Had another wonderful meal here ...We knew what we wanted, ordered and we were on our way. I believe our server was Lisa, friendly and accommodating. The place is small but charming, nothing fancy but really good food. I had the scallops as an appetizer, Wifey went with the sticky wings. Entrees I had the shrimp and grits and she went for the red bean and rice dish. Washed it down with some red wine (Cabernet). A really enjoyable dinner; we had the Mississippi mud pie to go, it was ok. We'll be back real soon.

Back down in the Milton DE area for a few nights and come by for dinner two nights in a row. We can get the other key food group types in and around the Philly region, but authentic Creole food.... hell no and Chase, the current top chef and owner is doing a fabulous job. He took what Mike built and established and brought Po'Boys Creole a step further if you can believe that being possible. The same great friendly staff and AWESOME TASTY AUTHENTIC food. Note, this place is food heaven on earth and only has so many tables and no one is rushing through their meals.... this food needs to be savored. Hence, come early, less wait time. First night dinner we opened with a cup of chicken and andouille gumbo, as thick as it gets and yummy. So flavorful. Next, we had the backend scallops, this hands down is a must have dish. Incredible texture, moist, flavorful and the spinach was cooked to perfection. Now for our main dishes, one sent me to heaven and back--- the Jambalaya dish was THE BEST we've ever had here. There was more spice/kick then we recall and boy that was a most welcomed surprise in our mouths. We hugged Chase for this dish, it was an award winner for sure. We also shared the crawfish etouffee which I can't get anywhere else this fresh, this much and this good. For our repeat night, night 2, we opened with the fried green tomatoes; another must have dish. My wife had a special dish-- crab cake platter and had to have the Jambalaya again. Yup, needed to experience that great cooking another night before heading back up north. We said our long good byes and welcome our next future trip to the region where Po'Boys will be on our menu for sure. Hungry yet? Then don't blame me if you drool over your smartphone looking at our food pictures.

Food & service was awesome! Scallop & fried green tomato app. Catfish, Creole & Jumayala main courses.

What a delight to find such authentic creole food at this sweet spot. This place gets busy. Be ready to wait, and when you get a table, be ready to order. The rich, fresh tastes here will leave you smiling. I had a shrimp and crawfish po boy. No way to pick it up and eat it. It was packed with seafood. There are daily specials, and service is efficient and nice.

This was our first visit here and it did not disappoint. The lovely lady was very attentive and pleasant. It's a small place but no problem finding a table for lunch. The food was scrumptious. We started with a cup of gumbo - pretty good. I would highly recommend the appetizer Blackened Scallops with Sauteed Spinach, Lemon Caper sauce. I usually do not like capers but this was just a perfect finish to the dish. Scallops perfectly cooked. Wait but there is more... the Fried Crawfish Po' Boy served on French bread with creole fries, fresh made coleslaw and choice of house made Remoulade, Cajun Tartar or Creole Honey Mustard. Since we couldn't decide which, they gave us all 3 on the side and labels them. They were all so good! If I have to pick, I would pick the creole honey mustard which is a surprising choice because I don't usually like mustard. It was piled high with crawfish and those fries were pretty amazing too! Definitely would return the next time we are in town.

Took a little road trip, off our beaten path. Small little restaurant. We had to wait about 20 minutes but well worth it. Food was hot with true creole flavors. Great service and large serving sizes.

This local favorite transitioned to a new owner. For a while, the original chef stayed in the kitchen but I haven't spotted him there for a few months. Most of the friendly staff and cooks are still there. Delicious regulars such as the gumbo, the scallop app, the Po Boys, creole dishes and desserts are pretty much the same. New items and specials are not always in the NOLA theme, such as the wings or dinner specials, but are frequently quite good. Wings are a bit sweet for me, but others really love them. Same general atmosphere, but sometimes the indie music gives way to county. (Let's see if Joe T. thinks this is an "Oh no!")

This resturant is a great find! Authentic Creole food that was flavorful and well balanced. We had the calamari, fried oysters (the favorite) and gator bites. The gator bites were a bit chewy but the other two were tender. The sauces served with them were a hit. For dinner, we had the crab cake special and the crawfish etoufee. Both were delicious. The craw fish fish was spicy, but balanced and tasted like it was straight from new orleans. The crab cakes were the best I have ever had. Full of meat with very little filler. Overall a great resturant and a must try! The dining area is small, so you may have a wait.

This place is a gem. Things never change year after year. We stop by here every year and the Crawfish Etouffé tasted the same deliciousness and the Blackened Catfish was buttery tender.

Ok y'all... EAT HERE NOW. It's been so long since a restaurant has really "Wow'd" the entire family. The restaurant is in a small strip mall, looks like an old location next to dollar store. Plenty of cars out front it was full. Every morsel was gobbled up. Even the kids devoured the food. Voodoo egg rolls are a must! Creamy cheesy inside and crispy out. Perfection. Jambalaya was awesome. Not too saucy. Just the right amount of kick. I would prefer with less chicken (personal preference). Gumbo had the most delightfully rich Roux. Red Beans and Rice was also delicious. Beignets were great. Clean restaurant. Friendly services perfect food. Keep it up Po' Boys keep it fresh and you'll continue to thrive.

We all choose either the cheeseburger or pit beef sandwich with fries. I wasn't expecting much for the $5.00 price but we were all impressed. Yeah , it was that good! The Fresh cut fries do not disappoint, and I loved the taste of the burger cooked over the flame outside . Every bite melted in my mouth and the smoky char was unreal. Delicious!

Lastly, the people in the bar were very friendly however, the bartender had a mean looking face. We ordered the mild 4 person boil and asked for a bowl of hot spice on the side and oOooOo man- it did not disappoint! It's a BYOB and the liquor store is right next door so of course we grabbed a white wine to go with the seafood. The waiter took our drink orders, brought some wine glasses with the sodas, uncorked and poured our drinks; then returned with fried rice, hush puppies, calamari, noodle lo mein. We noshed on that a bit and then... this platter of mussels, clams, shrimp, eggs, crab legs, corn, potatoes, gets placed on the table and we all dig in with our gloved hands and get to work de-shelling and cracking our shellfish! Now I love garlic- it's on of my favorite flavors- this boil had such a delicious blend of garlic and Cajun flavors we couldn't get enough of it. With every piece of meat we opened we also dipped into the seasoning in the platter and the hot spice was also so very delicious and I was happy we ordered it on the side as it was spicy but flavorful too. After we were done you can wash your hands at the wash station and or use some of the wipes provided. We did have to change out our gloves but all good! I'd absolutely recommend this place. But I was able to find an entree here that was delicious, filling and fairly (depending on your choice of sides) healthful. First, the crabs. The place is crowded. We waited about 30 minutes outside (alternative is the inside bar) and got a table. We ordered our meals and within three minutes, my partner had a tray of 6 nice-size blue crabs in front of them. The sides (the AYCE comes with fries, hush puppies and cole slaw) came a few minutes later. My entree - grilled chicken breast with 2 sides - came a few minutes later. Two large moist breasts, fries, veggies (veggies add $2) and I ordered a third side - cole slaw for extra $2.95. If you are a non AYCE crab person like me, you understand the need to pace yourself during your meal - hence, the extra side. : ) I really enjoyed my meal and my partner the crabs. The service was exceptional - both water glasses and refilling those crab orders. My partner didn't have to ask for crab refills. Before they were done with one order, the server was ready with more to add to the platter. The server was very pleasant and seemed to know most of the customers in the place. There's an enthusiasm and positive vibe here that is really great. An excellent meal and overall good experience. And that's speaking as a non-crab person!
