After we finished eating, we walked along the beach and it was the perfect way to spend the morning. Parking is just street parking, so I would recommend getting there early if you want an easier time finding a spot. Service was nice and just ordered inside and grabbed a table outside. I ordered the Croque Madame and it was so good. The bread was crispy, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the egg on top made it even better. It came with a fresh side salad that balanced everything out nicely. My friend got the quiche and loved it too. We also got a pastry to share and both a hot latte and iced latte. The coffee was smooth and paired really well with the food. The atmosphere is cute, cozy, and feels like you're stepping into a little French café. Everything looked just as good as it tasted. Definitely a spot I would come back to when I'm in the area. Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a brunch spot near the beach.

The people, the outdoor seating, the pastries, and the overall vibe make you feel like you're sitting at a café somewhere in Europe. My favorite way to start the day is with a hot sandwich and a coffee on the patio. The service is always friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The area is currently undergoing construction, which makes visiting a little less convenient, but the café is still open and well worth the visit. I highly recommend Moulin if you're looking for great coffee, delicious food, and a unique European-style atmosphere.

It was also veryyyyy hot inside, if you are heat sensitive I would not recommend going inside or at least if you do, to bring a fan and water. I wish there were more signs in front of the pasteries to say what they were, I think people asking questions about what everything was also slowed the line down. I got the empanada, chocolate coffee croissant, pop tart, and their savory croissant. Everything definitely would have been better warmed, but we were only asked if we wanted the empanada warmed. Also, the chocolate coffee croissant does not taste like chocolate at all. I would not recommend if you are looking for a chocolate pastry. I was very disappointed, it tasted like a sweet pastry with a hint of coffee. The rest were ok, the pop tart was filled with apples but I wish the apple flavor was stronger. The savory croissant and empanada were good but definitely needed to be warmed. Overall I had a very lackluster experience here and will most likely not be back.

Meanwhile waiting , got myself familiar with the place and caught the vibe by the window. This is something expected especially by the beach. I got my drink and nice enough to allow me to help myself to sprinkle some cinnamon on my drink. Super cool. Make me feel like I added my own twist to the drink. Who doesn't like to feel engaged. The drink was good. Drink was smooth especially with the coconut and it paired well not to over powering not to sweet. It' was a good choice. I always ask for specialty lattes because it gives me a better insight on what they're about. Come by ! I recommend it.

I feel like I could just copy and paste this for most coffee shop reviews now - "Fine, but…read moreexpensive..." I have to be honest, I was not impressed with this latte, and I am wondering why everybody raves about it. I got a vanilla latte and added vanilla cold foam as a little treat and somehow it still had a little to no flavor? I think it was $18 or $19 for 2 drinks, that's just crazy to me and it's my own fault, that should have been a warning, but they had a Ube cruffin (and my husband loves ube) and I ordered one without asking the price and imagine my surprise when it was $7! A little more than that I think actually. I get it - it's a pricey area, they're a block from oven views, it's Laguna, I'm too broke to live and exist there but good Lord. All of that aside, it is a very cute shop, very cute merch, and very good vibes with lots of sitting areas. They even had a cute little corner with toys for kids to play with, which I love!

I brought my two daughters so we each picked out one macaron. We got the raspberry, birthday cake and white chocolate basil flavors. The birthday cake was delicious and the filling was very soft and creamy, like a light whipped cream frosting (not a dense buttercream). I loved the texture. The white chocolate basil was surprisingly good! I love trying new unique flavor combinations and these worked really well together. The basil flavor was pretty subtle so it blended nicely into the white chocolate flavor. I didn't get to try the raspberry since my daughter devoured it, but she loved it! The macaron shop offered a lot of other flavors, so it had something for everyone. The cookies were beautifully decorated. In addition to macarons, they also have fancy little chocolates with a variety of flavors. Next time, I'll be back for some of those!

There wasn't many visitors at the time we stopped in, and there was only one associate working behind the counter. After a few minutes of reviewing the menu, we ordered a variety box of six. A box of six will run you about $26, which isn't bad I suppose for the area. We haven't tried all of the flavors yet, but the pistachio is by far one of the best.. if you're in the area and you're a huge macaroon fan like I am definitely stop in and check out this shop, it's well worth it.
