The poor reviews are clearly from people without Hilton status that have to pay for the food. Is this buffet worth $40 a person? Definitely not. Is it worth it to come down and eat a large buffet for free before exploring the city? Absolutely. They offer your typical American breakfast options as well as some Asian fare as well. This included build your own miso soup, vegetable stir fry, rice, dumplings, and plenty more. The staff was very friendly and take care of you. They are knowledgeable on all the different breakfast coupons/vouchers for each status level within the hotel. They also explain that diamond members can order off their menu as well, which is a great way to skip the fake "eggs". Overall, quality buffet if you can get it for free as a diamond member. Definitely not worth $40 per person when you can walk anywhere for a local breakfast.

Pro; Great service , great food selection, fresh fruit, make your own miso soup, Wonderful buffet. Con; It cost $39.99 but the real "Con" is they include a 15% service charge to each check, even if you eat alone like I did. I've never heard of them including their tip for one person. Anyways it just something to be aware of. I would of left double that, but I'm kinda ticked they added that. It's not posted anywhere.

The food and service was amazing! Our waitress was very polite. The breakfast, was everything we could've wished for! I ordered the plain poached eggs but wish I had ordered a full breakfast like my partner had. The serving size for the French toast was less than expected, but the taste made up for the lack of food. Will definitely be going back my next visit to SF!

The customer service excellent perfect except one she gave me hard time but I still give five stars except her zero star For the food and the quality it's perfect For the price I think it's pricey for the kind of food the have

Most of the staff are friendly but probably need for some to chill out/not rush every last hour between 10am-11am for the guests to have a relaxing stay at the hotel where Poached is located. I do like the variety of breads and pastries they have.

Food wise I would provide 3.5 stars because you do get a decent amount of variety. The congee and Asian offerings are there and decent. The congee was plain and totally unsalted. I thought that was weird. Their made to order eggs Benedict was perfect; I would definitely order that again. For the price of $39/full breakfast, I thought it was entirely too expensive. Fortunately, we had a hotel special that included it so we aren't mad about it. For something quick inside the hotel it's fine but you would probably get something a bit better when you step outside.

A charming little bistro inspired by the Marlowe cows, I'm assuming, managed to stun us with several memorable dishes. The warm deviled eggs were an excellent start. Savory yet delicate enough to not weigh us down right at the beginning of our meal. The horseradish aioli wasn't for me, but I can see its appeal for a certain audience. You give me a Calabrian chili sauce and it's guaranteed to make me happy and this shrimp with sweet corn was no exception. Again, light but a punchy flavor that was enjoyable. I could go on and on about the different dishes we tried but the real standout of the night was the pork tenderloin with chorizo and peaches. The sweetness from the peaches somehow managed to enhance the flavor of the chorizo. This dish gives you a bold, savory and sweet bite all together but still won't have you feeling super heavy. The portion size is perfect. Im hoping to return soon for another exquisite meal.

This time, we came on a weekday around 1:30 PM and waited about 30 minutes. Fair warning: expect a wait regardless! Based on our two visits, coming on a weekday and later in the day seems much more manageable. Both of us ordered The Plow with the house-made pork sausage, which comes with eggs, Plow potatoes, and lemon ricotta pancakes. Such a satisfying meal! The house-made pork sausage patties were juicy and packed with flavor. The Plow potatoes tasted fresh and were crispy, crunchy, and rustic. The lemon ricotta pancakes were a great way to finish the meal--after all the savory flavors from the eggs, potatoes, and sausage, the pancakes with maple syrup were the perfect sweet ending. We also both got the cold brew with oat milk. Strong and really good--exactly how we like our cold brew! Service: Great! Everyone was friendly and attentive, and they checked in on us frequently even though the restaurant was busy. Ambiance: Plow is a relatively small restaurant, but it still feels clean, spacious, and bright. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. The bathroom was also very clean, but just a heads-up that there's only one restroom for the entire restaurant, so you may have to wait. Overall, 5/5! We've enjoyed Plow both times we've visited.
