After speaking with Perry Tatafu, he scheduled a consultation appointment the same day and immediately caught the vision of what we wanted. He was prompt in getting back to us with a quote that was reasonable and acceptable. He and his team started the following day, tearing out the pre-existing concrete. They put in full days, worked well together and completed the tear out, frame and cement work in three days. We did have to wait for their return to remove the frames but once that was done, we could fully admire the new driveway and walkway, that exceeded our expectation. I'm shocked by some of Negative reviews written here and am sure they've improved their business skills since June 2022. That year, in anticipation of a large gathering to celebrate a First Birthday Celebration on my half acre home, I wanted to have a small dead tree removed from my front yard, a 5' X 30' "porch" poured across the front of my home, and a 4' X 25' long walkway poured down the North side of my home that would connect to an existing rear "porch". I am a very detailed person, and know the concrete business very well. The work was done efficiently, rapidly, expertly, and mostly correctly. As I said, I'm a very detailed person and kind of a perfectionist. I'd use PMT Concrete again, as their CONCRETE WORK (form setting, pouring, & finishing) is excellent. I had concrete work done about a year ago with this "company" and a lot of problems were reflected by other poor reviews about this company. HOWEVER, most if not all refer to the business owner named "Peni" or "Penni" but that's not who I dealt with. Who I dealt with was the daughter's husband named Peti who will take jobs under PMTs name. Allow me to give you a play by play of the whole start to finish. At first their price was awesome and reasonable however after making the mistake of giving the check for the whole price up front and a week of work and not finishing the job by picking up all the torn up ground, rock, roots, etc just left there they left the country out of nowhere due to a "family emergency". No notice, no text, no call, just left without finishing the job. 2 weeks pass and I call the number on their site again, this time a man picks up that isn't Peti or the owners daughter but the owners son who had no idea the job was happening. Turns out, this isn't the first time Peti had used the company name to do a job and both him and his wife had been told to stop doing that from the actual owner. The brother reassured me he was gonna get in contact with them after seeing the photos of the job and get them to make it right. Wouldn't you know it right after I talk to him the daughter FINALLY responds to my messages. Fast forward to about 2 months later and it took multiple times to finally get ahold of them to come by. On top of the unfinished job of not picking all that stuff up, the work was awful. Multiple hairline cracks due to poor workmanship and when asked, Peti said that was normal however after talking to a friend of mine that works for the state he informed me that work is unacceptable. My buddy told me to ask for his concrete license so he could look up the legitimacy of this company. After asking for it he switched gears and said he would replace all the cracked concrete. To be honest I just wanted the job done so he could leave and I would never have to deal with this anymore. But it just kept getting worse and worse. From breaking my sliding gate rail, to breaking concrete with their tractor and patching not replacing the breaks, leaving trash every where, and concreting up to my wooden fence as in attaching it which I was told was also incorrectly done, I was fed up with this whole situation and wanted it to be over with. After they had finished "fixing" all their mistakes all I needed left was his concrete license and the money that it cost to fix the railing which luckily after telling him multiple times he gave me the money after trying to convince me that one of his guys can weld it back together which isn't fixing the problem but prolonging it. However fast forward to current day a lot of the work he did is chipping away and crumbling so now I have to have a different company come and redo this unacceptable work. And no, I still never got his concrete license. read more

I had peti from PMT concrete come do concrete work and the trucks that brought the concrete in ended up digging up our asphalt and I asked Peti to come back and fix it and he said he would, but after four tries of me, hounding him to come back and waiting in this extreme heat all day long he never showed. Then I had my brother call him and he said he'd be there the next day and again he never showed he finally did show up, probably after this being the sixth time and all he did was throw some gravel grey gravel on my black asphalt and never even secured it or sealed it so it's loose. I had asphalt poured and they did not follow my instructions. They dug up my on-site miniature walkway, which I did not want and spread the asphalt up to my porch. I had to clean up after them which they should've took care of. They left soda, cans, par of gloves and a pick including small patches of concrete and left over dirt. It took a bit to get their business information as promised, including my warranty. I also notice the company website is down. I asked the contractor when I can park my vehicle to my surprise he said the next day all my research says otherwise. My concerns are the edges around the asphalt. They could of squared it off better. Time will tell if this company was worth the money I paid them. read more

They were friendly, and I was understanding when the one day job needed to be rescheduled twice after they got started. Both times they showed up water bottles were left in my yard, a 30# bag of rocks was left in my front yard (they were working in the back yard), some of that bag even got dumped into my green waste can, and they dumped 2 wheelbarrows worth of extra concrete in my yard. One lump on concrete was left behind my shed on some card board and the other was put on top of a sewer drain. Pictures included. The concrete slab looks good at least. Unfortunately, how you leave a work site and leaving things to be cleaned up by the person who hired you seems unprofessional. read more

Work performed last month. Horrible company, poor customer service.Terrible quality concrete. Looks decent from afar. Not level, not smooth. Brush finish was subpar as well, bumpy, rough edges. Failed to smooth around gutters. Parts of concrete not finished at all. When asked why he laughed and stated the broom didn't reach... on a 36" walkway. Covered up one of my drains with cement. When asked he said he didn't know I would need it and would fish it out. He finally did, leaving a crater under cement and rocks and dirt in pipe. The drains he did move are angled, not flush with ground. Had rain since then and they're not draining. Neglected to place drain for condensation, water dripping over concrete that day. Tore up my front yard drip system. Stated he capped it, then denied ever saying he did. (One positive is he did reimburse for supplies to repair the system). Left soda cans in yard. Left nails behind. Was somewhat punctual until it was time to fix his errors, then late every time or didn't show up at all. Kept me waiting all day then at 4:30 pm stated he was not coming at all. Rescheduled for Saturday, pinned him down to a time. Text him Saturday morning, said he would be a little late. Text him again later that morning, said he would not be by at all. Ignored texts, ignored calls. His wife/office manager also ignored calls, or would pick up the phone then hang up when I called to discuss repairs. Would not recommend. We are very pleased with the work PMT did for us. We recently moved into a newly built home so our backyard was a blank slate. We knew we wanted a patio, walkway along the back and side of the house, a smaller pad just outside our garage access door and to widen the driveway a bit and connect it to the side access area. I told Peni what I had in mind and he was quick to come out, take some measurements and get an estimate over to us. We negotiated the addition of a small walkway connecting the driveway and front porch at no additional cost and he agreed so we booked the work to start the following week. The crews showed up on time and got right to work. I was impressed with the progress they made in just one day. Everything was dug out, carefully framed, mesh and a solid base poured. There were a couple of areas that I wanted some small changes to the framing and the crew was quick to accommodate my requests and make sure I was happy. They added an extra curb at the back of our patio since the fence line was a bit higher than our pad which was awesome. Peni and his crew are fast, maybe too fast. Attention to detail is not priority, they just want to get it done. I understand and expect concrete to crack, but not in 3 days. There was no rebar or wire mesh added before they poured, I trusted his word that he put fiber into the mix, but now I'm not so sure. The brush in some areas is pretty rough and they didn't take into consideration the condensation that would drip onto concrete from AC. He will not fix unless I agree to do more work. I advise to look elsewhere before considering work to be done by PMT. read more

Terrible experience. Had to file a complaint with the contractor's board. They poured a new patio and walkway and then walked all over it. They told me to wait 3 weeks for the footprints to go away. They did not. And then they ignored me. It took 5 months and the contractor's board to finally get them to fix the job. The contractor's board gives the contractor 10 days to contact the homeowner to come up with a solution and Peni's wife finally called on the last day to make an appointment to come look at the footprints.They ended up doing an overlay, which I didn't approve, but they showed up and did it anyway. The overlay color was horrendous. The color looked like they threw black paint all over it. They don't communicate so you never know when they are going to come to your house. And in the middle of all this their license is suspended due to not having workers comp insurance. Due to the length of time it was taking to get the job done, the contractor's board then assigned my case to another division. PMT was cited. This company does not take pride in their workmanship. They want their money now and if there's a problem they are suddenly not available. So basically, don't use them. read more

I found these guys with a Google search and they gave me a great deal, did a fantastic job and cleaned up afterwards too! I had to have a pool deck repaired due to tree roots lifting up the pad and causing a crack along the top of the pool trim. PMT's crew came in, busted out the old concrete, dug out a bunch of roots (6" diameter!) and poured new concrete with a bullnose face edge. They matched the existing exposed aggregate almost perfectly! I couldn't be happier with the results! read more

I called Peni and he stopped by the same day to give me a rough estimate on my project. I wanted two concrete patios poured, one to include embedding fence posts in the ground and concrete. PMT sent me a hard estimate the next day (Friday) and said they could start work on Monday morning. I was happy with the price and set the appointment. Per a conversation with PMT, I was expecting the crew between 8-9 am on Monday. They were late and I had to call to see when they were planning on arriving. Someone came over relatively soon after I called so I could explain the specifics of the plan. Off to work I went and I came home to the areas being dug out and prepped for concrete. The concrete was poured later in the afternoon on the second day of the job. The end result was excellent and I'm super happy with the patios. I also had PMT come and excavate out about 600 sq ft of dirt (3 inches deep) around my property on a different day. I had tried to do the project myself, but lacked the correct tools. I called PMT and they came out the same evening to do the job for a reasonable price. The work was decent. There are some new cracks and chunks missing in some edges of the sidewalk and the excavation isn't completely even, but it was sufficient and I'm really glad they could come do it on such short notice. read more

UPDATE: I've had PMT do several additional jobs since the review below and want to advise people to supervise the work, be specific, oversee cleanup, verify the color of stain IN THE LABELLED BAG. Their prices are cheaper because there's not great quality control. If you QC yourself, you can get a good value. Don't pay until you've closely inspected the work. They left some large cracks in remaining cement when they demolished old cement. They used a cheaper color than I asked for the second pour so they don't match. All in all the work is good though but they are not careful during demo and clean up. read more

When I spoke with Peni everything is great . He said he'll dig up to 3-4 inches with gravel and mesh wire. During the process installing the wood where concrete is poured they did not add gravel and mesh wired very disappointed.
