Elizabeth has made our experiences memorable for years and we will always appreciate everyone at the restaurant for their incredible food and service!

We were a party of four, seated quickly and our server came up after 5 minutes or so, asked about drinks. We ordered he brought them and then disappeared...didn't ask if we wanted appetizers. We stopped him on his next lap passing by and asked for edamame, he brought one order and left. Had to stop him again and asked for another order as he didn't wait long enough for us to say two orders the first time...he dropped it off and gone againWe were ready to order so we had to flag him down again. Finally ordered and he brings one order...then 5 minutes later another order...and then 5 minutes for the next order and then closer to 10 minutes for the last order. No apparent thought given to bringing everything at the same time so we can all eat together? Very sad as we have always enjoyed eating here...maybe they were too busy but good service should always be a foremost goal of a restaurant...

My wife found this place on our most recent visit to Paso Robles - Good eyes!…read more We dropped in on a Tuesday night - we came in after a group of 6 were seated, and were seated within a few minutes. The place was really busy. I could see several flat screen TVs over the bar playing the World Cup, and the bar was slammed. We dithered over the menu - they provided a drink menu and a food menu. I ended up ordering a Trio - which was comprised of a Spicy Tuna sandwich, a Baja Burger (which was also spicy) and their Garlic Fries, which were served with a dish of a very spicy garlic aioli sauce that my wife and I shared. My wife ordered a Duo with a Vacation Mode sandwich which featured pesto chicken, hummus, olive tappanade, and garlic aioli. She really liked her sandwich. She paired that (Duo you get 2) with a California Cowboy Cobb salad, which as you can see in the photos, was quite large. The food was served hot and fresh - the fries were very nice shoestring type, and were cooked properly. I have had "spicy" Tuna sandwiches before - this was the first one which was really spicy - it was perfect. A nice slab of seared tuna as well. The burger was just plain good. They call the burgers "sliders" because they are around 3 inches in diameter. If you have a larger appetite, figure it out. The drinks were good - I ordered the Old Fashioned (if you don't know what that is, try one) and my wife ordered the more exotic Beauty School Dropout, which had Crowbar Pink Gin, Elderflower liquer, lavender and honey syrup, lemon AND lime juice which was served in a chilled cut glass coup glass. Yes, I know I used "glass twice". It was very tangy and refreshing. The place has large doors which were open with seating both inside and outside. There were larger tables for larger groups. Take a minute to go over the menu, or you might miss the slider of your dreams.

Years after having Catch recommended to us, we finally came in after getting the stamp of approval…read morefrom a friend. She recommended sitting at the bar, so we did just that, and it was such a good choice. It was really fun to watch them cook and get to chat with the owner while he did so. We asked the owner what he recommended, and the calamari appetizer was his highlight. We started with that, and it was great. While everything else in the meal was also really good, this was the highlight and I'd absolutely get it again and again. For mains we got the scallop and scampi pasta over pasta and the trio fish plate special. Narrowing it down to these two wasn't easy since everything on the menu sounded good. I would get both items again, but will probably get something else next time just to try more of the menu. We came in right as they opened on a weekday evening, so we had the place to ourselves to start. It did start to fill in fairly quickly, so I would imagine it gets crowded on weekends.

Look, I wanted to like this spot- I hate writing bad reviews…read more But I am flabbergasted by all the hype and positive reviews of this restaurant. It seriously tasted like fish night at my grandmother's retirement home. We went with a party of four, we had been recommended the location, but I should have known better because when I mentioned to locals where we were going for dinner they all kind of went blank and said, "Oh that's nice..." and then invariably told us about other local restaurants. The food was flavorless. Like I would have rather been served bad interesting food because then at least they would have been trying- this was just uninspired. Now, the service was fine. The restaurant seemed clean, the patio was lovely. But the best thing we ate was the complimentary bread and butter.
