These guys are awesome! I had a semi emergency leak right before a 2 week vacation. I called a bunch of companies and they were one of the few that could come out the next day. Jacob came out and had the leak fixed under the house in less than 2 hours. Very professional and clean. They showed me pictures of the rest of the pipes under the house and I agreed with them that they probably wouldn't last longer considering one pipe already busted on its own. They were able to come out the next day with about 4 guys and replaced all of the pipes under the house in almost a full day. I thought their prices were fair but because of our rush we didn't have time to shop around. The price was what they quoted after they were done. It's been 3 weeks and haven't had any issues yet. I hired Plumbing Solutions after reading their stellar reviews here. The water main from the meter to my house started leaking just before my family left town for Christmas. We shut off the water to our house and turned it back on when we returned on the 26th. At that point, we were leaking 100+ gal PER HOUR, and I was freaking out trying to find someone to come take a look. Ed from Plumbing Solutions was the first to respond and showed up the same day, recommending I have the leak pinpointed by American Leak Detection and to contact him afterward to fix the issue. ALD turned out to be the wrong leak detection service to go with. They charged an exorbitant price and missed the leak by a good 7 feet. Ed and his coworker Leo kept at it, though, trenching my hillside until the pipe was found. The cost ran over what we initially agreed upon, but overall, I was impressed with Ed's professionalism throughout the process and the tenacity with which he tackled the problem. In the future, if I have any plumbing issue, I will not hesitate to call on him and Plumbing Solutions again. He identified the causes of these leaks and gave us several options in his estimate. He recommended we replace the clogged pipes coming from the kitchen drain and gave solutions for repairs to the toilet. The estimate was more than reasonable. Ed came early the next morning and made the repairs in a few hours. He even fixed a drain pipe under the kitchen counter as part of the original estimate (at no extra cost). Jacob the installer showed up on time, put on plastic flip on shoes cover before entering our home. I like this action, it shows respect for customers home. In the past, we've had them come and help us do some repairs in our crawl space piping, and they were very professional, so that's why we chose them again. They really live up to their reputation. Mark on the phone was super helpful and responsive, and he got Jacob to come out to our house a couple of hours later. Wow! Great communication. Respectful, professional, and showed up on time. Had burst pipe and caught it in time, but with a faulty shutoff valve the water doesn't stop. Posted a project on yelp and Plumbing Solutions was first to respond and Joel answered all my messages until almost midnight. Scheduled to come out the next day and called us day of to ask if they could come by earlier since they were close by. Andres came out and quickly new exactly what to do. As well as the need to contact our HOA to shutoff main water to the building. He was very respectful in our home, and incredibly knowledgeable. After we coordinated with HOA, and called Plumbing Solutions multiple times to coordinate the schedule, Andres quickly came back out and fixed the busted pipe and the main shutoff valve. The work was completed on time and the cost was lower than the initial estimate. We called them to get an estimate on a bathroom project. The two people that arrived were polite and appeared to be knowledgeable. Unfortunately, they had a phone conversation with someone from their company that was on speaker phone. They explained the work that needed to be done and the person on the phone told them to "bid high". They overbid the others by close to $600! When we told them they were higher than the other bids, they offered to reduce the bid by 5%, which was still much higher than the others. We were stunned and insulted to hear them be directed to bid high! This may be a common practice but not one we chose to support. We were very disappointed. read more
