    Carne Asada Tacos

This restaurant is in the middle of a resort and it was a little hard for us to find in the dark. We had a few people with limited mobility and there seemed to be a lot of steps both at the entrance and down to the main dining room. Fish and chips were really good and service was great (Sarah, I think?). The menu gave more sports bar vibe which didn't match the seemingly dated upscale decor. Just a bit of a disconnect there but very reasonably priced for what seemed to be a nice resort. Side note. As we were walking out, security followed us and waited for us to get down all the steps (which took a while) and then chased us into the parking lot asking my wife if there was anything we wanted to tell them. She was confused but he kept asking saying someone had called security. She asked if there was a problem and he said "you tell me". Still not totally sure what happened but we didn't witness anything inside and we certainly weren't any party someone would call security on. The whole encounter was very strange and unsettling.

This restaurant, located in the Hilton Tapatio Cliffs resort, was quite a drive for us. We were lucky to find a spot right outside, but they're not too many parking spots directly in front of the restaurant. This place is lovely. There are beam ceilings and lots of dark wood and a big fireplace in the center of the room. There are tables and semicircle booths and the windows have pretty diamond panes. The crown and glory is the gorgeous bar with carved wood everywhere. It is absolutely beautiful. As soon as we sat down somebody brought us water and we looked the menus while we waited for our server. There is no cocktail menu, but there is a full bar. Our cocktails were very, very good. We ordered: *Lemon Drop cocktail *Amaretto Sour cocktail *Blackened shrimp tacos *Buffalo wings *Southwestern chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus Everything was very good. The wings were so large and saucy. I loved the sauce in my chicken breast. We were afraid that it would take a while to get our food because we came in just after a large party. We did not have to worry because everything came out and perfect time. The only negative is that they allowed a guest to being a barking dog (clearly not a service animal) into the bar. Uncomfortable to other guests (barking) and against health code. I hope to come back in winter because I'm sure this place is so cozy in a cool, dark night with a fire in the fireplace.

Stayed at the Hilton cliffs during a soccer tournament and we were given vouchers for pointe in Tyme. We made sure we used it every day because how could you go wrong with free breakfast? Unfortunately the first day their French toast was frozen! I had to tell a worker that they had to bring that batch back in just in case. Thankfully after that the rest of the days were good. I enjoyed their sausage, they had a charcuterie board and fresh fruits. We really liked their potatoes and my kids enjoyed their bacon and eggs. They also have breads /oatmeal/juices and an omelette station. The staff was attentive and super friendly. The place is a good size for diff size parties. We also loved the hotel! Overall a great experience

We made reservations to have a bite after seeing a Christmas show nearby. The menu had great comfort food items with a more upscale twist. The garlic fries and quesadilla were a big hit at our table. The staff were all really friendly and took pictures for us near the fireplace and Christmas tree. It was a warm and inviting place. I took one star away because the website address leads you to the hilltop restaurant. It's a more upscale place to eat. The staff there were unfriendly and of no real help to navigate us to the correct restaurant by the golf course. They just said it's down the hill to the right. Thankfully the hotel has nicer staff in some locations.

This is part of the hotel. We ate here for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet was good, omelette station and pretty much everything else you would see at a hotel breakfast layout. It was good and there wasn't much other breakfast places. Dinner was different. This day was Sunday so many of the guests have checked out so there wasn't a lot of people eating there. I ordered the smashed burger which was just a double burger not flattened. It was a typical premade burger and it was okay. The truffle fries were okay nothing special about them. My wife liked the club sandwich but interesting enough is that we lost our waitress towards the end of the meal so we had to wait for refills. The meal was okay since it was our last day and didn't want to go out.

Pointe in Tyme is a bit of an institution. It's got that old school dark wood that you don't expect to see in AZ but it's pretty cool. I was there for lunch recently and they just changed up their menu. It has a much better variety. Shared the hummus and chicken quesadilla apps and we all had salads for lunch which were really good. I just forgot to take a picture of my Greek Citrus Salad since I gobbled it up! Really good dressing with a little kick.

This was my second time here and I had a great experience. It wasn't busy at all, so I liked that we got to have a nice conversation without all the loud noise. Our server was very nice and attentive. The menu has changed since I last came in, and I was really pleased with what I ordered.

wonderful ambiance, very dinner club style. Really good service both times and excellent food! Would definitely stay there again and eat @ Pointe in Tyne

Our server was wonderfully bubbly, friendly, and gave great recommendations. I ordered the Al Pastor hash, and the unique combination of flavors was absolutely amazing. Second -- CASH ONLY There is a Hawaiian inspiration/theme at the The OBH mixed with mexican flavors -- basically if you like a lot of meat with your breakfast then come here. When looking at other people's plates the portions looked very large -- the prices are average -- not cheap but not over the top. I did see someone with a cinnamon roll that looked pretty delicious. My mom had been here one other time and got the cinnamon roll pancakes, which she loved (and why we are here today) -- Nothing was speaking to me on the menu so I just ordered the classic OBH pancakes. I would give them about a 5/10 on the pancake scale. Also they didn't have real maple syrup even to purchase for extra -- they say their syrup is a maple syrup blend -- it wasn't full on plastic but it wasn't real maple syrup. I also ordered a side of scrambled eggs with cheddar -- it was a little runny and overall just average. The coffee was rank -- I would give it a 2/10. Our server was very friendly as was all of the other staff -- that is why I hate to only give 3 stars because it is a great local spot. When we left (around 9am) there was quite a long wait -- so you know it is very popular

We spotted this delightful little cafe where we were welcomed warmly and our waitress explained how things worked. I placed our orders at the counter, found my favorite (not so common) energy drink and enjoyed the clean and pleasant surroundings while we waited. The Carne Asada fries were perfect! They tasted great (covered in meat, salsa, avocado, etc.) and it was something sharable to tide us over another few hours. I can easily see myself going back when in the area again.

Not great quality turkey and they used the tomatoes that taste a little too slimy and rubbery (likely prepared well in advance and got gummy sitting for a few hours it's fine but not my favorite) but bacon was well cooked and not too oily. The bread and the toast on it was the best part of the sandwich. Fries that came with it were good and had a little seasoning salt on them. Friendly and relatively fast service. The place has a tv and a bunch of tables, and it looks like it could easily seat 20 people comfortably despite being a very small little shop. If I worked near here, this would probably be somewhere I could go to frequently. But seeing as this was a close option from where we were and had good ratings, it was good, but nothing special that I would make a point to come back for. The menu was relatively large, though, so this should be a solid option if you're on the fence about what you want to eat for breakfast or lunch.

My husband i stayed here for two nights as a staycation for his birthday and we needed it to reset and recharge. we've visited this property in the past and they are always so helpful and it's easy to get around, albeit the hilly parking might make those prone to anxiety a little wary. but overall, this was a great time away from our home. The reason i'm updating my review to three stars is because there is absolutely no enforcement of the 21+ rule at the adult pool. While taking a night swim on our last night, we witnessed two teenagers openly fighting and throwing f bombs at a guest who was trying to ask them to not leave their little sister alone in the pool while they cared more about their stupid tik tok dance. Parents and staff absolutely nowhere to be seen. This happened at 8:30 pm and the guest managed to hold his own against two spoiled brats.
