Well I was craving poke so thought I'd try out this place that wasn't too far! It was really delicious. The medium allowed 3 options so I got albacore, tuna and salmon. You get up to 7 extra toppings. I wasn't happy that seaweed salad was $1.50 extra but I love it too much not to get. I thought the portion size overall was good for the price. This restaurant is located in a relatively new outdoor shopping center in North Hollywood below the Regal Movie Theatre. Parking is located across the street in the center's huge pay parking structure. I visited this Poke Bar with two others for the first time about 30 minutes before closing. The employees were welcoming, helpful and friendly and the food was fresh and tasty. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely visit again. read more

I Got a small bowl for about 15 dollars that includes 2 proteins. It's actually a lot of food for $15. You get a base and 2 proteins, and it fills up the entire plate. I struggled to finish the plate. I almost gave up, but I'm no quitter! I got white rice with shrimp and tuna and some good sides of pineapple, cucumbers, eel sauce, and spicy mayo, and it all blended great together. This spot is located below the Regal Theater in the NoHo Plaza area. Plenty of parking and plenty of stores open to keep you in the area for a bit. A lot of sitting space to just sit and enjoy your bowl. I quickly have become a new fan. Can't wait for my next poke run! read more

This is the place to go if you're craving some good ol' fresh poke! Price is fair for what you get in your poke bowls, unlike other locations that I've been to. In my opinion, poke bowls are a health alternative to fast food. Needed something other than a burger and this hit the spot. Different size bowls but the small is definitely more than enough food. They also have poke burritos if you need something hand held instead. The service was very friendly with 2 staff meme era tag-teaming the orders. There is both indoor and outdoor sitting and the location is in the center of NoHo West across from Starbucks and The Stand. Parking is free for the first 1hour in the structure. read more

Went to this poke place and it was the worst experience. Most of the staff that works at the NoHo West location are very unmotivated to work. They don't know how to follow customers to go orders. Poor customer service with an attitude rushing you what to order. Would not recommend to go if you want to have a bad day and have the owner tell you that you have the wrong location. read more

I'm a sucker for all things Poke and finding a spot that has quality fish, great portions and a variety of items to choose from can be difficult! Luckily I found Poke Bar in the new NOHO West plaza and this is easily my new spot to go to with everything from spicy tuna to their OG marinade and even scallop as a protein, along with great base options like noodles, rice or salad, the possibilities are endless. Rude employees, rushed my order. I thought, I can only get 1 mix in since she rush to asked me what sauce I wanted. So sadly I juts got cucumbers. Had 3 bowls, two of them were put in the bag and charge and handle to me before the 3rd one was made. My husband wanted soup, had to be charge separately. That's how rushed we were. If there's one thing that's very important to me it's consistency. I have been here an additional 2 times since my review 10 days ago and I LOVE! For sure one of my favorite poke spots here in LA and I actually crave poke bar @noho west. The service is always so nice and welcoming. The food is delicious, the fish is very fresh (and a great selection of fish to choose from), and portions are perfect. I had a poke bowl yesterday, half salmon and half spicy tuna . I ate it outside on the tables. At first I thought everything was fine until a few hours later I had severe pain in my stomach. I called the store and spoke to owner, and all he did was deny that any of problems were his. No apology and nothing, I ended throwing up the food and going to the hospital. The most disappointing thing was how the owner handled the situation. Denial for everything. Keep in mind the Poké was the only thing I had ate all day . read more

Ordered through DoorDash, I got the BYOB poke bowl with spicy tuna and tuna. The rice was dry- definitely not fresh, the spicy tuna had a weird bitter taste like it came out of a can- also definitely not fresh, the rest was okay, cucumbers being the best part. I don't know if it was an off day or what, wouldn't eat here again, I couldn't eat more than 1/3 of my bowl hoping I don't feel sick after this. read more

The poke here is probably one of my favorite! Large variety of fish and toppings, also helps that the toppings are basically unlimited which is great. Service was fast, and the pricing was very reasonable (a large bowl can probably feed 2 people). Restaurant itself was clean. read more

This was my second time ever having Poké. I always see people get tuna but never tried it. There was a young lady and a young man behind the counter. I wish I would've remembered their names because they were wonderful. I explained I was new to poke and they were so helpful. I told her the above and she let me taste the tuna. I'm glad I did. Everything in the area is good and well-maintained. It's clean, organized, and generally pleasant to be in. However, the behavior of most of the workers is disappointing. Many of them come across as unfriendly, strange, and at times even aggressive, which makes the customer service feel almost nonexistent. Despite that, there is one worker I've noticed--usually on Fridays--who stands out in a very positive way. He is always polite, helpful, and genuinely kind, and he makes the whole experience much better. I don't remember his name, but he's truly the best part of the customer service there. Overall, the place has potential, but the attitude of most of the staff really needs improvement. read more

I'm a poke lover and have tryd this location a couple times before and I liked it , had a bowl here today and immediately after started feeling stomach cramps , they worsened and then I got a fever , I also threw up , called to notify them I wanted to leave a report and all the manager said was , that it could definitely not have been because of their bowl , even though that was all I had that day ignorant to what I was saying and dismissive , he even said " aww well I hope to see you soon " after he did nothing for me , anyways very disappointing read more

New spot at NoHo West. The Customer service is good and the outdoor seating is nice by the water fountain. The poke was fresh and had a lot of options. The portions are small and the prices are high. I paid around $60 for 1 small and 2 medium bowls. My nephew didn't even put anything on his bowl except rice and fish. No toppings at all but paid the same price. read more

We recently visited Poke Bar and I was pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed the variety of base that they offer. The kale noodle looked like an appetizing option, but decided with their brown rice. It was very fluffy and enjoyable! Their fish is also pretty fresh. For coming in late at night with a few minutes before they close, their salmon was really good. Their servings are also very generous compared to other poke places, which is a great plus! Their spicy tuna is on the spicy side (had us asking for cups of water). The side option was a bit of a struggle for me since I don't eat crab and don't really like the cucumber salad or seaweed salad. I ended up getting cucumber salad anyway. Toppings were straight forward and loved that they had crunch onions/garlic. Overall a great find. Will be adding Poke Bar to our rotation. read more

Ordered from this location on DoorDash -- did the MAKE MY OWN POKE BOWL. I love poke SO much and was starving hungry -- i also ordered the miso soup for $2. Immediately i saw that it was heavy so i was so excited. HOWEVER -- the reason why this is a ONE STAR and i wish i could give it ZERO is because i got the Large (4 scoops of protein) with 3 scoops salmon and 1 scoop Scallop... It smelled weirdly fishy so i was like hmm this is odd BUT it is raw seafood so obviously it's going to have a scent of fish.. however immediately after eating it i was on the toilet for 2 hours flushing it out. this is super dangerous for a poke restaurant that only has fish i would think they would be extra cautious. Very disappointed i will never order from here again -- i asked for a refund IMMEDIATELY from DoorDash and they gave it to me. BE CAREFUL OR YOU'LL BE ON THE TOILET. read more

Couldn't park in their small lot, so I parked on the street. Food: for my base, I got white rice, along with Spicy Tuna, Crab meat, Shrimp, & Albarcore. Burbank,Eagle Rock, La Canada, Flintridge, Rancho Palos Verdes and of course the one in Studio City. Will definitely return again soon. To make matters worse, my poke bowl had noticeably less food than I've received at other 8 Oz Poke locations, and it wasn't nearly as flavorful as the Encino location. The quality and portion were both underwhelming. I was also surprised to find there's an additional fee if you want to sit and eat there. After an unpleasant interaction, a smaller and less flavorful meal, an extra dine-in fee, and then being prompted for a tip, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be returning to this location. If you have the option, I'd recommend going to the Encino location instead.
