Patrick called me to confirm the one hour arrival window and to provide me an update even within that window. He was conscientious of my floors and wore booties. He had all the right equipment - an auger, snake, all very heavy. He came, asked several questions and performed some work to assess the situation. He explained to me what he was doing and when resolved, gave me the details of his actions. He even saved one of the clogged items to show me (haha). And at the end, he cleaned up - I swear cleaner than when he arrived - and gave me a tip of how to be proactive against these plumbing issues. Phillip was kind enough to come to our house immediately within 1 hour after he completed another job even though our appointment was for the following morning given the emergency situation. Phillip was highly professional, neat, and knowledgeable. He cut away the damaged drywall, which was very molded, found the leaking pipe, and repaired it within a relatively short period of time. We would hire him again for any future plumbing work. Thank you! Now, we have to work with our home insurance to get the drywall repaired, but thankfully there is no more water spilling down our walls.

Dan didn't show until 9:40, no apology given. (This was the reason I gave him a thumbs down on reliability.) In terms of service, Dan was friendly, and performed the task of unclogging my sinks in a timely manner. Something to remember: he only takes cash or check. No credit cards, which is especially strange in this day and age. Value for the job was as expected. While his tardiness was somewhat annoying and unprofessional, I was very satisfied with his work. They came out and agreed it might be the toilet valve and flapper in both upstairs bathrooms, but also my tub needed to be recaulked. So they charged me $425 to replace both valves and "caulk my tub". This was the worst caulking job I have ever seen - I could have done a better job myself. They didn't even bother to remove the old caulk, they just recaulked over some of it and did a terrible job at that. See the attached photos. I asked for a receipt breaking down the labor and parts because that seemed incredibly high for what was done and they refused to provide one for over a week. They came out to "re-do" the caulking job and again did a terrible job. I was then told that they didn't really do caulking and that this was just a courtesy. Yet a courtesy that they charged me an arm and a leg for. Incredible. I again asked for a receipt and he said he would email me one and drive off. They also said my water pressure was probably just a city issue. I spoke to my immediate neighbors and their water pressure is fine. So it was clearly a plumbing issue. These guys are ridiculous. Did a terrible job and gouged me. [edit: STILL NO RECEIPT! $425 for two toilet valves and a terrible caulk job on part of my bathtub]
