this Japanese restaurant was a hidden gem for me traveling through the area. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was excellent, and the ambience was perfect not fancy, but classy.

Plum House is a lovely sushi restaurant in a super quaint area with plenty of parking. My group popped in for an early lunch and we received great service. With various orders, our food came out quickly and we were able to enjoy everything together. There were plenty of vegetarian options for me and I enjoyed my rolls, but I did bring my own soy sauce since most restaurants do not carry gluten-free. I would definitely return if I were in the area again.

Not the best quality but better than I was expecting. Prices are very reasonable and service was good. We tried a bunch - the Thai crab Rangoons are probably the only item I wouldn't order again. Tuna tartare was good, we also had a sashimi combo for 2 which was pretty good overall. And they had CA uni so we had them make some nigiri for us, surprisingly good. Food overall is probably a 3.5 but for the area it's great and price is spot on. They have nice outside seating and there was a live band when we ate there.

We ordered the Sweet Potato Tempura Roll, Shrimp Mango Roll, California Roll, Deep fried California Roll

I was visiting my hometown this week & had to visit my favorite sushi spot. The ambiance seemed a bit sad and cold. But I still wanted to eat here because it's memories. The service was casual but efficient. We would have gotten desert but the check was dropped on the table while we were still eating. However, the food was great, every single roll I ordered was my favorite. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend if you want a relax & quiet place to enjoy fresh sushi. Thank You, Plum House!

They have the thick chop sticks and real Tamari!!!!

Another five star experience at Plum House. It is by no means - perfect, but they deliver quality fresh sushi. I've been on a Sushi rating kick lately and I have to say I found my favorite Fluke sashimi! It's very difficult to find good Fluke, it's a pretty gamy white fish. To find it tender, not easy. And Plum House has given me the best Fluke I've had yet! The interior is bland, boring and a little chilly (wear a sweater). But they have delicious sushi rolls that change often. Also - I'm a big water and ice person and they have the most delightful tasing water and the coolest ice cubes to chomp on! I love Plum House.

We popped in here because it had a good rating, although we weren't expecting it to be so good we left super happy and satisfied. Highly recommend and can't wait to go again. Everything was delicious.

Parking is limited, but once you arrive, the property is absolutely adorable with its farm setting and beautiful flowers. The service was friendly, attentive, and one of the highlights of our visit. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally grown ingredients, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, almost every dish we ordered was incredibly salty. I love well seasoned food, but this was just too much. They definitely need to ease up on the salt because it overpowered the fresh ingredients. I would recommend to the chef - calm down on the salt please!!! The standout dish for our group was the hot honey pizza--it was absolutely delicious and the one item I'd happily order again. One small downside that caught me off guard was the bathroom. It was so dark that it was difficult to see anything. Overall, it's a beautiful spot with great service and a charming atmosphere!

They have freshly made and frozen lasagna, baked ziti, ravioli, pasta whole trays for a reasonable price. All you have to do is heat it up! Or boil if it's ravioli. Opened up my sandwhich and it was very thick with meat and cheese. It looked great, smelled great, started eating it and then started tasting something moldy. Not sure if it was the onions, the peppers or both. Scraped off all the veggies and tried to continue eating my sandwhich but it unfortunately was tainted to where I could not eat it. Hubby's roast beef was dry - shockingly. Went to eat my Napoleon later in the evening - same thing - tasted bad - tasted like mold - could not eat it. Was pretty disappointed. Such a shame.

I made a reservation at my husbands request. The reservation was for 6 -1/2 people (my granddaughter who is 11 months) at 5pm. I asked for a table upstairs and when I arrived they tried to sit us in the bar area. I informed the woman who was at the front I had asked for a table upstairs and her exact words to me were "ok bye" and she handed me off to a young gentleman (Harrison). That was the 1st mistake she made. He brought us upstairs and the room was very warm. We assumed it was because they hadn't turned the AC on but when we looked it was on 62. We opted to stay up there because by that time they had given away the table that they were trying to offer us. I am not exaggerating when I say we were left upstairs for over 40 minutes before he came back to ask if we wanted drinks or appetizers. Not his fault because it appeared this woman was too busy yapping it up with some older man who was at the bar and the younger woman was just there. Harrison was doing the doordash orders, and everything else. I asked if someone was going to come up soon and this woman with reddish hair with attitude said "umm, yeah". 2nd mistake she made. I went back upstairs and our waiter came back up about 10 minutes later. He took our orders and was left to manage us alone. Overall I think he did the best he could, but there is absolutely NO REASON AT ALL it should have taken 2-1/2 hours for us to order/eat. We didn't order anything complicated, but it seems like everyone downstairs was being tended to while we were just left upstairs in the heat. Having to have my son go downstairs and ask for the check and food containers, is also ridiculous -3rd mistake!! Again, Harrison was great and we do not blame him at all, but this young gentleman should have been given help from the beginning instead of having him do every damn thing. Extremely disappointed and am pretty sure the owners of this place have no idea what their manager does and they seriously need to re-think who they have greeting and TRAIN them properly. She is lucky I didn't lose it on her with the way she responded to me when I asked if someone was going to come up soon. She is absolutely, HORRIBLE. The service was EXTREMELY slow, even though there were BARELY any people there when we walked in. We are locals and we will never go back.
