To say he knew the dishes well would be an understatement -- he could explain every ingredient in detail for anything we asked about. We always start with the Lump Crab & Spinach Dip with crostinis, and as always, it was absolutely to die for. For our entrées, we each ordered the salmon topped with shrimp and lump crab meat, finished with a rich butter sauce and mashed potato purée. Despite how busy the restaurant was, everything came out quickly and tasted absolutely magical. While the food was phenomenal, the service is truly what made this experience unforgettable. Personally I loved the shrimp ceviche and was pretty bummed about the swap because I didn't care for the michelada version nearly as much. Another change was the removal of the waffle with caviar from the happy hour menu, but good news, they can still make it if you ask! It's basically a secret menu item now and definitely worth ordering. They also added a rice dish to the Low Tide menu.
