A contractor was hired by this company to build a fully functional website on a rushed timeline. They were told they were the only person working on the project, and that the urgency was due to the company's former developer being in a legal dispute and planning to take down the live site by June 1st, 2025. The contractor dropped everything to help and finished the site two weeks before the deadline. Over the course of several weeks, the contractor even went to their office multiple times for meetings with the owner's son and other team members, working in good faith to move the project forward.After the work was done, it came to light that two or three other people were also working on the same site, despite the company claiming otherwise from the start. When the contractor followed up for payment, the owner's son who was the main point of contact allegedly said "My boy could do it for less than $1,000, so our initial agreement on price is gonna be a lot less now." He also added he was going on vacation in 15 days and "didn't have time to deal with it." All this while wearing an expensive Rolex. The contractor was told, "Send me the invoice I'll pay you for your time." The invoice was sent immediately, and the son followed up once more saying, "I'll get back to you." After that, he went completely silent no reply, no payment. The contractor was left dismissed and disrespected. The stress and anxiety from this on top of an existing heart condition led to serious mental and physical strain. Legal steps have since been taken. This post is meant to warn others if you're a freelancer, contractor, or subcontractor, be cautious. Get everything in writing, and don't ignore red flags. No one should be pressured, misled, ghosted, or lowballed after showing up, putting in the time, and delivering their end of the deal.

A few text messages here and there, and we made an appointment for the next morning. Now, I wasn't there at the time, but coming home I could see it was well done. My wife commented that they cleaned up after themselves and even put all the items we pulled out from under the sink back in. That's service! Communications: 10/10 - Extremely fast to respond and kept me up-to-date while I was at work Price: 8/10 - Competitively priced for the area. Replacement costs ranged from $165 - $300. Wall's was on the lower end of that scale. Service 10/10 - Simply awesome! I would highly recommend based on this experience and will look toward working with them again for future needs.

The service call went smoothly, two plumbers/technicians did get to the root of the problem and a new electronic board needed to be ordered. I was immediately charged $320 for a service call that lasted about an hour. Several days later two plumbers/technicians returned with the new electronic boards and some other items that needed to be replaced. I was presented with a bill/estimate for $2,100 with no itemization and when asked I was told their customers like things to be "kept simple." In this way they can supply as many technicians as needed without worrying about costs... Logic does not add up. So, they are competent and have fixed my problem, but I have issue with their honesty. You can make your own decision but, be sure to get a few estimates for your job.

We wanted to install a 1 or 2-zone system, but my condo has a number of unique complications, though, so we weren't able to go forward with the project at that time. Fast-forward a couple years, and we decided to revisit the idea. We also decided to go big or go home this time, with a 5-zone system for the whole house. This time we got estimates from two other companies first, but one provided an extremely high quote and the other basically said that we were asking an impossible job that they could not do. So we reached out to NETR again, and it worked out great. The NETR price was literally more than 10K less (!!!) than what we were quoted by the other company, and they took care of all the secondary project burdens like City of Somerville building permits, upgrading our electrical service, etc. They gave us a clear idea of what to expect in terms of construction disruption, the workers were friendly and unobtrusive, and they finished the work right on schedule. It's too early to speak with certainty about the quality of the system we installed, but we are thrilled to finally have this project complete, and are very satisfied with the pricing, service, and installation work.
