Located inside the food court of Sun Valley Mall on the lower level, Plus 82 serves up some really tasty treats! Beef Bulgogi and the Kimchi are so delicious! (I like their Kimchi here... perfect mix of spicy and crispness). Also good is the Fried Shrimp. I just wish their order was a little bit bigger for the price you pay for them but nevertheless it is still worth it. It is perfectly crunchy and very tasty not oceany or fishy tasting (as some of you complain about). Don't worry! more pics to come. I will be back!

This food surprised me. The meat was flavorful and seasoned good and was not tough. The teoboki surprisingly good. The color threw me off, typically when I've had it. It's more of a vibrant red color. But this was no exception, the flavor was good. The spice levels were right, and it blended well with all of the other items, including the meat as well as the kimchi. The servings of kimchi were massive and it was because we brought it with the rice later Surprisingly good from all food and definitely a place I'll come again

Hidden gem for sure. This place is delicious and you get so much food for the price. Very friendly staff. I always get the galbi fried chicken, rice and kimchi. I go to the small specifically for this place. Tried the spicy fried chicken yesterday and it was really good but a little too spicy for me. The beef bulgogi is great too. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture before eating.

This place is located in the food court at Sun Valley Mall. The food is absolutely delicious! The employees are all very friendly and helpful. As for the ambiance, it's on a food court. Whenever I'm at Sun Valley Mall, I try to hit this place up for some grub.

Shockingly good for mall food. I would go so far as to say this is the best place to eat in Sun Valley Mall's food court. I don't typically like to eat Korean food a la carte or any format that isn't all you can eat, but I'm not particularly fond of either of Concord's options for those in Gen and Ohgane. In a pinch, Plus 82 is arguably (but not definitively) as good as it gets in this town for Korean food. I find their galbi chicken to be consistently flavorful and good. Their bulgogi can be great one day and kind of mix the next. If you get a bowl with only one entree to save money, pick the galbi chicken. Goes pretty good with the potato salad on the side. Their kimchi inconsistent - as with the bulgogi, it can be complementary with your protein one day but smell and taste rancid the next. Nowadays, I don't even bother with it anymore.

Highly recommend this place for a quick bite while visiting the Sunvalley Mall! Fantastic and friendly service and most importantly, delicious food! Passed this location so many times, but finally gave it a try and was amazed. This location is located on the first floor food court with abundant amount of homemade choices to choose from. I got the 2 entree and had leftovers for day after perfect! Highly recommend the Korean fried chicken, sweet, crispy, and juicy! Also for those who like spicy, the spicy chicken was also a great pick. The Jap Chae noodles are also a must try as well. Overall, A great new find and will definitely be back for the sweet and crispy fried chicken

This is a hidden gem!! I would not expect mall food to be this good. It's super affordable, you get a TON of food, and it's tastes amazing considering the cost/quantity/location. They have a decent amount of options to choose from and by the time you've completed building your plate, you're left with a mountain of goodness to dive into. Everything tastes fresh and there's no indication of skimping out on the quality of ingredients to serve such a large amount at such an affordable price. Am I saying this is gonna be some of the best Korean food out there? By no means. But all with all of the above considered, this is amazing and worth getting out of your car and walking through the mall even if it's just for a meal here. No complaints, 10/10.

We don't live close yet we come here about 3 or 4 times a month. Just for the food. And we live in Berkeley. There are lots of good Korean places to eat, but I love the flavors and variety of this little hole in the wall place at Sun Valley Mall. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is fantastic. If you haven't tried Korean food before, this is the perfect place to go. FOOD: The variety is solid! You start off a plate with your choice of japchae (glass noodles) / steamed rice / or half and half. The japchae is excellent, but I cannot live without rice so I go half and half. Your choice of entree ranges from mild to spicy and fried to bbq. All of which so far have been delicious. We've tried the bulgogi, pork jaeyuk, galbi fried chicken, spicy fried chicken, spicy bbq chicken, and coma chicken. All good, but my fav is pork jaeyuk (basically spicy pork). Kim chee chunks are a bit big, but flavorful without being TOO hot (but they are hot). SERVICE: Everyone here is SO nice! And they are very helpful. If you don't know your Korean food, just ask and they are happy to help and to offer samples. COST: More than worth it. I always order extra just because the drive is so far and I like it so much. Good value for the money.

Generous portion especially the side of rice or noodles. Meats were decent. For a good amount of Korean food great price. Restaurant is in the food court by koko chicken where they serve Korean dogs which is just as good. You need a Covid card and ID to eat there. Mall is usually empty on weekdays. read more

Dont let the location fool you even tho this is in a food court. This place sells some legit korean food its really really good. All the dishes they sell are authentic i would recommed there garlic fired chicken and spicy pork bibimbap. The staff here are super friendly and nice, the price is very cheap as well read more

Great customer service! Nice little food court in the sun valley mall. Who knew they had some Nice little Korean eateries. Prices are decent for the amount of food you get. My son and I shared A jumbo plate for only $14.99. We had passed by this place a couple times and tried it for the first time today. Super nice guy closing up today. Gave us a little extra of the rice cakes since they were about to close, which are my sons favorite. The food was good. We got the spicy chicken, pork dish, and rice cakes. Happy with the whole experience. read more

This place was really good when it first opened. Unfortunately the young women that have been serving food the last few weekends have been very attitude-y and not at all helpful. Simple questions not answered, one clearly rolled eyes when I asked not to cross-contaminate different meats. No masks or gloves as well. read more

Before I start criticizing, let me just start this off by saying great customer service. However, the food is just underwhelming. It is not that I was expecting much because this area isn't really known for Asian food. I ordered their bibimbap today. Out of the whole dish, the only thing I think was a 6/10 is the meat. Others, the egg and specifically vegetables are just bento level, which means that they're not really cooked to enhance the flavor or texture, but rather, simply for food safety. The dish was a good size but I would say it is worth $13 + tax :'( read more

Plus 82 Korean BBQ has an array of Korean street food snacks and entrees, which are ready to be packed and eaten. When I approached the counter, one of the employees asked if I wanted to try any samples, and they offered this to anyone who stopped by the stall. I ordered a small box to-go box of tteokbokki, which is spicy rice cake, red sauce, and fish cake. The small containers are $3.99 and the large size is $6.99. Right next to the stall is Koko Chicken which sells mozzarella corn dogs, and I heard dipping the corn dog into tteokbokki sauce is a popular pairing, so I had to try it out. The texture of the rice cake was soft and chewy, and would definitely get again. Service was great, too. All the employees were helpfully. It doesn't take too long to receive your order since they scoop up the trays as you go. read more

I have gone there a couple of times now the servers were pretty nice each time and there was no problem during the purchasing process i purchased the bowl each time which was more than enough for me with the bowl you get one entree, one side, and either kimchi or mashed potatoes with them the japchae noodles and spicy chicken were delicious, the kimchi was okay I wasn't really that into it but I'm not too fond of most kimchi I'm really picky so that's not really on them but the mash potatoes were good it really complemented the rest of my bowl over all its a good place I would go back there again when I go to the mall read more

Love dduckbokki and spicy fried chicken here! This is my first time posting a review at Yelp. As a Korean, I tried so many dduckbokkis around this area, and I can tell you that their dduckbokki is the BEST in Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek. This past weekend I traveled across the bay and ordered the Third Rack of Spare Ribs with a side of Potato Salad and Mac n Cheese. The Spare Ribs - were fall of the bone tender. And the meat was so rich and flavorful. The Mac n Cheese is some of the best I've had. And the Potato Salad while it was super good but had way too much mayonnaise. But I'd probably order both again as sides! Now for the not so good. Sauce was out of Burnt Ends. Ugghhhhh! Every time I visit, I've counted on Burnt Ends being available. I understand they are a scarce commodity, but it was disappointing they were not on the menu. That's how good they are! One comment. I don't know who's decision it was to add a video arcade to the restaurant, but I sincerely felt I was in Vegas at a cheap restaurant on the strip. The place is already pretty loud but to add screaming kids and video games seems a bit odd to me. Just seems completely out of place and doesn't add to the strengths of the restaurant - creating the best environment to serve some of the best BBQ in the Bay Area. Matt says check out Sauced after you finish shopping at Nordstrom or Macy's. You'll love the BBQ. Just make sure you are seated opposite from the video arcade.

This place was such a pleasant surprise! Hidden inside the mall, it feels like the kind of spot you'd stumble on while shopping, but honestly, the food could stand out on its own even without the foot traffic. I got the croquettes, fried mandu, tteokbokki, japchae -- everything came out flavorful and just so satisfying. The portions are generous and prices are super fair, which makes it even better. It's not close to where I live, but if it was, I could see myself being a regular. All in all -- tasty food, good value, easy! read more

First time here after I was done shopping decided to check out the food court and it looked like the most healthiest space choice out of all of the options. The guy was very nice and let me sample all the different flavors before choosing the jalapeno chicken noodle bowl which was very delicious Overall it was a nice experience they had lots of open seats available. This spot has overall very good food and very good workers. The food was very good, and was still hot when we got it. The worker that attended us was very nice, helpful, and even gave us free samples for foods we wanted to try. The price is also very reasonable for the portion size. I went by about 3 days ago and got a plate of rice, Japchae, BBQ chicken and some shrimp katsu. The rice & japchae were good but the shrimp tasted burnt and the chicken was still pink on the inside.. I hope nobody else had that happen to them.. read more
