Till the lunch crowds return, Poke Bar is a super quick in and out lunch with zero fuss. Not that it was slow before but now it's a breeze. This feels like the healthiest of poke options with the brown rice and kale adding some good healthy texture. Fresh fish. Bright sauces. Fills you for lunch without weighing you down. Efficient and friendly staff will get you in-and-out fast with lunch in hand.

Seeing a poke counter in the FiDi is always a pleasant departure from the ubiquitous soup/salad/sandwich joints. They had some pre-designed bowls as well as Chipotle-style build-your-own. It's not like fancy restaurant poke, but it will satisfy your lunchtime craving. Firecracker: Chose a pre-designed bowl since I figured they knew some good flavor combos. I was still asked if I wanted anything else added in, which defeats the purpose of a pre-designed bowl... though I did add some edamame and the delicious fried onion and fried garlic toppings. Overall, it was pretty standard poke. Lots of hot white rice on the bottom. Fresh chunks of raw cool fish on top. A nice salty marinade. The veggies and herbs helped enhance the fish. Though it's a good idea to eat this quickly because cold fish on the hot rice will get an uncomfortable lukewarm if you wait too long.

Your average poke bowl; decent. I got salmon and spicy tuna, which had a good kick to it. The fried onions on top were a little too much for me, so I'd probably pass on it next time.

A little hard to find, but great poke for the area! They have tofu as a protein option as well as the regular fish options. Good topping selection as well.

Came here for lunch. It's a pretty standard poke bowl place. I got a large bowl with spicy tuna, salmon, albacore. It ended up being kind of dry even with sesame shoyu and spicy mayo. Fish wasn't bad or old but wasn't super fresh. It's fine if you want poke in the area but nothing exceptional

Regret. Sucks doesn't it? From wasted time with the wrong person, to soul sucking months and years at an evil job to wasted calories at a mediocre place. All are things that cause regret. I regret not just getting my butt up to find something better, or perusing the Yelp reviews of Poke Bar more, of even finding another suitable spot on Ritual that was still open and could make my order quickly. I finished a meeting nearby close to 3pm. Everyone knows most Fidi spots are open only for lunch and they typically close by 2. I hadn't eaten a meal all day and wanted something quick and pretty healthy. I've been trying to use my apps more and have enjoyed the Ritual app. I had some credit on it, and it said my poke bowl would be quick to make, so I decided to put in my order. It was easy to order and pick up. They don't offer any water cups or water and they suggested the nearby Starbucks in the building for that. There's no seating either, so you'll have to sit inside at one of the couches. Since it was an odd time I was able to get seating in the building. Upon opening the container I saw they were a bit stingy on the fish. I'm use to slightly more generous portions. Upon the first few bites I noticed how salty it was. I felt like I got my whole 2000mg of daily sodium allowance from this meal. They poured way too much shoyu (you can see on the second picture where I've eaten the majority of the contents but left the shoyu soaked brown rice. Granted, yes brown rice doesn't absorb as well as white, but I've never had a problem before when I've gotten brown rice and greens poke bowls. While disappointed, I am happy to say, no food poisoning resulted from this. I was a bit afraid as to the freshness as it was getting towards the end of the day. Definitely check other poke spots in the FiDi/Chinatown area over Poke Bar.

New poke bar in the city with quick service! I came in today with a co worker and already a few people ahead of us. Line moves quick! I ordered the small and double scoops of salmon. Opted for the brown rice and house special sauce. Many toppings to choose from and I got the mixed nut as a topping (which is new for me and I really enjoyed it). Price wasn't too bad either! As for the poke... very fresh and flavors mixed well. A small was more than enough! They are also very generous with the fish. My box was packed!! I'll be back! :)

Ahi tuna isn't fresh--it's breaking apart. Quality is subpar for a poke restaurant. Not worth the visit.

The Mai Tai was so easy to drink. It was like juice but so dangerous because they don't skimp on the alcohol. For the poke specials, they do not add fillers. There's a good amount of toppings, and it's a good sizable portion. Fish is decently fresh. Definitely come in for them. Wings are okay, but they aren't the best that I've had. While the organization and timing of the event were off, I have no issues with the food, staff or restaurant itself. Anyways, I organized my plate with a bit from multiple trays including salad, poke, fried tofu cubes, kimchi fried rice, and galbi cubes. If the food was indicative of the restaurant's standard menu offerings, then I really liked the kimchi fried rice and tofu. Not as big of a fan of the galbi cubes and poke, but I honestly can't really complain about catered, sponsored food. Overall seems like a solid spot in the city to satisfy Hawaiian food cravings.

It's tucked away from the rest of the bar with plenty of seating, so we could all sit comfortably and rest our feet after being in heels all day. We had a $1k minimum bar tab spend, which we easily met with about 30 of us having at least one drink. Bonus points for having a men's room, women's room, and two unisex stalls! I ordered a matcha martini since I really needed a little caffeine to sustain myself through karaoke afterwards as well, and it is now one of my favorite cocktails. Super creamy with the delicious notes of pineapple and coconut, and you can't really taste the alcohol (just the way I like it). Half our table ordered one after trying mine! Service was pretty good and friendly but had to kind of flag down our waiter on both occasions at the end, not a huge deal. It's a nice place to catch up with a friend and quiet enough to have a conversation. Both times, my friends enjoyed the drinks they got- the chocolate negroni and a matcha martini. The second visit we came specifically for the matcha martini and also got the churros (chocolate sauce and matcha sauce) and a matcha basque cheesecake. The matcha lover I was with was very happy though for me, the matcha cheesecake was a bit much. It is very matcha forward and you will enjoy it if you love matcha. I liked the churros a lot and the portion was super genrous. Also got the brussel sprouts on the first visit which were solid - a bit on the salty side but pretty enjoyable and it was also a huge portion. Overall I'd definitely come back here. I'd been to their old location on Market street a bunch of times many years ago and loved it. This is very different in most ways but also good. Parking is easy enough - both street parking and in a garage. Not sure how busy they get but at least after 9 pm on a weeknight both times, it was not very busy but also not dead. They are open pretty late which is also good.
