When it comes to construction in general, I'm really pessimistic about the quality of work and people's professionalism. I can honestly without a doubt say that Arman really went above and beyond. Though it may not be a big deal to some it was a big deal to me Arman arrived at my house exactly when he said he would be. He never missed a beat. In addition, he discovered other potential problems that could poyentially occur in the future, ( because of previous shoddy workmanship ) and repaired it with without charge. He diagnosed the problem I was having very quickly and fixed it with a minimal amount of effort. Because the call was so short he graciously agreed not to charge me. They were great both times! My toilet was clogged due to roots, which the 2 gentlemen from Plumbing Dudes that came to my home kindly removed. They went to a lot of effort removing them and i'm grateful for that work. However, after they left, the toilet leaked profusely around the floor, even days after the caulk they placed around the base dried. For this i was charged $250. Afterwards, i called someone else. It turns out that the gentlemen had only installed 1 wax ring, where 2 were needed, and didn't line up the toilet with the ring properly (hence the leaking). In addition, my second opinion used a $14 part to re-secure the toilet to the floor, whereas the "plumbing dudes" said that i would need an entirely new flange to secure the toilet properly, and that putting in a new flange would be an $800 job. For $130 total my second opinion got my toilet working (albeit temporarily, as i'll need to do digging to take care of the root problem permanently), and installed everything properly. I'll think twice before calling Plumbing Dudes again. read more

My wife and I recently bought a fire-pit for our rootfop deck. We called one company asking if they might be available to hook it up to the gas-line that same day. They initially told us they could, gave a reasonable price, only to cancel 20 minutes later. I then contacted plumbing dudes who was able to get a tech to our place to install that same day. Blas was the tech that came to our home. He gave us a reasonable quote, was very efficient and friendly. I told him I had future plans of purchasing a grill and he said he would hook that up too for us since "it's on the way home" for him. I have been looking for a good, honest plumber for decades. I think I found the one. The plumbing under my bathroom sink has had at least three half-assed repairs. If I could give Plumbing Dudes 100 stars, I would. These guys literally saved my house and my life. Charles and his crew came to my nearly 100-year-old house to replace the crumbling sewer lines. While removing the sewer line, it was discovered that the sewer line was literally laying on top of the gas line. There were no building codes 100 years ago! While removing the sewer line, the also old and perforated gas line ruptured, no fault of Plumbing Dudes. Charles thought very quickly and threw shovels of dirt and epoxy on the line to prevent further gas from escaping. Charles took charge as a project manager and worked with the Fire Dept., City and gas company crews all day. He also stayed at the house until late in the evening until the gas co. restored my service. The trenches that were dug were perfectly backfilled. And there's more - Charles and Mark came by Sunday morning to fertilize the lawn which they had backfilled.
