    Meatball poboy

2nd time here and we brought the kids so we sat down to eat. It's a small eating area but is clean and well stocked. Cashier was friendly and helpful. We had the roast beef poboy and French fry poboy. The roast beef was one of the best I've had. Full of roast beef and gravy. It was messy which is always a good thing for a poboy. The French fry poboy was so full of French fries and had a good amount of gravy. Both were filling a good value. If you're on the hunt for a good poboy in Metairie, this is a good place to go.

Firstly, I feel I was charged too much for the meal I ordered. I was in a rush to get to the airport so I couldn't make a comment while there. The menus are posted everywhere but the order came out I a different total before taxes. I ordered the shrimp po-boy with onion rings and enjoyed the onion rings. The sauce was good but the onion rings could have been eaten without the sauce. The sandwich was decent but I wouldn't write home about it. If you're looking for something, just okay, then this is it. The inside was full of tables and welcoming. The food arrived hot and fresh.

The staff here are very friendly. The food was really good and the inside has a lot of seating area.

Took very long to get food. No sense of urgency for the customer. Very odd atmosphere

Chocolate chip cookie (9/10): Highlight of the meal. It's a pretty good cookie. Fruit cup w/ dip (8/10): That dip! Yum. Much better tasting than the dip you get in the grocery store fruit trays. The strawberries and pineapple could've been sweeter, but the grapes were good. Service (9/10) The to-go team member was knowledgeable and friendly. She told me about the catering process, which was helpful. Ambiance (8/10) I picked up a to-go order so I didn't receive the full experience, but the place looked clean and inviting.

It is so rare to find a place where the food tastes the same every single time you visit. I never have to worry about a recipe changing unexpectedly or the quality dipping; it's always that same savory, delicious flavor I've come to crave. Because the food is so good, the word has definitely gotten out! It starts to get quite busy and energetic right around 11:30 AM. If you're planning to dine in, just be prepared for a lively, loud atmosphere--it's a popular spot for a reason! What really keeps me coming back is the complimentary ice cream cone. There is something so special about an establishment that shows appreciation for its patrons by offering a little treat on the house. Even when the restaurant is packed, that gesture makes you feel like a valued customer. For the most part, the machine is always up and running perfectly, unless it's down for a quick tune-up. Overall, if you want a reliable, delicious lunch with a sweet finish, you can't beat this place. It's worth every penny

Italian sandwich shop conveniently located by Tulane!…read more If you have ever been to Italy, you know this iconic focaccia bread sandwich, well here it is in New Orleans! The Roma is probably my favorite because it is more savory. The positano was a little sweeter than I expected with the fig jam. I love the fig jam. Both sandwiches were great and you can't go wrong Price is pricey Bread is oily Parking is street and somewhat difficult to find, had to walk 2 blocks Only has about 3 small tables to sit outside, otherwise you're out of luck. I took it to go since there was no seating. Overall, I'd definitely come back. I think half a sandwich per person would suffice instead of a whole next time. It still tasted good after being in the fridge for a day.

The prosciutto was heavenly, the sweetness of the fig spread coupled with the spicy Calabrian chilis is out of this world. Sooo good! Mike had the Pisa. Despite the chicken being a perfectly thin cotoletta (yes, I have been taking Italian lessons for the past year ) it was still moist and crispy. The sauce was wonderful and the mozzarella was melted to form the most delightful sandwich. We had planned to get back over there before we left town but failed to. Alas, another reason to come back to NOLA This place is not an eat in establishment but has 3 tables outside for you to enjoy your sandwiches. The young lady who took our order was friendly and pleasant and one of the owners (the mom) chatted with us. Our experience was wonderful. It reminded us of our visits to sandwich shops in Firenze. Panini deliziosi!

I pulled up on a Sunday and since I called it in just under an hour before closing, I decided to get it to go. I ordered it about twenty minutes out and when I arrived, it was ready. The takeout process was in itself unique. I pulled up to what they called a "yellow tollbooth) to pay. He called on his radio that I paid and I pulled up to a covered door and they handed off my food. The overall ambiance from outside looked cool enough. Next time, I will eat it there, but I just did not want to be inconsiderate to everyone getting out on time. I found a local park and tore into my food. I went with the large surf and turf po' boy (roast beef and shrimp) and found it very good. For the price point, out the door with taxes, it was just over twenty dollars. The cheese fries are a sad shame. It's just melted cheddar that immediately solidifies on regular fries and gets super greasy. The fried pickles were good. The grilled chicken poor boy wasn't it - it was bland. The gumbo was good but quite watery - not many ingredients. Very little rice. Not pictured - the cole slaw was really bland. The potato salad was the best one. Husband enjoyed the fried shrimp. The roast beef tasted like cat food - terrible texture. The merch is super overpriced ($25 for a dog toy? Out of a vending machine!) The bathrooms were air conditioned and clean.
