I'm writing this email specifically to shout out George Caragea, who is the concierge at our building in Pasadena. Our building, while beautiful, is also busy and perpetually has a lot going on. Since he joined us, George has brought order to the chaos and has allowed us to have a smoother-operating building and a lot more peace of mind. On a personal note, recently (due to an issue unrelated to PMP), our carbon monoxide meter went off and my wife had to evacuate our unit along with our cat. George helped them get set up in the HOA room so that my wife could continue to work (and so that my cat could calm down), and helped my wife navigate the stressful phone calls it took in order to get help from the city. Candidly speaking, he took care of my wife and cat like they were family. It was way above and beyond, and it meant an awful, awful lot to both of us. I can only speak for the Three Sixty complex in Hawthorne, which PMP manages, but the place is great. The area is really nice, with great landscaping and greenery. The pools and hot tub are large, new, and clean, and the furniture around the deck is always in great shape. It's a great place to bring the kids. I have been living in Encino Oaks for a few years and have had consistently bad experiences with this management company. A persistent leak in my apartment and the unit below took years to address. Even then, they failed to properly dry and clean the area, leaving visible black mold. Balconies have fallen with no repair plans in sight, HOA fees have nearly tripled in three years, and property values continue to decline with no hope of recovery. They are using companies that overcharge for the work and residents have found questionable numbers in the provided statements. I cannot recommend this management company. read more

Since then, I have had a total of 3 bikes stolen from the garage and this could have all been prevented. My property manager for 649 Prospect in the South Bay has even tried helping me get a hold of them, but nobody seems to be able to help which is very unfortunate given it's been well over a year. read more

I've recently bought a unit in Pasadena Collection West. From the initial touring of the property to moving in, the onsite GM, George Caragea has been absolutely phenomenal. During initial touring, George was kind enough to accompany my agent and I to showcase the building amenities, answering questions about the neighborhood. When it was time for me to move in, due to my personal circumstances, my moving in schedule was super tight, but George's professionalism and calmness to aid me in the process was second to none! Further, as I was settling into my new home, I found out that to comply with the HOA rules, my unit needs to be carpeted. The awesome GM came to my aid. Guiding me through the HOA approval process, George made sure that the entire process was smooth and timely. Now that my unit is nicely carpet tiled, I feel settled in at last. She has the energy of 10 people. I don't know how she can sustain that! She has been quick to respond to my inquiries and there are hundreds of residents here.
