Job that others suggested would take 3 days he was able to knock out in one day. 40 ft of concrete cutting and almost 100 ft of dirt digging they did a great job. 90% of the job was on neighbors property and they took the time to be mindful and respectful. They did a fair job but pointed out other jobs that needed to be done which would've cost us thousands of dollars. There was definitely a sense of urgency to what said plumber was suggesting. Of the 3 jobs, hydrojetting our sewer lines was what we decided to do first. I felt we needed a second opinion as it's really expensive and called around for other estimates. I found that not many plumbing companies offer hydrojetting or if they do, it's not for the heavy duty kind of hydrojetting that we needed. Joel came back under what the first company was going to charge so we went with Plumbing Solutions instead. He asked why we thought we needed hydrojetting since it's so specialized, expensive and much different than your average snaking the lines. I appreciated that he inquired in case we didn't need it done, but we did need it, unfortunately. Lol Joel came out (masked) with a big ass truck and a giant hydrojetting machine and we finally got why it's so expensive. He jetted both of our lines in no time and showed us the camera footage which had been previously had a ton of thick, thick tree root balls blocking our lines. He also took a look at the photos of what the other plumbing company said we needed done and told us, it wasn't urgent and didn't need to be done any time soon. I highly recommend Jacob. He did not give up when things got tough. I was seeing air in my hot water lines 1 month after having a new water heater installed. The equipment manufacturer recommend several possible solutions. Jacob implemented them, but none of them resolved the issue. The equipment manufacturer refused to cover the cost of a new water heater even though the it was still under warranty. They told us it would cost $20k to replace our sewer lateral with trenchless tech. I checked Yelp for their best rated local plumber and found Plumbing Solutions. We would definitely go with this company because of the savings and the level of professionalism. I used the Yelp contact form to ask for a quote to replace water heater. I was first told "I'm booked at this time", even though I didn't specify a time, just as soon as possible. Asked for clarification, and the response was "I am sorry but we are booked for the next couple of weeks". Nothing specific, giving me the impression that they are not interested in my business. Suggestion to business... it would be better to say something like "sorry, we are currently heavily booked for a couple of weeks, but we normally try to get to existing customers faster" or something like that. Unfortunately a really bad experience . Called last night just before they closed and told him about our bathroom sink being filled with black tar , and our kitchen sink being backed up. He advised they could come out tomorrow between 10am - 12pm. Today the repairman called and advised he had a cancellation and would like to come early. I was just getting ready to leave to pick up an out of town visitor , but I knew if I cancelled he would likely take another appt first and push mine into the afternoon ruining my whole day with my friend I only see once a year so I agreed. I left instructions with my 72 yr old disabled spouse to show him the sinks and have him call me if any questions before I return from Bart . Long story short, Ed the repairman claimed that my spouse had told him it was only the kitchen sink. We argued. He was disrespectful and I got hot and demanded to speak to the owner . He called the owner but gave a different take on the story to the owner . He started with making it sound like I asked for something special . I got on the phone and told the owner that I told him we had two sinks backed up. Now, he explained it would be a 'separate trip charge '. This wasn't explained to me, nor was a price quote given on the original call. I felt completely lied to . He would not include the second sink . I screamed something at him and hung up! I told the repairman "JUST GO!" Ed offered to check the peatrap in the bathroom so I agreed. He came back in 3 minutes and said 'Its all set. You did most of the work already . 'i said something appreciative .. he took payment and said 'thank you for the opportunity ' . Never Again ! Apparently, even though I explained my sinks to the owner , the repairman does not have the capability to unclog two drains unless he drives around the block and comes back up my drive to charge another $225. Insulting ! Infuriating! If you hire them , verify - cost per drain , total trip charge *** Update same day ***after spending an hour on my knees cleaning the floor where he worked found all those black tar spots were hiding damage . the floor had dozens of small tar stains from the work he didn't bother to clean for $225 (that's probably a third trip charge ?). I tried to clean up and found the repairman damaged the floor ..my phone won't allow me to post more new photos unless I close the app. read more

Our clog turned out to be a tricky, solid one that actually broke the snake! Brian fixed the snake, and gave us the price for trenching down to our line. My husband wanted to dig his own hole to save the money, so Brian gave him the requirements for the hole and promised to come back when we had it dug. True to his word, he came right back once we had the pipe dug up, which turned out to be just an hour later. He installed a clean out valve, since the one we had was unusabl, and then got the stubborn clog to finally give way.
