Been wanting to do this for the longest time! The experience was AWESOME the karts are so fast and everyone is very friendly. Basically just a heads up we ended up going on a Saturday night around 8PM it wasn't busy at all which was great. You go in enter your information / sign up for an account then one race is about $30+ with that new signup fee I assume they also have other deals/ packages to get more races. Then once that's all done you do a little training course where they go over the rules ect! Then your off to the race track it's 5 laps guaranteed I believe. Unfortunately for us some dude crashed and ended up damaging a part of the track so we had to stop, they needed up just giving us a full refund and gave us other options but we just took the refund. Long story short this place is great and I will definitely be back.

*** So are you an adrenaline junkie? *** If so, then you would love Unser Racing. The last time that I gotta natural high like this was from skydiving. Unser Racing is what I'd call "an intensely fun" kinda time. It is technically go-karting, but @40mph! Obviously I've been chilling on the beach a lil too long b/c my race time sucked. (lol) You have gotta resurrect your inner Mario Andretti here and be very competitive to get the biggest bang for your buck. Each 7min race cost $25, and everyone on the track is trying to personally exceed their best recorded time ... think Grand Prix. Everyone receives a printout of the race results: lap times, position, top rpm, etc. Unser is designed for the race enthusiast. My fave part was actually a crash I was in. I was hit from behind on a pass and did a 180 wipe-out. That impact was intense ... yellow flag came out and everything. (lol) *** Ain't no cruising around this track. ***

    Kart racing...can't wait!

Do i need a valid driver lincense bc Im just visitong from another country do i dont have a colorado driver license?

Hi Javier, You do not need a driver's license but will need a government-issued photo ID…

    Is there a weight limit?

Thank you for reaching out. We do not have an exact weight limit on our karts but 250-275lbs is going to be the upper limit of being comfortable fitting in the kart. You are always more than welcome to come in prior to racing to look at the karts.

We walked in with absolutely no idea what to expect, and I'm so glad we decided to give it a try! The racing simulators are incredibly immersive, allowing you to compete head-to-head against everyone in your group. If you've never done anything like this before, don't worry, the attendants do a great job explaining everything, and the simulator walks you through the controls before the race begins. It was easy to pick up and an absolute blast. The venue also has a bar-and-restaurant atmosphere, so you can grab drinks or a bite to eat before or after racing. Just keep in mind you can't eat while you're actively racing, so it's best to plan accordingly. Another nice bonus is that F1 Arcade offers a military discount, which we always appreciate seeing. Whether you're a racing fan or just looking for something different to do with friends or family, F1 Arcade is a fantastic experience. We walked in with zero expectations and left talking about when we could come back. Definitely one of the highlights of our day!

It's a cool…read moregame and all (I mostly sucked at it, lol), and it lets you choose different levels, which definitely impacts the game you're playing. But there are no other games. It's very expensive to play the games. I was at a group event, so I didn't have to, but I would not go back and play a $10 per race car game that's only a couple minutes long each. The minimum is about a $50 charge, you can't go alone/have to have at least 2 people, and online it says that's 5 games & also says that's 45 mins. There's also a lull reload time in between games, so you're also paying for that time not racing and just waiting. They do have a happy hour, so that's cool. I wonder if they get busy for that, but it is only M-F from 3-6. There is currently beer, wine, and a couple of cocktails for $5 - $8 and a few snacky food items for $8. I guess they'll always have the restaurant and corporate packages, if that's enough business. As a regular person, it's a pretty expensive night out between the game package price, food, drinks. They even have some cocktails priced at $23+, come on, people! Why don't we just charge $50 a drink? I don't know how people are affording to go out at the full prices anymore. I'd def hit it up for happy hour again, but that would be it for me.

The actual go carts are so fast and fun- perfect for a small get together with friends. However the one draw back is the price. It was around $50 a person which was quite price. Each racer got two 12 lap races, food & drink, one hour reserved seating, arcade tokens & top finishers got medals - plus all racers got to race together with a reserved time. The price was about $80 per racer. We paid separately for additional food for spectators. These go carts are electric, so no smell & pretty quiet. A few things to note, racers need to be at least 48 inches tall & if you have more than twelve racers you then split into two groups. Also, K1 has an Arrive & Drive option for just racing, it's first come first serve. The day we went was for a birthday. After checking in racers registered & signed waivers after which they got balaclavas & helmets. Instructions were given but it was rather hard to hear. Our racers had a blast...they loved it - it was a great experience. Right after racing our lunch was ready, it was served buffet style. We choose Cheese & Pepperoni Pizzas, BBQ & Buffalo Chicken Wings & soft drinks. There were no salad or vegan options. The pizza was good, however the wings were even better & delicious. Since we were a big group we had a private party room. The only outside food allowed was dessert. Our party ran smoothly, the staff was friendly & very helpful. All in all a great time!

We've been coming out to IMI for years, mostly because there are limited options in this area, and…read morethe kids enjoy coming here. I personally can't say I share their enthusiasm, but we continue to come because they enjoy it. That said, I honestly don't understand the recent price increase when the overall experience and facilities haven't improved. For one bike for a 10-year-old, we paid $30, which feels pretty steep for what you actually get. The track itself may be enjoyable for the kids, although I personally think the tracks could be better, especially compared to others throughout the state. Either way, the amenities and overall experience for spectators simply don't justify the increased cost. There are extremely limited shaded areas for parents and spectators. There's basically one small area with shade in a large, wide-open space where most people are sitting in direct sun. More shaded seating would make a huge difference. And the bathrooms are a major issue. The porta-potties are consistently disgusting, there wasn't even toilet paper available for the women. That is a pretty basic amenity to expect at a facility that is charging admission. I also honestly don't remember seeing a trash can anywhere, which makes the lack of cleanliness even more frustrating. I could understand an increase in price if there had been meaningful improvements to the facility. For example, there is plenty of room for at least a couple of pavilions since the tracks are spread out, or even just some additional benches and shaded seating. Cleaner, properly stocked bathrooms, additional porta-potties, and adequate trash cans would also go a long way toward improving the experience. But as far as we can tell, literally nothing has changed. And this isn't a complaint from someone who showed up once and had a bad experience. We've been coming here for years, and I actually left a review two years ago with the exact same complaints about the dirty and unstocked porta-potties. Two years later, we're still dealing with the same issues. The kids want to continue coming, but if you're going to increase the price, then the quality of the amenities and overall experience needs to increase as well. At $30 for one kid to ride one bike, I just don't feel the cost reflects what you're getting. Hopefully some of that additional revenue can actually go toward improving the facilities and making IMI a better experience, not just for the riders, but for the parents and spectators who spend their time and money there too.

That being said, quite a few of the rides and games were clearly broken down and hadn't been touched in years. It's kind of sad that no one is putting any love into this place, and hasn't in a long time. But, it's clearly very popular! We paid $5 to walk around, which is absolutely worth it for the nostalgia. You have the option to pay for unlimited rides or you can buy individual tickets for the rides you want. Since most of the rides would have made me vomit at this age, I was happy to pay $2.50 for a train ride around the lake. Jerry, the guy running the train, was fantastic! He really seems to love his job and his enthusiasm is contagious. I did think it was odd that on the list of rules as you line up to pay, it says no photos are allowed. BIZARRE. I guess they don't want any photos getting out of a ride that's about to break down? Clearly people were ignoring it, as who doesn't want photos of your kids having a blast on the rides! I have mixed feelings about this place. CLEARLY, people love the nostalgia. What bothers me is the lack of love behind it.
