Hands down my favorite Poke restaurant in Austin and doubly fortunate that they are right down the street! I eat here at least 4 tines a week and have NEVER been disappointed. Generous portion sizes, fresh fish and amazing sauces. The pickled ginger is a staple with the volcano sauce. The balance is perfection! Staff is super friendly. Starting to know some on a first name basis. Dalton is super kind, greets you with a smile and always has great suggestions for a new combination of sauces. Small portion sizes and their system is very different. You fill out a card and circle which toppings and rice you want. Normally you just walk through and tell them what you want on your bowl. The portion sizes are very small for the price you pay. This isn't the best Poké place and I don't really see myself coming back. read more

Been here about 30 times. Really great options, yummy, but unfortunately there is an older gentleman whom has started working there whom is rude. When I asked for the poke tuna he was supposed to do two scoops and put one. When I asked for more he argued and continued the behavior. The owner lady was there and did nothing. read more

Was super excited when i saw that south south Austin got a poke place! I like the chipotle feel of walking along and saying what you want as they make it -that way there's no room for error. Wish the scoops for the fish were slightly larger but that's ok. The chunks of protein are smaller than other places I've been to, but they still have a great selection of add ins and toppings. I like the mango and mild house poke sauce. I've been here twice in two days so that says I'm a fan. Food is good. Staff strikes me as a little off, some of them, not sure if it's an equal opportunity situation and some have disabilities or if they are just rude. Worst Poke in Austin. $32 for 2 Steaky bowls and one iced tea. The tuna was way overcooked. The brown rice was mushy. The service was not good - they couldn't care less if you were there or not. They pointed at where things were instead of helping us. We told them it was our first time in there. I would compare this to Panda Express type food - not fresh, not flavorful. Hey I'm all about supporting locally owned business. Especially in the current economic state. So I placed an online order for me personally, scheduled time 1:15. Arrived to my destination, walk in, observed a table that says "GrubHub", as well it's empty. I see two young ladies behind the counter with all the to-go orders. So of course approach, and provide the lady with my name "Anna", to my dismay they didn't have my food. Accordingly they ask to view my order, so I show my email confirmation. They locate my receipt, and they both realize they gave my order to the wrong person. They kindly offer to remake the meal, and I walk over to the line. And this young man walks up and asks me about the order. I jokingly say y'all gave my order away and laugh. He proceeds to tell me all the orders on the table with some serious attitude. Well son, your wrong there behind the counter and that's not very nice. The young woman ran for more quinoa returns, and finishes my meal. As she hands me my food. I kindly tell her, that young man isn't very kind. Sir, not only were you wrong, you were rude. Not only after that entire ordeal, the poke was dry and lacked sauce. Ordered here for the first time. Had the 3 protein sized bowl. Had the salmon and shrimp. Both of which were good. Little spice on the marinated salmon. I asked for furikake but didn't get any :/ the only reason I left 2 stars out was because the rice was severely undercooked. Not into crunchy rice. A great quick, healthy (I eat keto), and flavorful salad that didn't feel like a salad. This place is amazing. It's even good for pregnant women because they offer a wide variety of cooked options. Many other places have 5 proteins while this place has around 15! The price is reasonable, the quality is fresh, and the portions are generous. Only negative I want to point out is they are extremely slow and inefficient. They have the first person with one simple task while two other guys have complex/multi tasks and so it bottlenecks with them while the first guy stands there twiddling his thumbs.
