We contracted with Poco Verde to do our pool install and backyard landscaping after moving into our new build home in May 2021. The timeline from start to completion was going to be long, due to the challenges with getting product, and labor, in the middle of the pandemic. The team was up front and transparent about potential delays that might happen during the Covid period, but remained very communicative throughout the process. Patrick, Debbie, Lizeth, Aaron and Tyson all went above and beyond in keeping us up to date on the timelines for each phase of the project, and worked diligently with us through challenges that came up (related to in stock product) as we went along. Patrick was particularly helpful when it came to presenting viable alternative options for tile and travertine color when our original selections were out of stock. He was ultimately able to run down pool tile that was exactly the same color and style that we had originally chosen, and provided us with an excellent back-up to our first choice for travertine color that we ended up liking better than our original choice. The sub-contractors used on our project were courteous, polite, knowledgeable and did an excellent job with each phase of our job. Even though it took 6 months and 1 week to finish, we couldn't be happier with the results! Poco Verde Pool and Landscaping has done outstanding work on our yard. We have been working with Patrick Brown for the design of both the pool and landscaping and Patrick is a very professional incredibly knowledgeable expert that is very responsive to phone, email and text messages. I cannot say enough about how much we have enjoyed working with Patrick. We were able to design a pool that more than meets our needs, fits our budget and it will enhance the beauty of the backyard. The landscaping will really enrich the look and the plants selected will nicely fit the areas around the pool and yard. We will have Travertine tile around the pool and extend to cover the patio, an 85 sq ft artificial grass area for our Beagle Oliver and a cement paver walkway that will extend from the pool area through the wide side of the yard under the double RV gate and connect with the driveway. Tyson, our pool construction expert has done an exceptional job of keeping us informed on the progress of the pool from the digging phase through the plumbing, steel bar installation inside the pool and the electrical wiring to the control panel. The next step will be the shotcrete installation inside the pool and we cannot wait for this to happen. We chose Poco Verde to do a makeover of our backyard and have to say they exceeded our expectations of quality of work and timely completion. From the moment we met the site designer through the finished work we knew that Poco Verde was dedicated to their customers with quality work and listening to what the customer wanted (NOT WHAT THEY THOUGHT WAS JUST RIGHT FOR US). Our project was not a large job but we were always treated with the highest respect and never felt we were being passed over so they could service their high dollar-high profit accounts. During the completion of our project we voice several concerns and questions and there was one minor delay but all our concerns and questions were addressed at once and never longer than the next day in the morning. We chose Poco Verde upon recommendation of our spa salesperson. Meeting Bob and seeing the very attractive ramada they build sealed the deal. As we had a new build, we had a lot of decisions to make and many changes were made along the way to accommodate price and esthetics. In the end, we have the landscaping that matches our dream. The entire crew is unmatched in the construction industry. Even the care with which the men set the boulders, shows their skill, caring and pride of workmanship. Poco Verde just completed an amazing 'staycation' paradise in our yard. The pool turned out amazing, the pavers, fire pots, lighting 'wows' everyone who comes over. The owner Bob stayed active throughout my entire job to make sure it was done correctly and in a timely manner. Richard & Gary took care of my pool and amazing 'D1 hot tub' with bar install. The pool is top notch and shows amazing. Juan & crew really did quality, endless labor intense work in extreme heat conditions and COVID challenges on the pavers, fireplace and water features. Ronnie followed through with all the scheduling and was very pleasant to work with. This was a huge project they worked very hard on and completed in these difficult COVID times. I had Poco Verde do my brand new pool and landscaping in North Peoria. They are extremely professional and stuck to the time line. I know very little if not next to nothing in regards to pools or landscaping. They have explained everything and very details to me, heck now I know how to run my own pool system. I am also very picky. I had few minor issues that needed to be fixed after the major stuff was done, no questions asked everything on my to do list has been attended to and done. Also there was a mistake on my fake grass, when I said I was not happy how it looked, they are completely replacing it for me. We literally found Poco Verde Landscaping through a flyer. A flyer that I saw at several builder home models. I got 3 quotes from pool installation companies and eventually selected Patrick at Poco Verde to design our pool and backyard design. Why? The flyer. I kept seeing it at the homes I toured. I got to see his work up close at the models and we liked it. Also, we found the company to be competitive with rates. It's all done now and it's AMAZING! Poco Verde did a FANTASTIC job from sales to install to quality control. Warranty has been super simple to deal with. We had a couple plants that died, they came out and replaced them right away. Pocco Verde did our front landscaping, our swimming pool and backyard landscaping. Our pool was complete in 4 months even with all the material shortages, (covid) and it was done beautifully and exactly what we ask for. We received emails with contact info at every stage during the process of what to expect. If I called with questions or concerned everyone I spoke to was very helpful and professional, emails were always responded to in a timely manner. I had purchased a new build home and the developer's landscaping packages were too expensive. Since Poco Verde was not in this development my wife contacted them. We visited with Mandie over the phone and he was very helpful and provided us with a very competitive written quote through e-mail. After a couple of tweaks, Mandie and her designers created a beautiful landscape package for our backyard. Once I made the deposit I was transferred to the care of Justine. She worked with us with regards to the timing of the installation since the streets were being re-slurried. This is my second review for Poco Verde. They re-landscaped our back yard at the end of summer 2018. We were very happy with the final product and things have been great. We have had a couple of follow up questions and they been very responsive. As part of the work they did, they left us some drip line to put in pots with flowers. I knew I wasn't going to plant them until spring and when I finally got around to it, the lines weren't working. We emailed Peggy (she is awesome) and Luis (he is awesome too) came by, made sure everything was working and showed my husband how the sprinklers were configured. We hired Poco Verde Landscaping after we saw the good work they did on our previous house we were renting. They not only CARE about their work but the employees are fantastic. Peggy Mclain took care of the sale and Ricardo was the head of the maintenance. It was a big job and Peggy guided us to keep the price down but get the look we wanted. Ricardo would answer any text I sent him and he ALWAYS did what he said! Peggy answered my MANY questions immediately by email and she came to check on the job regularly. When I wanted to get my backyard redone, I reached out to Matt at Poco Verde. Matt was great! He's very knowledgeable and helped me figure out what to do with my yard. He's a stickler for details and that showed especially when trying to put my 42" grill into a curved BBQ island. Matt came out and made sure that the grill was straight and looked perfect. If he hadn't come out and fixed the placement, it would have been very crooked and I wouldn't have been happy. Even afterwards, 1 of my accent light's bulb burnt out and Matt brought over a new one.
