Front yard turf, landscaping and paver steps
    Lori M.

We hired them to redo our front yard landscaping with turf, plants and pavers. We worked with Peggy and she was amazing! She listened to what we wanted and gave us a few designs to choose from. We changed up a few things along the way and it was no problem for them. We are very happy with how it all turned out!

We had an excellent experience with Poco Verde. We worked with Peggy to start our project and she was involved throughout. She met with us and created a design for our front courtyard and two side yard areas. Our job was not really big and they usually do not handle small projects so we were glad they would work with us. Peggy provided us a quote and timeline and they stuck pretty close to the schedule. There were some long lead times for some plants but no surprises there. Jose and Claudio did most of the work and were very easy to work with. There were minor challenges with communicating but Peggy was available if needed. If you speak Spanish it will make things easier. The areas we had done were pretty sparse and needed some help. We had a pathway put in along with pots, plants, rock and some nice trellises on the walls. See the pictures for the results!

Our yard and pool are finally complete! Thank you Poco verde for your hard work and dedication. We cannot wait to have family and friends over for us to make great memories. COVID has for sure put things on hold, like everything else, but just remember that's not the company's fault. Yes at times it took some calls to remind them we were still here. But overall they always followed up. Especial thanks to the hard working crews that completed the jobs, Rhonda, Sally, Debbie, Bob, Gary, Tyson and Aaron. It takes a team to make things happen. Again thank you !

    Leak in waterline

One of the worst experiences I've had with a landscape company. Insane. My builder in Chandler had them as the only option to provide upgraded landscaping. The guys who installed our front walkway made it WAY off center from the patio and even did the steps half the size that the plans called for. They redid it and then messed it up AGAIN. Then they redid it again and messed it up AGAIN! If they would have just asked us or even looked closely at the plans it would have been one and done. Pushed out close date out because of it. Now I've had the house for less then two weeks and there's a massive leak in the landscaping watering line somewhere and it caused one of the steps to cave in and water to go everywhere. NEVER use them. I also asked for a pool quote from them and wait for months and never got it after emailing the sales guy for the quote a dozen times.

Excellent job, price point and customer service. I had been wanting to install artificial grass in my backyard but never imagined it would turned out so well. Highly recommended!

Poco Verde built our pool and landscaped our backyard. Overall we're very happy with the finished product. The pool is beautiful. Bill Ringling as a project manager was great to work with. Their prices were in line with other contractors. The follow-up after the pool was built, including showing us how to use the equipment, was awesome and they've been wonderful about answering questions that have come up due to operator error! One thing to note is that you do have to stay on top of them in order to get work done. We'd go for days with no work being done and others times when the workers did show up the work was done at a snail's pace. It seems there's some discord between the landscape/worker side and the office staff. The office staff member doing the scheduling also left a lot to be desired. All that being said, a nice pool and landscaping.

I…read morewill follow up once the project has been completed with a review of the actual planting. Although I was trained as a Master Gardener in the Monterey Bay area, I had the pleasure to live in Marana for several years so I am familiar with what grows well in that area. Plus I worked for two years in the nursery at Tohono Chul Park, so I knew at least little bit about the area and what plants I wanted to grow. As a result, I had some ideas in mind when it came designing the landscape for the home we were building. I started by providing a list of the types of Sonoran Desert plants of which I am fond and some basic ideas to be considered in the design of our landscape. I could not have been happier with how well the design team listed to my input and then put together a top notch design. In a few instances I had an idea that the design team suggested I might not be as happy with as I thought. So I listened to their advice and gave the go ahead for them to incorporate their ideas into proposed layout. The resulting schematic of the landscaping and photos of a few of the plants they were suggesting really helped me make my decisions. As happy as I was during the pre-design phase, the follow up was even better. Their communication skills and friendliness helped tremendously since we ended up doing most of the planning from 800 miles away. Whether by phone or email, response times to my questions and requests were prompt, clear, and could not have been of better quality That's why I feel the need to provide input before the job is complete. They also interacted well with the Construction Foreman building the house to the actual coordinate landscaping with the completion of the house we are building. I worked primarily with Amy Dougherty and Megan Colon (East). They are the best!

While the pricing felt high, we were satisfied at the time with the design quality and overall responsiveness during the install phase. In 2026, we reached back out to Creative Environments to inquire about ongoing monthly maintenance for our trees and bushes. An initial appointment was scheduled, but no one showed up. We were later contacted and told there was a scheduling conflict. The appointment was then rescheduled, and someone did come out to walk the property and discuss what we were looking for. Unfortunately, that's where communication completely broke down. Twelve days after the walkthrough, we still had not received a quote, so I followed up via text with the representative who came out. He responded the following day and said his general manager would be reaching out. Seven more days passed, and we still received no communication, no quote, and no follow-up of any kind. For a company that positions itself as a high-end provider -- and that we previously trusted with a very large investment -- this level of customer service is unacceptable and frustrating. The lack of follow-through and communication is appalling. Based on this experience, I do not recommend using this company, especially if you value responsiveness and basic customer service.

Lumiere Chandler - First day, flooded really bad and they kept this big hole in our bathroom for 2 weeks. So gross!

The apartment we rented has large bedrooms and good storage with a large patio. It's relatively quiet here. I do like it here and even though the apartments are older I like the layout of the apartment. Cons. The exterior of the apartments could use a fresh coat of paint. There are only two grassy areas. Ants run amok in the summer so be careful with your dogs and kids. The bathrooms are in desperate need of renovation. They paint over the flaws. My bathroom shower stall has old mold and mildew. The shower doors should have been replaced long ago. I often shower at my gym instead.

We were not allowed to view the specific unit prior to applying. The smoking issue was only uncovered after our application was approved, and several days later when we were finally able to view the unit. There was still an incredibly noticeable smoke odor present throughout the entire unit. Management acknowledged the issue and offered remediation and vendors to treat the unit several days after our approval when we first were able to see the unit (thankfully before we signed a lease). While we appreciate those efforts, we were not comfortable moving into a unit with lingering smoke due to health concerns and the risk of the odor returning ESPECIALLY in a property marketed as SMOKE-FREE. Had this information been disclosed before applying, we would NOT have applied for the unit. Despite this, management refused to refund the $250 administrative fee, citing a 72-hour policy, even though the critical information that impacted our decision was not disclosed until after that window had passed. We requested escalation to upper management, and the situation ultimately ended in an unpleasant phone call with Elle, which added to the frustration. It's disappointing because the property itself had some potential; however, transparency and disclosure matter, especially when health and safety are involved. Future applicants should ask very direct questions, insist on viewing the exact unit before applying, and get all disclosures in writing.

At the end of the summer, they stopped leaving notices and were coming on random days of the week. We keep our pool gate locked so that neighborhood kids don't come in the backyard and it was extremely frustrating to not know when they were going to be at the house. Yesterday, a tech randomly showed up in our backyard saying we were on his route. Like I said before, we canceled the service 3 months ago, so why was he there?! My husband explained the service was canceled. The man apologized and left. When we went out into the backyard later that day, we noticed brokenn plastic pieces next to the pool pump. My husband pulled out the filter and the tech that had come had broken our pool filter... maybe as revenge??? Highly unprofessional and immature. Needless to say, we will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and I would not recommend this pool service to anyone!
