If your drinking here then you've finally bottomed out. Last of the dive bars in West Seattle that the hipster doofus crowd hasn't populated yet. A joint where the old men can stager up to the bar and order a pint of PBA or Rainer and milk it for 3hrs while they stare at the paint peeling off the walls. I'm sure they wish they could still order Olympia or Hams, however there shit outta luck.

Oh Poggie! You know how some days you just feel like skipping a shower, wearing sweat pants and slumming on the couch? That's usually how I feel when I decide to stop in the ol' Poggie. It's truly is a dive, which is simultaneously strange and bad ass to find it right next door to places like Mashiko and Bakery Nouveau. Poggie don't give a shit! There's lots usual dive finds here. Wood paneling, pull tabs, dart boards, pool table, etc. They often have live music playing in the back. You'll also find a line up of working stiffs and older skewing regulars sitting at the bar. The beer is always cheap and cold. Service has always been good. If you're looking to mix it up a little on your next trip to West Seattle or want to feel like you're in Enumclaw, stop on by!

Total hole in the wall with pull tabs, local bands playing, and pool. Excellent hangout!

If I lived in West Seattle, I'd probably go here a lot. It's super low key, they've got pull tabs, and good beers.

A dive. Delightful. Beer and wine only, pull tabs, live music and shady characters - albeit harmless. A must visit.

This is a great place! Oh, it IS a divey, seedy, underbelly sort of place but it is also kind of homey like a friend's basement.

I got a kick out of both Star Wars and SpongeBob being played on the bar TVs while we decided on our order! Loved the chill vibe here. We ordered pickle chips to split-these were INCREDIBLE-they came with ranch, and they were crispy and chewy. They were addicting, and not greasy, oily or heavy in the batter they used to fry them. These managed to be both filling and light. Absolute win. I ordered an ABV free drink, True North. This was one of my favorite drinks I have ever had. I loved this combination of lime, ginger beer, hibiscus and the Pathfinder Hemp & Root. This was my first time trying this line of ABV free spirit, and I was blown away. True North was refreshing, not too sweet, bubbly and bright. We will definitely be coming back-there were lots of foods and cocktails we wanted to try.

You might have to wait for them to remember what they are selling, or flag them down for a check. If there were drink specials that made more sense, I could see a legitimate reason to spend time here drinking. This Goblin would pass on the food. I don't come here to eat. The food: expensive for what it is. Long ago dear reader, this Goblin worked in food service. He can spot "ready-made foods" from a mile away. This place leans more "eating to satiate", than "eating to satisfy", no matter how hard I fight my Goblin brain. Each meal, I come to terms with the sucker I am for eating a $27 omelette before tip. Herein lies our problem dear reader. Do I want a hummus plate for $12-15, that is essentially a disassembled and then reassembled menagerie of pre-made product on a plate? Or how about a cup of some mid-gumbo for $8? As a Goblin I have eaten many old soups out of a dirty cauldron, but Mid-Gumbo tastes like how Jack Harlow must feel waking up and telling himself he got blacker. Concerning the food (and Jack Harlow), it's about more than just lack of seasoning.
