The plumber didn't explain why I was being charged $160.00 for the work that was to be done. Just said it was refuse and so I had to call their main office to see what was going on. They told me to call my warranty company. Choice Home Warranty said it was refuse due to "ware and tare" . Ware and tare for a stop up tub drain. Give me a break!!!! The plumber had to come back after he left with out saying anything to do the job. He was rude and then told me I had to pay for the service charge also. Put in a claim with my warranty company for a leaking pipe under my bathroom vanity. The technician that was subcontracted by the company came out and it took him three times to go to Home depot before he finally got the correct part. Then he broke off the connecting pipe to the faucet and refused to repair it without another claim was to be put in which would have been another $100 deductible and claimed that I needed another vanity bc that part wasn't replaceable. This job costed me a total of $500 and it is still not functional bc I refuse to pay them again for an issue that was fixable. Please be careful and don't get scammed. The saddest part is I am taking care of my aging sick Mother and I need the bathroom to properly work to take care of her. Now Im trying to find referrals for a professional company who know what they are doing!! The technician was so busy flirting with me instead of doing his work. Our toilet has been giving us various issues since we purchased our home. We called our home warranty company and they assigned plumbers, electricians & beyond to us and they sent out a technician named Nagi, on the same day. He came within an hour or so and assessed the issues. We ultimately had the toilet replaced. He was able to replace it the day of, even went and grabbed the toilet from Home Depot himself. Very respectful and honest, cleaned up after the work was done. He sealed the bottom of the toilet beautifully, you can barely see it! Will have them come back for any plumbing jobs in the future. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have Choice Home Warranty so the appointment was set up through them. My appointment time was from 11-3. I contacted Choice at 2:55 because I had not heard anything from this company. I received a text @ 3:02 from Hiba who asked if I was available on Monday. They wasted 4 hours of my day off on Friday and I refuse to give them another minute of my time. To make matters worse, they lied to Choice Home Warranty stating that I was unavailable to make my appointment. This unprofessional company will not get a dime from me. I notified the Hiba person that I planned to write this review as this was a waste of my time. I am further infuriated that they would tell Choice I wasn't available when it was them who failed to keep the appointment time and at bare minimum notify me in advance that they were running behind. I reached out to Plumbers Electricians & Beyond LLC for quote for both tank and tankless water heater as my old tank was leaking and was end of life and at that point looking to replacing the darn thing. I got in touch with "Abdi". He was a nice guy and provided good information and quotes requested. However, I soon realized that his quotes were much lower than other plumbers and got suspicious and requested details like brand/model would he be using and whether he would be requesting the necessary permit for the installation. That's where everything went downhill. I text him, no response, I called him and left vm, no response. Yup, the devil is in the details folks. I CANNOT recommend this company. These clowns sent someone who showed up off schedule when he wasn't scheduled to be here (I'm working from home and was in meetings), lied about it saying he talked to my wife at her office and she said it was OK to come at his convenience, and then worked on the clog for two hours and left it worse than when he arrived. This company will do the best it can to get the job done at a reasonable price. My technician came on time and did a phenomenal job. Instead of using a large saw to cut piping behind drywall he used a smaller one to ensure that damage would be minimal. They were able to replace the pressure valve thru my warranty. Excellent service-- Herb was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. All of my outlets outside had stopped working, and Herb was immediately able to diagnose the problem. It turned out that a GFCI switch was flipped, and we just needed to find the one controlling the outdoor outlets. After 15 minutes we found the GFCI to reset, and everything was fixed! Herb also alerted me to the fact that some of our electricity loads were below normal. He went above and beyond, and I would definitely look forward to working with Herb again! read more

This company have been very helpful to us. We have an older home with plumbing issues. First, Eddie came and he was honest from the get go and personable, he was able to fix the leak at first however the issue was a bit more involved, it took several visits to get to the root cause of the leak. During these time, I got to know Abdi, the manager and the dispatcher, Crissy. They were all professional and helpful in dealing with my insurance and sending them the documentations needed for coverage. We still had to do our part to follow up of course but they responded well. Abdi took the time with his explanation and was respectful. He is honest, quick in responding and easy to work with. They referred several companies but after checking their reviews we cancel their service call. Our home warranty company recommended Plumbers Electricians and Beyond LLC after reviewing their reviews we decided to give them a chance. We spoke with Chrissy and she was very professional and provided the best customer service. The technician that was sent was dispatched was Vincent as our Plummer. Vincent called 30 minutes prior to the arrival time to inform you he was in route. When Vincent arrived he was very knowledgeable of his job and his attention to detail was awesome. He explained everything to us on what needed to be repaired and cleaned up after he finished the job. He changed out our shower head and facet's. I did not know the severity of the repair, as I had only lived here a short time and my townhome was once a rental unit. All I knew was that water had been backing up in the shower tub and slow to drain. The plumber, who arrived within the time window that was provided to me, was very polite and considerate. The home warranty company my landlord uses sent a plumber from this company to our house to repair a leak in the basement. He showed up in a personal vehicle that didn't look like it could carry the proper equipment for plumbing issues. He also brought his VERY PREGNANT GIRLFRIEND with him, who requested to use the bathroom in the house even though the water was shut off and then wondered why the toilet wouldn't flush. His first concern when entering the home was to get the $60 service fee. He did fix the leak, thankfully. They were the third technician assigned and the first ones to provide honest and direct feedback on the issues with my water heater. They broke down exactly what I needed to have replaced and encouraged me to shop quotes, which I did, but these guys provided the best price from the beginning. They were extremely flexible in scheduling my work despite my condo being a pain about when they would shut off work. Our home warranty company sent us this company to fix an issue with our garbage disposal. The garbage disposal was clogged and wouldn't drain. First they sent us an electrician that was not able to fix the problem. Then they finally sent us a plumber, who said our pipe were frozen and that it would cost us $500. It's 50 degrees out. These people rip off their customers, don't fix anything, charge you the service fee, and then try to charge $500 to fix it. They are not BBB accredited. I would like to give them no stars if that is possible. They just rip customers off. This is the second time they have done this. They come in, do part of the job and then mess things up and ask for more money to fix it. Today Jose Gomes came to fix a leaking p trap and a clogged bathroom sink along with running toilet bowl. They fixed the toilet bowl , snaked the drain but couldnt't fix the leak. So he used PVC glue 3 times to seal the pipes and when it was still leaking he said they have to replace it and first said it will be $80 extra and then later increased it to $100. He said to call him if I want it fixed. I had gone through a warranty company and they didn't want to cover the extra cost because my limit was reached. This same company came to me in May 2019, to replace a garbage disposal and clear slow running kitchen sink. Then they said my studor vent needed to be replaced as that was causing the slow drain and not any clog. They left, when I tried to replace the studor vent (just a matter of unscrewing it and replacing it with a new one), I realized they had glued it on the PVC again since both my husband and I tried but couldn't take it off. They charged $100 to come back again and replace the studor vent. Seems like this is sort of a scam they are doing. Mr. Abdullah, probably one of the main guys called and explained that they would have charged $175, but they reduced it $100. I had already paid a service fee and they were also billing my warranty company. I am now trying to get the P trap off which is glued shut, it was never glued to begin with and this Jose Gomes has messed up everything. He also left everything in a mess for me to clean up. My hot water heater decided to stop working, causing water to overflow and leak in my condo. These guys were able to get someone out that day to look at the damage and make sure nothing more serious would happen. Wound up having to get the thing replaced and some pipes brought up to code. Again, professionalism all around. They got it done. My one complaint: wasn't really sure when they would come to replace the hot water heater. That was not conveyed very well to me. They wound up arriving at 8pm and worked until 11:30pm to get it done for me. The management should do a better job scheduling and informing the customer. read more

Choice assigned this company to repair my garbage disposal. The service tech arrived without any ID in his personal car. He said he was sent to replace the 3 year old garbage disposal. He asked for my 65.00 payment before entering my home. I handed him my credit card and requested he put on his face mask ( hanging around his neck). He replied, "I have it on " and pointed to his neck. Without a face mask covering his nose and mouth I told him I could not allow his to stay in. He returned to his vehicle and left. I called the company and spoke to Hyia, who told me on 6/27/20 , she was the owner of the company and had rescheduled the appointment multiple times. This plumber was sent to fix a water leak at my home by the Home Owners Warranty company. The heater was still working. We still were getting hot water. It was just an inconvenience to work around the leak. The plumber came in and said some part was broken. He ordered it which came 2 days later. He came back, fixed it but the problem was not fixed. He said he needs to order another part. They wanted me to call the Home warranty company and open another claim. I call the warranty company to open another claim. They laughed saying if the original problem isn't solved, it will be the same claim. I did not want my tenant to live without hot water in Jan and paid out of pocket for these guys to go ahead with the second part. Second part came, they fixed it. Surprise surprise, the heater stopped working. Period. Now we did not even have a work around to get hot water. I ended up buying and installing a new water heater from Lowes to ensure my tenant gets hot water. Ended up paying around 1500.00 for a mere heater fix which should have costed 250.00 to fix a 6 year water heater. I don't think these guys know what they are doing. Totally disappointed. read more

My home warranty company sent these guys out to fix a leaking shower. First, we had several scheduling issues where they changed it 3 times. Fortunately we were home as they didn't tell us the last time. They said the cartridge was bad and replaced it. After they fixed it, it was leaking worse than before. So, I called them back out. The plumber said there was a piece of the old cartridge stuck inside, and that was the problem. However, we now also told him that hot and cold were switched, but he said we were wrong, that was Plumbing 101. Well, it still leaked! So, I called them back and the said they didn't want to come back out, and to have my warranty company send someone else. I called my home warranty company, and they sent C&P Plumbing, who was wonderful. The told us the problem was ...wait for it...PEB installed the cartridge backwards!!!! And they used a cheap knockoff instead of a genuine Moen cartridge. read more
