to make it. I think due to poor advertising not many people know this place exists. I have one complaint about them however. I asked them what time they open because I am usually driving bye at 530 and they are not open. They told me they are open at 600 so I altered my schedule to get there at 600 and grab a cup of coffee on the way to work. I passed them at 557 and hoped they opened a couple minutes early, understandable they were not open. The next day I passed at 607 and again they weren't open yet. Even though they don't seem to be thriving with business they don't seem to care because you can not count on them to be open on time. They are the only real coffee place before I290 on Barker Cypress and as good as they are I wish they were more dependable. Either way, good coffee, priced similar to Starbucks, and they have a drive through. If you are an early commuter like me try and get there no earlier than 615 to ensure they are open. read more

I've been coming to Plum coffee ever since they opened up in cypress and I must say that I absolutely love this coffee shop! I've had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she's a sweetheart. I've never tried anything other than their iced coffee and iced chai tea latte, but I definitely will expand my choices in the near future. I'm not sure what type of coffee blend they use but it's delicious and it always tastes so fresh. The interior of the place has a very relaxed and chill vibe and it's a great place to study or maybe even have a casual date with someone. The only thing that is a little bit of a downfall is that they close around 7PM so I could never accomplish any late night studying. I think this is a great place to try if you're looking to try something new and different. I really love this place! read more

I tried the snickerdoodle iced coffee and it was delicious. The spot was cute with plenty of seating. I was surprised that the tables that were empty were dirty as there were two employees and it was not busy when I was there. I would hope that next time the place will be cleaner. When I let them know about something that wasn't right with my order, they fixed it immediately and checked to make sure the second attempt was right. It's so hard to find local coffee joints in the Cypress area that stay in business and even harder to find ones that have great drinks. I hope this place stays in business. The ambience is nice, I dig the mismatched furniture. The coffees are all great (much better than Starbucks in my opinion), the baked goods are good and not too sweet, and the lunch paninis are yummy. Plum Coffee is my favorite coffee shop! I usually order the white mocha. Their coffee always tastes fresh and never burned or old like other places. I also like the muenster cheese or mozzarella cheese croissant. Their prices are better than any other coffee places and the employees are always friendly, helpful and polite. My coworkers and I get coffee there almost every day. We LOVE the coffee.... But.. There's one employee that seems to always get something wrong :/ don't get me wrong, we love all the employees because they're always sweet, smiling, and start fun conversation. We've had problems with one getting orders wrong (forgetting whip cream multiple times, wrong pastries/croissants, etc) and it has happened on multiple occasions. If this is corrected (maybe through a staff meeting) then this place would be perfect! Again, we come here every single day and on time constraints.
