I don't remember ever wanting to give SIX STARS to a business in all my years on Yelp, but here we are. The first time. Poach 503 might be my favorite breakfast place, ever. I just wish it was closer to Portland where I live. I'll just have to make sure that if I'm anywhere on the Oregon coast, that I come here to eat! First of all, French toast usually sucks at a restaurant. It's usually drippy and gloppy. The French toast here at Poach 503, is simply perfect. It's the right bread, the right amount of egg, with a crispy sugar crust. Simply divine. And everything else is absolutely delicious, from the eggs to the cocktails to the biscuits and gravy. A+ and gold stars to this business! Bravo!

Get there early or just expect to wait. Opened at 8 and by 830 had a waitlist. It's a small establishment. Good for 2 people. They can push tables together for larger group. Cozy spot. Had bar seating but that was not open to just sit at. Food was great! No real complaints. Bacon was over done and they replaced it for "wobbly bacon" Only place we found to have breakfast. All other spots are coffee and grab to go food. So this was nice to get in and sit.

We really liked this place. Small well lit cafe making fresh food. Expect a wait. Danita our server was great. We ordered the burger 5/5, avocado toast 5/5, and a Bloody Mary 4.5/5. Do not miss out. Get the fried potatoes. The seasoning is a secret recipe. Off the charts.

Delicious French toast! The scramble was tasty too. Great, quick service. Would absolutely come back. Super cute inside - clean, modern, cozy.

We needed a good breakfast after a long weekend at the coast. Yolk offers just that, a delicious and fresh home-cooked brunch! We were excited to try what they had to offer. They get EXTREMELY busy. We waited over an hour for a table and were offered bar seating at around an hour wait. Normally we are fine with bar seating, however, the bar seats that they have are small wooden round seats with no backs - we just would not have been comfortable with that seating. The food came out quickly and was delicious, you can really taste that it's homemade! A bit on the pricier side ($5 for a small gravy), but I would go back especially with the limited offering at the coast.

Best breakfast bistro I've every been to. Stopped here on 4th of July with my family. Drinks were great and then the food came. Every dish better than the next. By far the best Cubano I've ever eaten. The deviled egg avocado toast was incredible. My daughters had the biscuits and gravy and the Antionio ranchero and both were delicious. I want to move to Manzanita now to be able to eat here daily. The service was excellent, I will be back. I promise.

Such a great brunch spot and well worth the wait. It was a Monday and we waited for a 2 top for about 30 minutes. We e hung at a coffee shop across the street. The service is incredible and the food is absolutely the best along the coast! Worth the stop. Also, get a slice of the custard French toast!

I will come back and update the review in a few weeks but so far the service was very friendly and fast. The wait will be long, we even ate before brunch while waiting. You can tell the owners care a lot and you notice it in local high quality ingredients. The portions were smaller than expected and too simple for me. Next time I'll try something more interesting.

It was our first time visiting Manzanita yesterday. What a beautiful beach & town, if you are in the area I highly recommend getting brunch at yolk. It is absolutely delicious with wonderful service!

So good we visited twice. We were staying nearby last weekend and dropped in for breakfast. We each got a version of the 2 egg breakfast and coffee. Everything tasted simply delicious. We loved every morsel, but the potatoes were next level. We ended up returning the following morning as well, where the hubby stuck with his previous selection but I decided to give the French toast a try (accompanied by the potatoes cuz l had no choice). Day two, everything was superb once again. The place isn't huge and seems to be a hot-spot for breakfast, so prep for a possible wait. Service was friendly, thorough, and fast. I also noticed it seemed like the staff enjoyed their jobs and was having a good time, which is always nice to see. We will definitely stop in anytime we are in the area!

Doesn't look like much from the outside but very roomie, clean and nice inside. AMAZING service! Wish I had gotten the name of the young man behind the register yesterday that attended us. He was so nice, patient, and helpful! We sat outside in the front patio with our 2 pups enjoying the beautiful weather and got the food brought out to us. We split an oyster melt sandwich, albacore tuna sandwich, and their house made tomato/orange soup. You could tell the oyster and tuna both were very fresh and not canned or frozen nonsense. They said the tuna is sourced locally from Garibaldi area about 1/2 hour south of there. The strawberry lemonade had fresh strawberry in it and was delicious and not overly sweet. We then went for a very long walk on the beach to work it all off and came back few hours later to relax at the outside patio tables again and tried the dirty fries and salmon pita (BOTH DELICIOUS). and a must try too. The food here is different, unique, and not made how you would typically expect or get anywhere else. I thought the tuna sandwich would be boring but actually left me wanting more. We were sad upon return that we didn't get to try their CLAMS because they had run out since it's one of their most popular items, but we will DEFINITELY be returning to this place, and hope to be able to try their dinner menu sometime. We both highly recomend it!

Not so long ago you would walk into a Resturant, a local business, a shop of any kind and employees were happy to see you and grateful for your business. With a few exceptions this feeling is dying in most businesses. The ownership has empowered employees with zero skin in the game to be the speaking agents for their business. I don't think that the message we get as consumers matches what the ownership would want. When I walked into the Big Wave Cafe tonight I got nothing but attitude from a young lady who acted very overwhelmed with the amount of customers in the Resturant. The place was very busy. Lots of staff standing back in the food prep area. Just standing and talking. I could tell she was stressed. Long story short I was made to feel as if I was a burden and unwelcome. I was prepared to spend 50.00 on a steak and another togo meal for my wife. Nothing but attitude from this young lady. I simply got up and walked out. There was another couple with two small children who walked out just after me. We spoke for a brief moment as they looked upset. They got the same experience. Be prepared to be talked down to and treated like they don't care if your there or not. We have eaten here before and never experienced the attitude. What happened ?

PLENTY OF OTHER COFFEE SHOPS IN THAT AREA AND STREET TO VISIT THAT ARE RUNNING THEIR BUSINESS PROFESSIONALLY. This one is very UNPROFESSIONAL. As a business owner ourselves, we WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! Another business that is VIRTUE SIGNALING. *No matter which side of the isle you are on, you should never advertise your views or try to impose them, at a place of business. Went in just wanting a good cup of coffee, nice ambiance to sit and drink it, enjoy the beautiful Oregon weather, and simply forget the cares of this crazy world. It's a shame we couldn't do that! They have signs posted everywhere stating NO KINGS, we accept all immigrants, you are safe here, and more! They try to project 'as if' they are accepting of everyone, altho common sense points to that their signs are clearly targeting the President of their own country (that allowed them to own a business and profit, through capitalism), with posting ridiculous brain washing terminology and targeting any American who tends to have any type of different views in the greatest country in the world with freedoms for 'ALL' to have value and opinion. I lived in a communist country and understand the difference FIRST HAND. SADLY some BUSINESS OWNERS can't seem to comprehend that staying OUT of politics and virtue signaling opens your business up to HELP MAKE 'EVERYONE' welcomed and PROSPERS your business! I wish I would have gotten photos of all the ridiculous signs. Good businesses (like great celebrities also), learn to keep their personal opinions to themselves and just serve others. You are killing your own profits and eventually it will catch up to you. AGAIN, PLENTY OF OTHER COFFEE SHOPS IN THAT AREA AND SAME STREET TO VISIT THAT ARE RUNNING THEIR BUSINESS AS 'PROFFESIONALS'. ****Not to mention that as we were in there, a man came up to the register to return his coffee because the creamer was hurdled!!!! The manager, or owner, (not sure exactly), was walking around the shop (not behind the counter), overheard him and walked over to the creamer. Looked into the creamer container, said "OH", and just handed the bad creamer to the employee behind the counter. However, she (owner or manager) never said a thing to her customer who had the bad experience, nor offered anything to correct the disappointment. The register guy simply replaced his bad coffee with another fresh cup and everyone moved on. In our opinion as business owners also, this is horrible customer service and a company who is only concerned about their pockets. Not repeat clientele nor a good reputation. They DONT care about anyone, (unlike what their signs try to portray), because THAT customer could have been one of their own, yet he still got treated horribly. A refund or added free treats for that customer, would have left a good experience for him and all who saw the incident, and only cost the business a few bucks, and possibly a write off. *POINT OF REVIEW: 'BEWARE' of businesses who virtual signal ANY political views or opinions, and simply go to those that welcome 'EVERYONE' with a simple smile and good customer service (period).

Also, no children allowed, just fur babies on the back patio. The best time to experience the San Dune is on a late summer afternoon or early evening on the back patio.
